Tonight is the last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party but never fear, Daytime Park Guests Can Enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas celebrations beginning tomorrow (December 22, 2018) through December 29, 2018! It’s is so exciting! You can take part in the holiday fun all day long. Crowds may be at an all time high, but the celebrations throughout the park are well worth it!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade comes at you live at 12 pm, 3:30pm and on Dec. 25 11am, 3:30pm.

A Frozen Holiday Wish featuring appearances by Anna and Elsa put on a show as you watch the transformation of Cinderella Castle into a Frozen celebration at 6:15 pm

It’s a party in Tomorrowland hosted by Haley Comet with your favorite Pixar pals for A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas: 3:45 pm, 4:35pm, 5:25pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm, 9:15pm

Mickey and pals sing, dance, and fill the air with snowflakes for Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration: 7 pm, 8pm, 9pm and Dec. 25 – extra show at 11pm.

You can enjoy Holiday Wishes hosted by Jiminy Cricket light up the castle with pyrotechnics, lights, and projections at 10pm!

Disney has partnered with Covet Fashion once more, for a holiday inspired delight! The Covet Fashion x Disney Collaboration is celebrating the holidays with a a series of style challenges inspired by the recent Disney film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

Today, Covet Fashion has launched a series of The Nutcracker and the Four Realms inspired style challenges. Players can flex their creativity and get in the holiday spirit with re-imagined looks from the film’s most iconic characters! Some of the characters from the holiday film included are Drosselmeyer, Sugar Plum, Phillip and Clara! Explore these new holiday looks all while collecting new and exclusive Covet Collection pieces like the Soldier Hat and Jacket or a fashionable Inventor Eyepatch.

For players who enter five or more series Challenges, they will get to add the Galaxy Eclipse hair accessory to their collection.

Disneyland Resorts “Operation Sparkle” Brings Magic into the Community.

Disneyland Resort is helping to spread holiday cheer for the sixth year with a little holiday magic. Disneyland resorts “Operation Sparkle” spreads holiday cheer under the watchful eye of the Disneyland Resort parade maintenance team! How thoughtful of them!

The parade teams starts by collecting Toys for Tots-with over 8,000 toys collected this year- and decorating the homes of military families. According to the Mike Montero, the manager of Parade Maintenance at Disneyland Resort, “The team will go down to the Marine base and help families in need of holiday cheer. We decorate their homes and wrap Christmas presents and get their houses ready for the holidays.”

The Disney VoluntEARS will also help by throwing parties for patients at CHOC Children’s and the seniors at Walnut Manor Care Center in Anaheim! The patients receive a day full of fun that they won’t soon forget. The Disney VoluntEARS drop off gifts to residents with Mickey Mouse and his friends! They top off the event with a party with Mickey Mouse and a few of his closest friends, games, cookie decoration and one of Orange County’s longest Yule logs!!

The President of Disneyland Resort, Josh D’Amaro, summed up the Disney mission throughout the year, as well as, the holidays for Disneyland Resorts Operation Sparkle event. “Disneyland Resort Cast members are focused on making the holiday season as bright as possible, for as many people as possible. Giving back to the community has always been part of our culture, and I am proud of our cast members and the impact they make throughout Anaheim and Orange County”.

If you are already a DVC member you already know that this membership has plenty of perks. Well now, there is a new exclusive Disney Vacation Club Dining package available! DVC members can now enjoy dinner, drinks, and dessert at Disney’s Contemporary Resort before viewing the Magic Kingdom Fireworks!

Located at the Contemporary Resort, guests will begin their evening in a reserved seating area at The Wave…Of American Flavors. Approximately 1.5 hours before the start of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, guests will sample pre-dinner delights before sitting down for an exclusive prix-fixe meal.

After your meal, guests will be escorted to the Top of the World Lounge for a special viewing area for the fireworks. Known as one of the vacation kingdom’s most exclusive spaces, the Top of the World Lounge will provide you with refreshing beverages, small desserts and an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom area. They weren’t kidding when they said this was a new exclusive Disney Vacation Club dining package!

This package will be offered daily starting Monday, January 14, 2019 through Sunday, June 30, 2019. However, there are specific block out dates. Minnie Mouse is Amorette’s Character Cookie of the Week.

Amorette’s has been hosting a Character Cookie of the Week for the holiday season, and this week we get to enjoy a special Minnie Mouse cookie in the shape of the icon Mickey Ear Hats, or in this case, Minnie Ears!

In the last few weeks we have seen:

Goofy Hat Cookie (was available Nov. 25 – Dec. 1)
Donald Hat Cookie (was available Dec. 2-9)
Pluto Hat Cookie (was available Dec. 10-17)

This week it’s Minnie’s turn. The Minnie Mouse cookie is a gingerbread base and is decorated with her iconic red and white polka dot dress pattern and stylish bow. Can you spot the hidden Mickey? Disney Jr. Dance Party Begins December 22nd at Hollywood Studios

There is a Disney Jr. Dance Party coming to Hollywood Studios including all of your favorite pal from TV! Starting December 22nd, the party will begin and run several times a day. Starring Vampirina)aka Vee) will also be hosted by Finn Fiesta and DJ Deejay, who will encourage guests to sing and dance to their favorite Disney Junior songs. Disney Junior Dance Party! features music and characters from “Doc McStuffins,” “The Lion Guard,” “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” and “Vampirina.”

