Starting Memorial Day weekend, you can find Edna at the Magic Kingdom is Disney World. As part of the “Incredible Summer”, she will be over in Tomorrowland at the Tomorrowland Expo to party with characters from “The Incredibles”.

Just before the debut of “Incredibles 2”, she is heading over to Disney California Adventure Park for the first ever Pixar Fest! The iconic super suit designer will continue to favor us with her presence to celebrate the opening of Pixar Pier later this summer.

“Incredibles 2” picks up right where the first movie ended, with Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter), Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T. Nelson), their children, and Frozone (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) defeating a giant robot in a very public and illegal citywide battle. At this point, you may recall that in the first film superheroes are illegal and that’s still true when the sequel begins. This government ban happened because the public got tired of the costs associated with the damages caused by their crime fighting.

But it looks like Winston Deavor (voiced by Bob Odenkirk) and his sister, Evelyn (voiced by Catherine Keener) want to “MAKE ALL SUPERS LEGAL AGAIN!” These two seem to be the most significant additions to the world of the Incredibles. Running a massive telecommunications company, sharing a link to superheroes in their past and with their money, resources and know-how they believe they can change the way the public views Supers and make them legal once again!

Villain has been Cast for the New Spider-Man Movie

Good news all you Spider-Man fans. A Villain has been Cast for the New Spider-Man Movie. Jake Gyllenhaal is set to play Mysterio.

Gyllenhall beat out Ryan Gosling for the villain role. Gosling apparently has a scheduling conflict that made him pull out of the running. A source online: “Producers were keen to sign Ryan but he was busy filming another project. Jake is a suitable alternative with experience of playing villainous characters.”

The 37 year old actor is cast opposite Tom Holland is returning as the web slinger. This is Holland’s second stand a long film in the Marvel cinematic universe. Holland, 21, will be making his fourth appearance as Peter Parker and his superhero alter ego in the film, having most recently appeared as Spidey in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Mysterio is one of several iconic Spider-Man villains created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko. Mysterio made his first appearance issue #13 of comic book ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ in 1964. The first and most high-profile incarnation of Mysterio is Quentin Beck, although several other characters have since used the Mysterio alias.

Shooting on the MCU blockbuster is due to begin in London in June.

When Will Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages Be Released?

If you’re like me you are anxiously awaiting booking your 2019 vacation to Walt Disney World. With so much in store next year it’s hard not to get excited! So many people are counting down the days until they can step into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios and experience the two new rides, one where guests can pilot the Millennium Falcon and a second attraction involving a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

I also can’t wait for the first ever ride-through attraction themed to Mickey and Minnie Mouse called “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway” also opening next year at Hollywood Studios. Speaking of Hollywood Studios, the new Disney Skyliner Gondolas are also expected to be up and running next year that will transport guests through the air between Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, and the new Disney Vacation Club property Riviera Resort.

But the big question is…When can I book Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages?!?!

Although we don’t know for sure when that date will be, we can make a pretty good guess based on when packages were released in previous years.

2018 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released on Tuesday, June 20, 2017
2017 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released on Tuesday, June 21, 2016
2016 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released on Monday, June 22, 2015

If the previous year’s pattern holds true, I would expect Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages to be released sometime around Tuesday, June 19, 2018. But of course, nothing is guaranteed until Disney confirms it.
