There’s a new delicious option for lunch at Disney Springs and my mouth is watering just thinking about it! STK Orlando is now offering lunch Monday to Friday from 11 am to 3 pm.

Christopher Robin Falls Short For It's First Weekend At The Box Office

Christopher Robin opened this weekend all across the United States. While Disney was hoping for a record breaking opening weekend for it’s new live action film, the movie fell short. Mission: Impossible – Fallout soared into first, grossing $35 million in 4,395 locations. Christopher Robin opened with just $25 million in 3,602 locations.

This is the second film from Disney this year that has not opened in the number one spot. A Wrinkle In Time, which hit theaters back in March, saw only $33.5 million for it’s first few days.

Even though the film did not break records, Disney is still optimistic that Christopher Robin will rebound. Disney’s head of theatrical distribution Cathleen Taff stated “We believe this is a solid start for this film. We think this movie will have legs. We don’t have a lot of family film competition behind us.”

Are you looking for something new to nosh on at Disney’s Hollywood Studio? Check out the Sci Fi Dine In new menu options!

First up you’ll find the Sci-Fi Appetizer Sampler. This starter is made up of boneless buffalo tenders, shrimp and crab fondue, house-made tortilla chips, and fried dill pickles and served with blue cheese and horseradish. If the Shrimp and Crab Fondue is your favorite – now you can get it as a full-sized appetizer! This dish is a blend of shrimp, crab, and cheeses with roasted red peppers, fresh dill, and corn tortilla chips. And if you’re a veggie (and bacon?!) lover try the new Sci-Fi Wedge Salad with crispy iceberg wedge, grape tomato, bacon, red onions, blue cheese crumbles, radish, balsamic glaze, and blue cheese dressing.

And appetizers aren’t the only new things on the menu. When it comes to new entrees you’ve got Buffalo Chicken Salad, a Smoked Prime Rib Sandwich, Pan-Seared Shrimp or Chicken Pasta, Beef and Blue Burger, and Vegan Tofu Lettuce Wraps to choose from!

The Vegan Tofu Lettuce Wraps come with salt and pepper crispy-fried tofu, lettuce cups, water chestnuts, shredded carrots, spicy cucumber, Szechuan sauce, and soba noodle salad.

If you’re in the mood for meat check out the Sci-Fi Barbecue Platter or the Drive-In BBQ Burger. The burger is a signature blend of beef with BBQ spice, house-made BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, and crispy-fried jalapeño and onion straws served on a brioche bun. The Sci-Fi Barbecue Platter features smoked pulled pork, St. Louis-style ribs, grilled chicken, sausage, cheddar cornbread, southern coleslaw, and cowboy beans finished with a Coca-Cola barbecue sauce.

Stunning New Fantasyland Attractions Inspired Purses

Gorgeous apparel and accessories are popping up all the time now at the Disney Parks. The latest collection of must haves, are the new Fantasyland Attractions Inspired Purses! These beautiful handbags are inspired by “it’s a small world” and the carousel!

The “it’s a small world” purse is created with the likeness of the iconic small world hot air balloon. The purse is a fully dimensional recreation of the balloon, complete with the same soft pastel hues and antique gold accents seen throughout the iconic ride. The inside of the bag is even lined with a print that showcases the farewell flowers that wish you goodbye at the end of the ride!

The Carousel Horse handbag is truly marvelous. This bag has a whimsical die-cut design with metal embellishments and embroidered details. It’s a large sized bag, but the actual purse section is a box shape, so you don’t have to worry about your smaller items falling into nooks and crannies. The lining of this bag has a fun pink and purple polka-dotted lining, which compliments the pink hair of the Carousel Horse.

Both bags are available at select locations through out the Disney Parks and Resorts where designer handbags are sold, and retail for $65.00.

New Boardwalk Merchandise

Disney’s Boardwalk is an entertainment and dining area, with a beach town vibe. The souvenirs from here always have that same chic, and relaxed beachy feel. Thimbles and Threads which is a gift shop located on the Boardwalk, now has New Boardwalk Merchandise offerings, that takes the classic Boardwalk beach vibe, and mixes it with the modern Mickey and Minnie style.

The Mickey and Minnie design style is from the more recent Mickey Mouse cartoons, that we will also see on the new Mickey Mouse Runaway Railway attraction coming to Hollywood Studios. There are several new shirts featuring Disney’s Boardwalk, including a mix of long sleeves, and tank tops.

A new Disney Trading Pin featuring Mickey and Minnie is now available, in cute summer colors. A new keychain can also be found, that looks like a Boardwalk postcard.

Disneyland Hotel Tangaroa Terrace to Close this Fall for Refurbishments

Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel will close this fall for refurbishments. Starting September 4th through the end of 2018, the favorite tropical spot will be undergoing substantial renovations. The South Pacific casual dining experience is known for its delicious Hawaiian delights and oasis type atmosphere is located next to Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Tangaroa menu is loaded with Polynesian specialties such as Hawaiian burgers, Sweet and Spicy Asian Wings, Fried Spring Rolls, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, and mouthwatering shrimp tacos.

We spotted two new Incredible treats at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery that needed to be shared! Starting this weekend you can choose from the Incredible Krispy Treat or the Incredible Candy Apple.

Main Street Confectionery Has Just Released Two Incredible Treats

The Incredible Candy Apple is a tart granny apple dipped in caramel and red chocolate. It is then topped with an edible Incredibles logo sugar disc. They are priced at $10.99.

If you aren’t a caramel apple person then I highly suggest the Incredible Krispy Treat. It’s a circular Rice Krispy treat with a stick going through the center. Then red chocolate is poured on top and that yummy Incredibles logo sugar disc is placed on top. It’s available for $5.49 or Disney Dining Snack Credit.

The Main Street Confectionery is located on Main Street, U.S.A. inside the Magic Kingdom. This old-fashioned candy shop is the place to go for delightful treats and amazing smells!
