More Disneyland Restaurants Accepting Mobile Orders

fall treats disneyland

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure recently announced that they had expanded their list of quick-service restaurants that accommodate mobile ordering via the Disneyland app.

Just last week, even more quick-service eateries were added to the list, including Stage Door Café, Royal Street Veranda, Refreshment Corner and Edelweiss Snacks. The line-up now includes over 20 different locations.

Whether you’re hungry for chimichangas at Edelweiss Snacks or New Orleans Fritters from Royal Street Veranda, mobile ordering saves you time while you’re enjoying the parks. All you need is your smartphone, the Disneyland app and an appetite for great food!

Mobile ordering in the parks is a snap—simply open the Disneyland app on your phone, click “Order Food” and then choose from the list of available quick-service food locations. From there you’ll be able to order the food you want and even choose a time when you’d like to pick it up—even if that’s a few hours from now! Simply pay for your items, and when you arrive at the quick-service location, click the tab that reads, “I’m here, prepare my order,” even if you arrive at a time that is different from the arrival window you previously chose. You’ll have your food in no time–and with no waiting in a long line.

Use the Disneyland app to access park maps, see showtimes, find restaurants and more. It’s free to download, free to use and available for Apple and Android smartphones.

Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Debuts at Epcot – Review

Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Debuts at Epcot

Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Debuts at Epcot

The new Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake has debuted in Epcot at the American Adventure funnel cake booth. This new funnel cake is a perfect balance of pumpkin spice and everything nice.  I am in love with this fantastic fall treat.

Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake Debuts at Epcot

The funnel cake booth is located to the far right of the American Adventure (across from the American Gardens Theatre) just past Japan. As soon as you walk up to the booth, it brings back memories of your local county fair.  Freshly fried when ordered and generously dusted with powdered sugar, the Pumpkin Spice Funnel Cake is a standout. Oh yeah, did I mention absolutely delicious?!  As soon they handed me the plate, I could smell the pumpkin spice.  For $9.50, this is an ideal dessert to share with family and friends.  Just remember it comes out piping hot LOL!

Flamingo Crossing Housing Project Permits Filed

Flamingo Crossing Housing Project Permits Filed

Flamingo Crossing housing project permits were filed yesterday with the South Florida Water Management District. The property address says West of State Rd. 429 and East of Flamingo Crossings Blvd.   The permits show plans to build on a parcel of land just over 60 acres.  This property would most likely be more housing for the very large workforce at Walt Disney World.  Additional housing has been needed for the International and Disney College Program for quite some time.

Last year we reported on the plans to create a 45 acre commercial and retail area that will roll out in three phases. Two hotels, SpringHill Suites by Marriott and TownePlace Suites, opened in 2016 and were the only development on the land. Well, that is all about to change. Disney just announced at the ICSC Florida Conference and Deal Making they will finally begin construction on the land with a budget-friendly shopping complex.

The 237,000 square feet complex will be similar to Disney Springs but will house more budget-friendly retail shops and fast-casual dining options. Development by Disney on the land will take place in three different phases with the first phase to be started as early as next year. Disney will likely offer land leases and lease building shells to tenants.

These new plans filed on 10/1/2018 show recreational and sporting locations throughout the buildings that are also zoned commercially. Likely for swimming pools, tennis courts, and more.
