Are you looking for a cool sweet treat at Disneyland? Look no further than the Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. They have been serving up some pretty amazing mini ice cream sandwiches. These incredible chocolate chip cookie sandwiches come stuffed with vanilla ice cream. You can even choose between a chocolate or caramel sauce drizzle!

The Golden Horseshoe also has the delicious Dynamite Sundae. This warm, rich triple chocolate-chunk cookie is made with brown butter and topped with hand-scooped vanilla ice cream. To top it off, it’s covered in cookie and cream crumbles, raspberry sauce, and popping candy.

Refurbishment on Main Street U.S.A. Will Cause Changes to Magic Kingdom Entertainment

If you have plans to visit the Magic Kingdom on the following dates in August, please be advised that overnight construction work will cause changes to two entertainment options at the Park. The dates are:

August 2
August 20
August 23
August 27
August 30

TheDis.com is reporting that the following entertainment offerings will be impacted by the Main Street U.S.A refurbishment:

Main Street Trolley Show
Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party

The Main Street Trolley Show will still be performed as scheduled but will be done in the Main Street Ranch Wagon vs. the Main Street Trolley. The 11am performance of the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party will be canceled on the above dates.

At this time, no changes have been made to the daily Festival of Fantasy Parade. The parade currently begins at 3pm but that will change to a 2pm start time later this month.

“Incredibles 2” Passes $1 Billion In Worldwide Box Office Sales

Incredibles 2 Sneak Peek

Incredibles 2 has officially crossed the $1 billion mark at the box office for worldwide sales. This makes it only the seventh animated film in history to reach this mark. For Disney, it is the fifth animated and 18th overall film with these numbers. It joins the ranks of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War.

The film itself happens to have an A+ CinemaScore with a 93% Certified Fresh score on RottenTomatoes. Incredibles 2 has grossed nearly $600 million in the US alone and over $400 million internationally since it’s release on June 15th this year. Between Toy Story 3, Finding Dory and Incredibles 2, Pixar is the first and only animated studio to have released three billion-dollar films!

Incredibles 2 still isn’t done yet. It premieres in Japan today and in Spain on Friday. Italy and Germany will see premier dates in September.

“Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has to be one of the most popular shows at Walt Disney World! From the gorgeous costumes to breathtaking performances, it is a favorite for guests of all ages. And now, Disney is offering two different dining packages offerings VIP seating for the show along with an amazing three-course meal from Tiffins. There is even a package available that gives guests a VIP ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris!

Both packages allow guests to enjoy either lunch or dinner at Tiffins in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Your three-course meal includes one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and your choice of wine, beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage.

Tiffins seasonal menu highlights delicious dishes from around the globe. The appetizer options include Avocado-and-Tomato Salad, Spiced Chickpea Falafel, and Charred Octopus that serve as a grand way to kick off your feast! Mirrored Tiles Removed From Universe Of Energy At Epcot

The building that once housed Ellen’s Universe of Energy ride has been surrounded by construction walls for a while now. Typically meant to keep guests from see unsightly refurbishment, those walls sometimes can’t hide it all. We are finally getting our first glimpses of movement behind the Guardians of the Galaxy themed barriers. The iconic mirrored tiles have been taken off of the sides of the building.

The current building will house the queue for the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride. The area that will contain the coaster itself is being built and will be attached to the back. Guardians of the Galaxy will become the longest enclosed roller coaster in the world when completed in 2021.

Joy of Tea is a very popular stop in the World Showcase at Epcot for tea lovers. This China Pavilion tea cart not only serves up a variety of delicious teas but you can also choose snacks, desserts and specialty beverages. A new addition to their menu is Milk Cap Tea. If you like the Bubble Milk Tea, you’ll love the Milk Cap Tea. This is a Lychee tea topped with a creamy milk cap plus a sprinkle of Himalayan salt.

New Christoper Robin Buttons Available At Walt Disney World Beginning August 2nd

Christopher Robin is set to hit the theaters on August 3rd. In celebration of the new film, guests visiting Walt Disney World can pick up a special button beginning tomorrow, August 2nd. The buttons will be available at the following locations:

Magic Kingdom – Guests will receive buttons as they enter the park. Additionally, Guests with dining reservations at the Crystal Palace will receive buttons.
Epcot – Guests will receive buttons in the United Kingdom Pavilion.
Disney Springs – Select locations and as part of special activities throughout the property.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa – Guests with dining reservations during the breakfast meal period at 1900 Park Fare will receive buttons.

These buttons are available while supplies last.
