First up, we’ve got the iconic besties from Monstropolis. If you’re a fan of Mike Wazowski, you can grab a pair of headphones featuring his signature lime-green look and giant eye, they’re surprisingly soft and perfect for zoning out to your favorite movie. Disney Character Plush Headphones

For the Toy Story fans, there’s a pair dedicated to everyone’s favorite strawberry-scented (well, in the movie anyway!) villain: Lotso. These headphones are extra snuggly, making them the perfect companion for a long car ride or a weekend gaming session. Even if Lotso was a bit of a meanie on screen, these headphones are nothing but sweet comfort.

If you’re all about the timeless characters, Five Below has you covered with Stitch and Winnie the Pooh. The Stitch headphones are a must-have if you’re ready to go on your own “Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride”, they capture that mischievous blue alien energy perfectly. 2026 Disney World Merch To Ring In The New Year!

2026 Disney World Merch

2026 Disney World Merch To Ring In The New Year!

Can you believe we’re already looking toward 2026? If you’re planning to ring in the New Year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, you’re going to need the right swag to commemorate the trip. Disney has just dropped a sneak peek at the 2026 Disney World merch, and it is giving us all the retro, sparkly vibes we need. Whether you’re a collector of the classic “dated” plush or you need that one perfect ornament for your tree, there is plenty to choose from.

First things first: you can’t walk down Main Street, U.S.A. without a fresh pair of ears. The Minnie and Mickey Mouse 2026 Ear Headband ($36.99) is a total standout this year. It features a cool retro print on simulated leather ears, but the real star is that super sparkly silver sequined bow. It’s the perfect accessory for those “first photo of the year” moments.

If you want something a bit more permanent (and shiny!), the Mickey Mouse Icon 2026 Charm by Pandora ($85) is a must-have. This sterling silver beauty uses a Mickey icon for the “0” in 2026 and features a white lab-created opal on one side with the Fantasyland castle on the back. It’s a splurge, sure, but it’s a stunning way to keep those 2026 memories close to your heart.

Disney knows how to do ornaments, and this year’s dated options are top-tier. For the tech fans, the Mickey and Minnie Light-Up Ornament ($29.99) features a Cinderella Castle backdrop and a base that actually glows with the 2026 logo. It’s a great way to add a little extra “pixie dust” to your holiday setup.

If you prefer something a bit more traditional, the Mickey Mouse Icon Glass Ball Ornament ($34.99) is the way to go. It’s topped with a tiny, sculpted Mickey figure and covered in glittering 2026 logos. It’s one of those “forever” souvenirs that will remind you of your vacation every time you pull it out of the storage bin.

For those who want to bring the magic into their morning routine, the Mickey Mouse and Friends Mug ($16.99) is an easy win. It’s a “stellar souvenir” (Disney’s words, but we agree!) that’s perfect for your coffee or cocoa. At under $20, it’s also one of the more wallet-friendly ways to take a piece of the parks home with you.

Finally, we have to talk about the Mickey Mouse 2026 Plush ($29.99). Mickey is looking extra sharp this year in a satin tourist shirt covered in 2026 logos. But the best part? The details. He’s rocking corduroy pants and canvas sneakers, making him possibly the best-dressed mouse in the parks. He’s soft, celebratory, and ready for a spot on your shelf.

Beyond the visuals, the experience was heightened by brand-new Master Control narration and a pulse-pounding score by Nine Inch Nails.

Gonzo’s Royal Flush Has Flushed Out of Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Gonzo’s Royal Flush has officially gone down the drain. Overnight, the beloved and delightfully punny restroom signage was removed from Muppets Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, marking another visible step in the transformation of the area into Monstropolis from Monsters, Inc. The large 3D letters that once sat proudly atop the green awning are now gone, leaving behind faded Broadway Plumbing lettering that hints at Gonzo’s chaotic plumbing takeover days.

The restroom building itself is sticking around, along with PizzeRizzo and MuppetVision 3D, but all three are being re-themed as part of the upcoming Monstropolis land. Concept art released so far does not show any standout restroom theming, though Disney fans know those details can always sneak in later. For now, the Broadway Plumbing water tower and PizzeRizzo billboard are still holding their ground as familiar landmarks in a rapidly changing courtyard.

Construction progress nearby is also picking up speed. Fake windows and awnings have already been removed from the MuppetVision 3D façade, and crews have poured much of the concrete flooring for the new Monsters, Inc. roller coaster show building. Bit by bit, the felt and feathers are giving way to fur and doors, and the shift is becoming impossible to ignore.

The resort’s location between Munich and Stuttgart makes it easily accessible for both domestic and international travelers, and tourism officials in Bavaria are already calling the project a major win for the region. Major Site Clearing Underway for Piston Peak and Villains Land at Magic Kingdom

Big changes are officially reshaping the landscape at Magic Kingdom, as major site clearing is now underway for both Piston Peak National Park and the upcoming Disney Villains Land. New aerial photos from bioreconstruct reveal that the former Rivers of America has been completely filled in, with Tom Sawyer Island still faintly visible by its outline, now covered in sand and gravel as construction crews prepare the ground for what is coming next.

Site Clearing Underway for Piston Peak & Villains Land at the Magic Kingdom

The area designated for Piston Peak National Park appears to be almost entirely cleared, with large construction vehicles spread throughout the site. This Cars-themed land will stretch from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad toward the Haunted Mansion, transforming the park’s frontier edge into a national park-inspired environment with a Pixar twist. The land will feature towering rockwork, waterfalls, a large geyser, barrel bridges, and two attractions, including a rally-style race ride and a more family-friendly experience. Disney has also shared that architecture will gradually shift from Frontierland style into playful “Car-itecture” to maintain sightlines and storytelling flow.

Next door, similar progress can be seen at the future Disney Villains Land. A wide expanse of cleared dirt now marks where the dark and dramatic land will rise, stretching all the way back behind “it’s a small world.” Aerial views also show new backstage infrastructure taking shape, including ponds and a tunnel system designed for water management, signaling that this project is moving beyond concept art and into serious groundwork.

While Disney has released limited details about Villains Land so far, it is confirmed to include two major attractions along with shopping and dining. The concept art leans heavily into gothic fantasy inspired by Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent, and other iconic villains, with legendary Disney animator Andreas Deja consulting on the project. With both lands now visibly in motion, this corner of Magic Kingdom is officially entering its next era.
