'Mary Poppins Returns' Cast and Crew Celebrate the Film All Over the Globe

Have you had a chance to see Mary Poppins Returns yet? No, neither have I! That’s ok, because thanks to D23.com, we can enjoy some of the celebrations taking place as the cast holidays around the world to promote the film!

Take a peek at some of the images as our favorite British nanny has finally made her return to the big screen (last week)! The cast and crew traveled all over, from Europe to the U.S. to not only promote but to commemorate the sequel film to the 1964 original hit!

Through decorated galas, beautiful backdrops, and some of the world’s most prominent cities, Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emily Mortimer, and many others involved with the film rounded the globe in style! Take a look!

No matter where, in Cali, London, or Paris…it looks like the cast had a blast! One thing’s for certain, this has us even more pumped up to head out soon and check out the film!

Disney Story Central to Retire Service in January of 2019

There’s yet another change to be noted coming to the Disney universe. Popular website and app-based Disney Story Central is soon to be no more. The planned retirement of the Disney book collection service affects all users…IOS, Android, and PC. So, those who possess a subscription should definitely take note.

As of January 31, 2019, the system will be caput. Although users will still be able to access their current selections, updates and new materials will not be available. This also includes product support. So, if you’re a subscriber experiencing problems with the software…you’re on your own.

The Disney Story Central site also notes that Disney Interactive will not be held responsible for refunds or credits for virtual items. However, for automatic subscribers…you don’t have to do much in preparation for the retirement of the service. Disney will be canceling the service altogether, therefore you shouldn’t expect drafts from cards or accounts.

As Disney moves towards a stronger future…the retirement of Disney Story Central is another allocated resource that will kick the proverbial bucket. Although some may not appreciate the change, don’t let it draw your attention away from the new and exciting things being offered in 2019!

The new UP inspired ears might look a little familiar, because they have a similar bow to the clip on one available for the interchangeable Minnie Ears. The bow is a see-through and sparkling organza like material filled with colorful puff balls, for an effect that mimics floating balloons! The center of the bow is topped off with one of Ellie’s iconic Grape Soda pins. I still have a hard time seeing those pins, with out getting a little teary eyed! The ears themselves are covered in a beautiful blue sky print, with white fluffy clouds. On the left ear is Carl’s infamous house with strings floating up to the balloons, and ready to be carried away!

Justin Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, are bringing Sexy back in this photo! The photo was timestamped for December 25^th, which means Justin Timberlake visited the Magic Kingdom on the busiest day of the year! Ummm! Excuse me, but my ex-boyfriend is supposed to tell me where he is at at all times, so I can stalk him of course, I mean come on! In all seriousness, I am really sad I missed him. I enjoyed growing up watching him transform in his career and in life.

Located in Town Square Theater guests can pose with the one and only mouse. Which makes great photos opportunities, Timberlake’s photo speaks to that! But, coming in January guests can now pose with both Mickey and Minnie!! The new photo opportunity will replace talking Mickey that was previously featured in Town Square Theater.

Timberlake captured this awesome photo with “New R&B group…Merry Christmas from me, Jessica Biel and that guy back there in the cape”. Seriously, if this was a new R&B group I would definitely listen!!

I am sure Timberlake felt right at home the whole time since he was a Mouseketeer early on, which helped really jump start his career. His career then launched into the boy band, N’SYNC, before breaking off as a solo artist. Now Timberlake is married to Jessica Biel who he has one son, named Silas, with.

Were you lucky enough to see the Timberlake family when Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake visited the Magic Kingdom? Buzzy’s Clothes Were Stolen in August From Wonders of Life

Buzzy from Cranium Command in the retired exhibit at Wonders of Life has been violated! His clothes were stripped from his body back in August reports from the Orange County Sheriffs state. The Orange County Sheriff’s say they are currently investigating the theft of the clothing that occurred back in August. WFTV9 in Orlando is reporting the details of this

Poor Buzzy, who was part of the now-closed “Wonders of Life” attraction at Epcot has been naked and afraid ever since. We reported just last week that he has been stolen all together from the extinct exhibit! What does this mean? Does Buzzy have an enemy out there? The investigators say that someone sneaked into the backstage area that is not currently open to the public and took his red jacket, green cap, and his hands too! The report values the total theft at just $600 but the black market Disney collector may find much higher value in such items.

A suspect was arrested after refusing to hand over his phone and he has been interviewed. They have not made any arrests in the theft itself at this time. The investigation is on-going.

Ohio State Buckeyes and Washington Huskies Meet at Disneyland Resort on Way to Rose Bowl

The Ohio State Buckeyes and the University of Washington Huskies followed tradition and stopped at Disneyland on the way to the 2019 Rose Bowl Game presented by Northwestern Mutual in Pasadena, Calif.

Both teams pregamed by making an appearance, in a ceremony at Disney California Adventure park. Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and Washington head coach Chris Petersen were welcomed by Disneyland Resort President Josh D’Amaro along with Tournament of Roses President Gerald Freeny. After the ceremony, players and coaches from both teams posed for a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible before experiencing the Incredicoaster in the newly opened Pixar Pier.

Representing the Buckeyes were wide receivers Parris Campbell, Johnnie Dixon and Terry McLaurin, and safety Jordan Fuller. Representing the Huskies were quarterback Jake Browning, running back Myles Gaskin, linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven and defensive back Jojo McIntosh.

The teams will face off in the 105th Rose Bowl Game on New Year’s Day. Ohio State finished the regular season with a record of 12-1 and claimed the Big 10 Conference title, while Washington defeated Utah to win the Pac-12 Championship, finishing with a 10-3 record.

Disneyland Paris has just announced that Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger will be appearing at this year’s Marvel’s Season of Super-Heroes, held in Walt Disney Studios park from March 23rd to June 16th!

During Marvel’s Season of Super-Heroes, guests will encounter their favourite heroes in new and exciting ways; from meeting everyone’s neighbourhood hero Spider-Man to experiencing the mystic arts of Doctor Strange. Guests will also be transfixed by the latest in Pym Technology with Ant-Man and Wasp to leaping into action with Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther and Captain Marvel!

Joining Red Skull in this exciting season will be Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Widow who appeared in the first Marvel’s Season of Super-Heroes this year. Captain Marvel and the beloved Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy will also be joining the Avengers this year!

Legoland Is Looking For Part-Time and Seasonal Lifeguards. Though winter is just starting and temperatures keep fluctuating, those in the entertainment business are looking ahead to help you have fun days in the sun in 2019. At least, that’s what LEGOLAND is doing! LEGOLAND is looking to hire ‘model citizens’ to become Part-Time and Seasonal lifeguards at their LEGOLAND Water Park for the 2019 Spring and Summer seasons.
