Today, Chip was lucky enough to attend a preview of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios. (P.S.: He said it is going to be amazing!) In addition, Disney also released another photo to give us a peek at the Land’s flagship ride – Slinky Dog Dash:

VIDEO: Exciting Details About Toy Story Land Revealed

We are so excited about Toy Story Land! Other than the new rides and attractions that are coming to the new Land, we really don’t know much about it. Well, today Chip is at an official Disney Toy Story Land preview event and just received these exciting details about what Guests can expect!

Here are some of the highlights:

First off, Guests entering the land will be shrunk down to the size of one of Andy’s toys. Just imagine being in your own back yard surrounded by all the grass and plants. Of course one of Andy’s favorite toys, Woody will be there to greet you! In addition, Guests who enter Toy Story Land will be able to take it all in at once. All the blocks, Tinker Toys, and everything else will be right there waiting for you.
Then, it’s on to Toy Story Mania! As we have reported, the entrance to the ride is currently undergoing a refurbishment ahead of Toy Story Land’s opening. Guests in the queue will go under, over and, next to all the toys that make up what Andy calls the “carnival under his bed” while you head to Andy’s bedroom and play the awesome Toy Story Mania game.
Across the street from Toy Story Mania will be the Alien Swirling Saucers ride. The Pizza Planet toy-themed ride features dozens of little green aliens spinning through the Universe of Peperomia and you, the Guest, are along with the exciting ride! Guests will be in their own toy rockets passing through the ultimate space universe.
And, of course, one of the highlights of Toy Story Land will be Slinky Dog Dash. Riders of the roller coaster will get to explore Andy’s imagination first hand. Andy uses new and old toys alike to build the coaster that takes Guests on a tour of his entire backyard.
The place to eat in Toy Story Land is Andy’s Lunch Box. Guests will dine in Andy’s vintage wooden, rounded lunch box. Guests will dine alongside the Thermos and all of Andy’s food that he eats for lunch. Guests will also order their food through Tupperware windows.

Disney has revealed the Pixar Pier Costumes cast members will be wearing at Pixar Pier when it opens on June 23rd this summer at Disney California Adventure. The new attire has been fashioned after iconic Pixar symbols- The Incredibles and the Pixar ball we see at the beginning of Pixar films.

The Incredibles costumes were designed to resemble the superheroes suits in red and black. You can also see the Incredibles logo on the sleeve of the costumes. It’s a safe bet that we will see these over at the new Incredicoaster.

Frozen on Broadway New Trailer

Frozen the Broadway Musical opens on Broadway March 22nd and has released their official trailer. The highly anticipated musical has fans excited to be taken away to Arendelle since the announcement it was coming to the stage. The new trailer looks amazing as you fall in love with the cast.

Leading the cast are Caissie Levy and Patti Murin as royal sisters Elsa and Anna, respectively. Among those joining them are Jelani Alladin as Kristoff, John Riddle as Hans, Greg Hildreth as Olaf, and Robert Creighton as Weselton. Join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and Sven as they go on wild adventures live on stage.

“The two-act musical is the first Frozen adaptation to expand upon the original 2013 animated hit. Port Orleans French Quarter Now Offering Painting Classes on Wednesday Evenings

Here at Chip and Co. one of our favorite things about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is all of the incredible extracurricular activities you’ll find by picking up one of the Resort Activity Calendars a the front desk. Our very own Chip is currently at Walt Disney World and uncovered a new offering at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter that has us pretty excited.

Check it out!

Painting on the Bayou is a chance for visitors to let your artistic side show. This special offering will take place at the Scat Cat’s Club on Wednesdays from 6pm – 1opm. Painting on the Bayou is an instructor-led paint class where visitors get to design your own take-home Disney-themed masterpiece. There is a $35.00 fee to participate. Weekly registration is limited to just 16 participants.

The theme for this month is Peter Pan!

If you’ll be staying at Walt Disney World Resort and would like to participate call 321.347.0750.

Brendon Urie Covers DuckTales on Fallon

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Panic at the Disco’s lead singer, Brendon Urie, performed the theme song from Disney’s DuckTales on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night. Brendon’s animated performance brought back childhood memories from the classic 1980’s TV show. Uncle Scrooge and the boys would have been proud.

This is a departure from his normal catchy pop songs or his stint on Broadway in the musical KinkyBoots in which he played one of the lead roles, Charlie Price. Urie did the theme song proud, and rocked it on stage even causing Fallon to bow in honor at the end of the performance.

Not pony tails or cotton tails but DuckTales, oo-oo!

The Starbucks on Main Street U.S.A. inside the Magic Kingdom is arguably the most magical Starbucks in the world. Where else can you have your favorite Starbucks drink while enjoying a Rose Gold Cupcake and take in the beauty of Cinderella Castle?

The only downside of having a Starbucks right in the middle of all the magic at the Magic Kingdom is the long waits. Well, those long waits might be a thing of the past! The Starbucks on Main Street U.S.A. has recently installed a “grab n’ go” station that allows Guests to walk right up and grab a cup of their favorite Joe.
