Legends of Hollywood Reopens with Pandora Inside

The Legends of Hollywood Studios has reopened at Hollywood Studios on Sunset Boulevard. It is a woman’s dream and reminds us of DisneyStyle. They have many trendy tops and dresses not to mention a wide selection of Minnie Ears. If you walk in the front entrance closest to Hollywood Boulevard you will think it’s a Pandora store. They are stocked with a wide array of jewelry including their famous charms. The chandelier in the entryway is simply stunning!

If you keep walking you will run into the rest of the merchandise. In addition to what was mentioned above there is an assortment of jewelry and Loungefly bags. Oh and accessories galore! Definitely a great store to check out if you find yourself wandering in Hollywood Studios.

Born to Polka Performing at Epcot's Germany Pavilion!

Born to Polka, the band is debuting at Epcot’s Germany pavilion, according to Orlando Park News. The show started on Thursday 29th August and guests visiting the park will be able to watch them perform on the Germany pavilion stage on the following days:

Galactic Grill Breakfast Options

The Galactic Grill at Disneyland is getting quite popular thanks to their quick service menu items. However, for all guests who are ready for rope drop at the parks, the Galactic Grill packs a powerful breakfast!

The Galactic Grill is located in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland. This quick service spot is great to grab a bit to fuel up for a busy park day. The grill offers some crowd favorites and some Star Wars treats as well.

For breakfast, you can grab an American Breakfast Burrito or a Loaded Breakfast Sandwich. Both options are great, however, our favorite breakfast item is the powder sugar topped French Toast Sticks. These sticks also come with a side of syrup, which makes them perfect for dunking.

Pair your French Toast Sticks with a Mixed Fruit Cup and an Iced Nova Latte. The Nova Latte is a rich brewed iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk. This iced beverage is the perfect pick me up for any adventure in the parks.

Whether you getting ready for a full day of parkhopping or need to mobile order a midday pick me up, head on over to the Galactic Grill!

Loungefly Designer Minnie Ears And Signing Event

The new Loungefly Designer Minnie Ears will release this week! On Friday September 6th, the highly anticipated ears featuring the popular Mini Disney Parks design will make their debut! Plus the Disneyland release of the ears will also be accompanied by a special meet the designer and signing event!

Guests in Disneyland, will not only have the opportunity to pick up the stylish new headband, but also meet the designer of the limited release Minnie Mouse headband from Loungefly, Nic Cowan! Nic is also the artist behind the classic chibi art style from the very popular mini backpack that the ears coordinate with. Nic will be available at the release to sign these new limited release ears, YAY!

The event will take place September 6th, 2019 from 2:00 PM – 4 PM PST at The Dress Shop in Downtown Disney of California. The ears should follow shortly at Walt Disney World, and shopDisney, no official word if it will be the same day, or later, but they usually release on both costs on the same day.

Galaxy Far, Far Away Espresso Mousse Dome is Out of this World

We went to get the family some pizza after Galaxy’s Edge and, to my surprise, they had a Star Wars dessert. The Galaxy Far, Far Away Espresso Mousse Dome is both beautiful and surprisingly tasty. The espresso and caramel mousse was overtaken by the delicious chocolate ganache. The ganache surprised me with its velvety smooth texture and rich taste. The shortbread on the bottom was a nice touch. The chocolate decorations were sweet but hard to eat with the texture of the mousse and cookie.

This beautiful treat can be found at PizzeRizzo and supposedly also at the ABC Commissary. The cost is $5.99 before tax. Overall a good snack to remind you of the journey you just took (or are about to take) to Galaxy’s Edge.

The fourth location of Club 33 is coming along nicely. The Club 33 construction in Animal Kingdom is taking shape quickly on the path between Pandora and Africa.

Guests in Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom can be easily seen towering above the structures. The fourth location of Club 33 is the only Club 33 construction that has been built from the ground up. All current Club 33 locations were built using pre-existing locations that were converted. However, the new location in Animal Kingdom is built from scratch leaving us to wonder if Disney will expand this location in the future or possibly use it for something else.

Let’s look a little closer!

Even though the green construction walls are up, we can still see the construction going on behind them. Look at how tall this building is! It really makes you wonder what the inside will look like!

If you didn’t want to join Club 33 before, this new construction might just change your mind! We can’t wait to see what this building will look like when completed! Do you think they will try to conceal the club more into the foliage?

Meg Donnelly Kicks Off Disney Du Jour Dance Party in Epcot

Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival officially kicked off on August 29, 2019! Taking in the fun was Disney actress Meg Donnelly helping to kick off the Disney Du Jour Dance Party!

Meg Donnelly is best known for her recent role on the Disney Channel Original Movie “Zombies” or as one of Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing (NBT) alumni. Meg debuted her first single “Smile” in 2018 and quickly rose to #1 on Radio Disney’s Top-50 airplay chart making her the perfect contender to kick off the first weekend of the Disney Du Jour Dance Party.

