Universal Orlando has increased the cost of parking bringing it to $25 dollars. Thats the same rate guests visiting Disney Parks are currently forking over.
At Disney you can use your car to hop from park to park making it a better value. At Universal Orlando the parking is the same for both parks. This has to have a effect on how people chose to travel while staying on property.
With options aplenty guests have to do the homework to see what is the most cost effective way to navigate the parks. Uber, Lyft, on site transportation, and even Disney’s own Minnie Van transportation service are all options to be considered.
This may benefit the parks, that are more than happy to keep guests on their property as much as possible. The question becomes how will this affect guests planning their vacations. Will this mean that extra the added expense will mean one less day of vacation. Will it mean less spending money?
