After proving to be a massive hit in 2025, these outdoor screenings are back by popular demand, offering the perfect, cozy way to spend a crisp autumn evening with family and friends.

Mark your calendars for some mid-week magic! Movie Nights will take place every Wednesday throughout September and October.

Here are the exact dates you can catch a film:

September: 9, 16, 23, and 30
October: 7, 14, 21, and 28

Mark your calendars, because World of Color – ONE is making a brief, limited-time comeback to Disney California Adventure from August 10 through the Halloween season. While Disneyland has not officially released its entertainment calendar for August, we can look at the current World of Color schedule for a hint of what to expect. Right now, the nightly spectacular typically runs at 9:00 PM and 10:15 PM, though some weekdays only feature the single 9:00 PM showing.

Spider-Man fans will have a chance to swing into theaters early this summer thanks to a new promotion from Amazon Prime and Fandango. The two companies have announced a nationwide early screening event for Spider-Man: Brand New Day on Wednesday, July 29, giving Amazon Prime members the opportunity to see the highly anticipated Marvel film two days before its official theatrical release on July 31.

While tickets are not on sale yet, fans can sign up through Amazon to receive notifications when reservations become available. To celebrate the announcement, Fandango also unveiled an exclusive promotional poster featuring Spider-Man overlooking a city skyline in a comic book-inspired art style.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Returning cast members include Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. The film also brings back Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, better known as The Punisher, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. Actress Sadie Sink joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a currently undisclosed role.

Guests staying at Walt Disney World now have even more time to take advantage of one of Disney’s best hotel discounts. Walt Disney World has officially extended its popular bounceback offer through much of 2027, giving current resort guests the opportunity to lock in significant savings on a future vacation.

The bounceback offer allows guests to save up to 35% on a future Disney Resort hotel stay when booked within seven days of checking out from a current Walt Disney World vacation. Originally introduced for 2025 travel dates, the offer has now been extended multiple times and now includes eligible stays through October 2027.

Guests staying at Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts can save up to 35%, while select Moderate Resorts offer savings of up to 30% and Value Resorts offer up to 25% off standard room rates. Disney sends eligible guests a booking link on their checkout date, giving them one week to secure the discounted reservation.

Among the resorts eligible for the highest savings tier are Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and several Disney Vacation Club properties.

Six New Construction Permits Filed for Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Construction on Tropical Americas continues to pick up steam at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as Walt Disney Imagineering has filed six additional construction permits for locations throughout the future land.

The newly filed permits, submitted on June 2, contract Whiting-Turner for general construction work at several former DinoLand U.S.A. locations. The permits cover the former Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures gift shop, the former Donald Duck meet-and-greet location, Dino-Bite Snacks, Trilo-Bites, Restaurantosaurus, and a backstage pump building located behind the construction zone.

While much of DinoLand U.S.A. has already disappeared behind construction walls, these permits offer another glimpse into Disney’s plans for the area. Rather than being demolished, several of the existing structures are expected to be re-themed and incorporated into the new land. Restaurantosaurus, for example, is set to become a hacienda-style restaurant within the village of Pueblo Esperanza.

The permits follow a previous batch of electrical permits filed earlier this spring, signaling that work is continuing across multiple areas of the project simultaneously. Tropical Americas is scheduled to open in 2027 and will transform the former DinoLand U.S.A. into a vibrant new land inspired by the cultures, landscapes, and stories of Latin America.

When complete, guests will be able to explore Pueblo Esperanza, a fictional village serving as the heart of the land. New experiences will include an Encanto-inspired attraction, a carousel, a themed playground, and a reimagined version of DINOSAUR that will take guests on an Indiana Jones adventure.

With permits continuing to roll in and construction activity increasing throughout the site, the transformation from dinosaurs to adventurers is well underway at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