The dance party is located at the Future World East stage where all guests can find a high-energy good time as a DJ spins chart-topping tunes that will get everyone up and moving! On Fridays and Saturdays, the party gets even better as the party amps up with even more entertainment. Only on Fridays and Saturdays guests will enjoy special Disney character appearances and live performances from Radio Disney and Radio Disney Country artists.

Disney has just released the following Radio Disney Artists that will be appearing on select nights during the Disney Du Jour Dance Party in September.

SmithField, the Radio Disney Country artist known for “We Make Our Own,” will appear Sept. 6-7.

Gabby Barrett, current Radio Disney ‘NBT,’ Radio Disney Country artist and 2018 finalist on ABC’s American Idol. Gabby will perform her debut song, “I Hope,” Sept. 20-21.

Rounding out the September lineup are Radio Disney’s Jenna Raine (Sept. 13-14) and Isabella Nicole (Sept. 27-28).

Will you be attending a dance party during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival? You never know when Remy, Emile, or other Disney pals will be dancing their heart out during the dance parties!

Director James Gunn Wants To Re-Release Guardians of the Galaxy With New Content. One of the many reasons fans love the Guardians of the Galaxy (GotG) films is their cleverly crafted soundtracks, known better by fans as Awesome Mix Vol. 1 and 2.

The films director, James Gunn, and his brother Sean Gunn, are avid music lovers and together have woven the popular soundtracks for the films based off the sounds of the 70’s during their childhood. You may know Sean as the mo-cap (motion capture) for Rocket Raccoon and Ravager Kraglin.

Recently it was announced that Marvel Studios would be re-releasing Guardians of the Galaxy on 4K Blu-Ray and fans almost immediately began to ask if the film would include a directors cut, new or deleted scenes, and possibly new music that had originally been left out due to time and budget. James Gunn welcomed the questions and even took to Twitter to share some insight.

He even shared some regrets about cutting content from GotG Vol. 1 and GotG Vol. 2.

And, notoriously, both Pilot’s Magic and ELO’s Livin’ Thing sequences were cut from the first film (I regret cutting the Livin’ Thing montage, actually).

But there are LOTS of songs I’ve wanted to find a space for and haven’t been able to. Hundreds. I’ve tried numerous @AliceCooper, @Queen, T. Rex & Stevie Wonder songs, for instance, but I just never found the perfect fit. Same with @halloates “She’s Gone” on Vol 2.

Gunn also kindly explained the differences between film terminology to a fan and answered the question the way it was originally intended.

With the re-release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 on DVD with the newly available 4K Blu-Ray edition, it was bound to get folks online talking about the possibility for new or deleted content being added to the re-release. With hindsight it makes total sense that director James Gunn would have some regrets about not including content in the original films, but we still think that the Guardians of the Galaxy films were fantastic and we can not wait to see what Gunn does with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Couple Gets Engaged At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Just a few hours after Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially opened, a lucky couple from Lake City, Florida for engaged!

While posing in front of the Millennium Falcon, Robert took the opportunity to surprise his girlfriend Megan by going down on his knee to pop the question.

The beautiful moment was captured, just in time by the Disney PhotoPass cast members.

Oasis Canteen Reopens with Specialty Cocktails

What used to be Oasis Canteen had both the funnel cakes and adult beverages but has now split into two stands. The Oasis Canteen has re-opened in front of the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and right next to Epic Eats, which focuses on delicious funnel cakes and other treats. At Oasis Canteen you can pick up a range of alcoholic beverages including specialty cocktails. It looks to be at least a semi-permanent fixture.

The Lost Jewel, Snake Alley, and Long Lost Island are all Indiana Jones references and now refreshing cocktails. They also serve assorted beers and a full bar. Drinks range in price from $8.50 to $16.50. This fixture looks to be an improvement in theming from the random alcohol carts that have been popping up in a couple of the parks.

New Disney Scentsy Collections Featuring Nightmare Before Christmas And More

The highly anticipated New Disney Scentsy Collections finally arrive today! The new collections also include the melt warmers! Today on September 1st Disney fans can treat themselves to the new Nightmare Before Christmas, Peter Pan, and Mickey and Friends collections!

Just in time for Halloween is the Jack Skellington melt warmer, and Nightmare Before Christmas Scentsy bar. The warmer is gorgeous and looks like it came straight out of the film! The bar is a cauldron full of apple spiced with clove, and cinnamon for a ghoulish brew.

The Faith, Trust, & Pixie Dust warmer is not only beautiful, it also supports a good cause! For each Peter Pan warmer sold, $7.00 will be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation!

Also arriving are the Mickey and Minnie melt warmers! Scentsy fans have been asking for these since BEFORE the Disney and Scentsy partnership, so these are a wonderful treat!
