Calling all Jake fans! Get your little buccaneers to Hollywood Studios to meet Jake while you still can. On October 7, 2018 this swashbuckling meet and greet in Animation Courtyard at Hollywood studios will end. This comes on the wake of Jakes departure of the Play N’ Dine Disney Junior Character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine in September.
Both meet and greet opportunities were discontinued in order to make room for the arrival of Vampirina. The new ghoul on the Disney Junior block premiered in October 2017 and has already made her Disney World debut appearing first at the Disney Junior Jam that takes place during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Play N’ Dine breakfast at Hollywood and Vine.
During the change from Jake to Vamparina, Sofia, Pluto, and Doc McStuffins will still be meet fans in Animation Courtyard. There is no official word yet as to when Vamparina will be joining the gang.
We are sad to see Jake go, as he was definitely a favorite in our house. Was he a favorite in yours?
