Frozen Holiday Surprise
Debuting in 2023 at Magic Kingdom Park, “Frozen” friends from Arendelle are conjuring up something remarkable for the holidays. The new Frozen Holiday Surprise brings together Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings who attempt to add festive decor to Cinderella Castle. With Anna and Kristoff at her side, Queen Elsa adds sparkling finishing touches, transforming the castle into a shimmering crystallized palace – a look that will remain each evening throughout the holidays. The confirmation comes via new Disney Live Entertainment casting calls posted for performers in both productions, giving guests an early glimpse at what’s returning for this year’s party lineup.

Frozen Holiday Surprise will once again transform Cinderella Castle into a sparkling winter wonderland as Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf take center stage in the nighttime castle show. The production ends with Elsa using her icy magic to illuminate the castle in shimmering holiday projections, continuing the newer version of the show that replaced the iconic Castle Dream Lights installation several years ago.

Disney is currently casting for the roles of Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff, with online submissions open through May 25, 2026. In-person callbacks are expected to take place in Orlando on July 24.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration is also set to return to the Cinderella Castle Forecourt Stage. The energetic stage show features Mickey and friends performing holiday songs and festive choreography throughout the party night, making it one of the event’s signature entertainment offerings.

With both shows now confirmed, they join the previously announced return of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, signaling that Disney is sticking with a very familiar entertainment lineup for this year’s hard-ticket holiday event.

Disney has not yet officially announced party dates, ticket prices, or on-sale information for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2026. Last year’s details were released in early July, with tickets going on sale about a week later. Every 2025 party night eventually sold out, with ticket prices ranging from $169 to $229 per person before tax.

Many Disney fans are already buzzing online about one notable omission yet again: the beloved Cinderella Castle Dream Lights. The dazzling icicle light display last appeared during the 2019 holiday season, and fans continue to debate whether the iconic lights could ever return instead of the current projection-based finale.

For now, though, it looks like guests can expect another holly-jolly season packed with castle shows, parades, snowfall on Main Street, cookies, cocoa, and enough holiday magic to melt even Elsa’s frozen heart. ❄️🎄
