Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel will close this fall for refurbishments. Starting September 4th through the end of 2018, the favorite tropical spot will be undergoing substantial renovations. The South Pacific casual dining experience is known for its delicious Hawaiian delights and oasis type atmosphere is located next to Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. Tangaroa menu is loaded with Polynesian specialties such as Hawaiian burgers, Sweet and Spicy Asian Wings, Fried Spring Rolls, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, and mouthwatering shrimp tacos.
Have no fear, there are still plenty of dining locations that offer food and drink that are sure to keep the magical island gods happy! Check out some of our other suggestions to keep your tummy full while staying at the Disneyland Hotel.
Everyone’s favorite Dole Whip with rum can be found at the Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel as well! Coffee House offerings of sandwiches, salads, assorted pastries, alcoholic drinks, and an extensive menu of espresso drink blends.
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar incredible menu includes delicious dishes such as the Pu Pu Platter, Tangaroa Salad with Sauteed Shrimp, and a Poke Bowl… and after 8 p.m. Trader Sam’s “Kisses Little Explores Goodnight” and becomes an adult only destination.
If you’re looking for a quick buffet style meal the whole family is sure to love, then pop into the character craziness of Goofy’s Kitchen located next to the Coffee House on the west side of the Monorail Pool at the Disneyland hotel.
For now, it is unknown what refurbishments are planned for this popular alfresco casual dining spot, but we will keep you posted as we get the details. As always check back to Chip and Co for the most up to date Disney information and news!
