Guests residing in the United Kingdom planning a visit to Walt Disney World are in for a very special Toy Story- themed treat! Visitors booking Walt Disney World’s ultimate tickets directly from disneyholidays.co.uk before July 31st will receive an exclusive Toy Story Land MagicBand for every Ultimate Ticket purchased. The offer is valid for arrivals from May 1 – December 31, 2018. It’s the perfect way to the opening of Toy Story Land which premieres at Hollywood Studios on June 30, 2018.

UK visitors taking advantage of the Free MagicaBand offer will need to collect your MagicBands from World of Disney located in Disney Springs during regular operating hours with a collection voucher that you will receive in advance as well as a valid Photo ID.

For package bookings, vouchers will be sent out approximately 14 days prior to your visit. For those with ticket only reservations, an email will arrive 72 hours after booking that will contain the voucher.

Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort is putting together some fun and interactive artist and merchandise events this spring. Through May and June you can find the following events at the Downtown Disney District:

May 5^th, the WonderGround Gallery is welcoming new artists Neysa Bove, and Lorelay Bove. In addition, Leilani Joy will be returning to the gallery with the Bove’s to debut new art to Disney art fans. Visit from 11 am to 1 pm to meet and see the new exquisite works of art.

May 25^th, at The Disney Dress Shop Ashley Eckstein, will be signing her new book “It’s Your Universe” from 3-5pm and then again at the WonderGround Gallery from 6-8pm. The illustrator of the book, Ashley Taylor will also be joining the signing.

Spring Artist Events at Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort

June 9^th, Artists Dave Perillo, Jerrod Maruyama, Joey Chou, and Mcbiff will be at the WonderGround Gallery from 2-4 pm while earlier in the day they will join Max Grundy at Ramones House of Body Art shop in Cars Land to preview their Disney Pixar “Cars” inspired art from 11 am – 1 pm.

Exciting news coming out of SeaWorld Orlando! Construction is now underway on a “Sesame Street” themed land! When the new land opens in Spring 2019, families will be able to walk down the iconic “Sesame Street” for the first time when SeaWorld Orlando brings the world famous street to Park Guests all while connecting them to the fun, laughter, and learning of Sesame Street!

“We are excited to transport our guests into the colorful and creative world of Sesame Street through immersive theming, character interactions and interactive play,” said SeaWorld Orlando President Jim Dean. “Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando is an amazing addition to our park, providing more unique and memorable experiences for the entire family.”

Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando Highlights:

• Explore: Guests will explore the iconic neighborhood as they walk through Abby Cadabby’s garden, visit Mr. Hooper’s store, stop by Big Bird’s nest, sit on the famous 123 stoop and meet their favorite friends from Sesame Street including Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Big Bird.
• Celebrate: Elmo and his furry friends, along with parade dancers will invite guests to join the party on Sesame Street daily during SeaWorld Orlando’s first-ever parade.
• Play: The immersive area will feature exciting rides, wet and dry play areas and interactive experiences designed to entertain the entire family.

“In partnering with Sesame Workshop, we are creating a land for guests to make an authentic connection that can only be found in hugging a furry friend or reading a book with Big Bird,” shared Amanda Trauger, Experience Design Manager for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.

Construction on Sesame Street at SeaWorld Orlando is currently underway. The new themed area will be located on the south end of the park, where Happy Harbor currently stands.

Guests can view the Extra Magic Hours calendar at disneyworld.com/parkhours or request a copy of the printed Times Guide, available in each hotel’s lobby. To use the Extra Magic Hours benefit, guests can create a Disney account and either link their hotel reservation number and theme park ticket or confirmation number on MyDisneyExperience.com, or each guest will need a valid Extra Magic Hours voucher from the hotel and a valid Walt Disney World theme park ticket.

Guests who need to purchase a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket may do so at the Guest Service Desk or the Disney merchandise location in the hotel.