The party will be held multiple times each day starting Saturday, December 22, and will feature the star of the spooktacular hit Disney Junior television show, “Vampirina.” This TV series follows the Hauntley family, friendly vampires who recently relocated from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. Viewers delight in watching Vampirina (aka “Vee”) as she experiences being the new kid in town and attending a new school in the human world.

Sindbad and Chandu Teach “Kindness” and “Courage” at Disneyland Tokyo

Today, Disneyland Tokyo is introducing us to the wonderful attraction “Sindbad · storybook · voyage”, which invites guests to go on an adventurous journey with Sindbad to search for lost treasure!

Guests start the voyage as a sailor on Sindbad’s fleet. From there, guests land on Luku Island. Beware… this island is full of thieves! The thieves are trying to rob Eugg’s egg! Watch out though- these babies are dangerous!

Don’t fear… Sindbad and Aibo’s Chan Du confront the bandits to defend the big pinch Luke and the chicks!

Check out Chandou as he jumps on the head of the thief and pushes the turband down covering his eyes!

It is time likes this where “kindness” goes a long way, particularly when someone is in trouble and you need “courage” to confront without fear! The keywords “tenderness” and “courage” are also included in the song “Compass of Your Heart” which flows all the time during the voyage. So pay attention to the voice of Sindbad ♪

New Disney Dogs and Disney Cats Leggings At The Disney Parks

Move over Spirit Jerseys, there’s a new must have Disney apparel item in town! Disney leggings have been spotted at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and we’re obsessed! The Disney Dogs and Disney Cats Leggings have a whimsical print that shows off lots of our beloved furry friends.

These cute and sassy leggings retail for $36.99 and come in a range of sizes from xs- 2xl. As we all know leggings are super comfortable, so it will be hard to pass up comfy and cute when combined like this. Each character’s style is also true to it’s original design, which makes these leggings whimsical and fun!

It also looks like two other leggings styles have released this week as well. I hope we see a whole line of different Disney character and attraction inspired leggings in the future.

You can also find Disney Castle leggings, and it’s a small world leggings available. These Fantasyland inspired leggings have a different style than the Disney dogs and cats ones, but they are still very cute!

“Bao” Disney Pixar’s Latest Short Is Now Available For Streaming! Stop what you’re doing! Do yourself a favor and take eight minutes out of your day! “Why,” you ask? Well, you can now stream Disney Pixar’s latest short, “Bao!”

“What’s Bao?” (Probably your next question.)

Bao was the last short released along with Disney Pixar’s Incredibles 2 this past year. It immediately drew tons of attention given it’s “different” take on a mother’s relationship with her son! By alluding to the evolving events of parenthood as your children grow, through the use of food and culture…even with its confusion…Bao has been nominated for several awards, including making Oscar short-lists.

Through the use of Chinese culture, watch as a mother gets a mulligan at parenthood while dealing with an empty nest. Adorably relatable for parents, this unique story-line is unmatched. Did someone say Margaritas? Count us in! I love a good Margarita and Epcot has some of the best! Choza de Margarita is the new(ish) margarita stand in the Mexico Pavillion. And recently while we were enjoying Pinata margarita we realized something. We have never seen the Pinata margarita before, though we are frequent visitors to the stand. Was it new? Inquiring minds needed to know.

Turns out, it wasn’t new. Just a new name. All of the drinks on the menu have new names and to be honest… We kind of dig them. The Pinata was great! Our favorite, however, is the Mayan Mule!

Mary Poppins Returns has already brought in $4.8 million in its first day! Variety says that the practically perfect movie has lived up to the hype and viewers agree… Nearly 4000 theaters have brought in $4.8 million 54 years after the original Disney classic was released. See what Variety has to say about the film here:

“Mary Poppins Returns” is off to a magical start, earning $4.8 million from 3,900 theaters on its first day of release. Emily Blunt stars as the magical nanny in the sequel, which is expected to make around $55 million during the Wednesday to Sunday frame and a $75 million domestic haul by Christmas Day. December releases traditionally see smaller opening weekends that tend to leg out during the holidays as audiences turn out in droves during the week. It’s the first time since 2014 that a “Star Wars” movie hasn’t carried the end of the year, so studios are hoping a number of titles can help carry the weight.

“Mary Poppins Returns” hits theaters 54 years after the original Disney classic starring Julie Andrews. It takes place over two decades after the events of the first film and introduces some new characters, including a lamplighter named Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda) and Poppins’ kooky cousin Topsy (Meryl Streep).
