Check Out the Alternate Ending to “Toy Story 4”

Check Out the Alternate Ending to "Toy Story 4"

There is an alternate ending of “Toy Story 4” in the upcoming home-entertainment release! Check out EW’s clip HERE.

In the original ending (spoilers ahead), Woody made the heart-breaking decision to separate from his longtime pals. He decided to live an kid-less life on the road with adventurer extraordinaire Bo Peep. In the alternate ending, Bo’s hard exterior melts away as she realizes life is really better with a kid. Bo spots “the kid from the store” AKA Harmony at the carnival. She comes to terms with the fact that the child Gabby Gabby spent most of the movie chasing is actually meant for her instead. Harmony is Bo’s chance to leave her nomadic life and get back into a bedroom where she belongs.

This ending would not make sense in the final version of “Toy Story 4” because Bo and Harmony did not connect much at all in the film. However, we can’t help but wonder what would’ve happened to Woody if Bo opted for a more traditional toy lifestyle.

“Toy Story 4” will be available digitally on October 1st and on Blue-ray October 8th.

What do you think about the alternate ending to “Toy Story 4”?

Disney's First Jewish Princess Will Debut on Disney Junior's 'Elena of Avalor'

Disney’s First Jewish Princess Will Debut on Disney Junior’s ‘Elena of Avalor’. With steps being take to be more inclusive and broaden the range of characters that are rarely represented in mass media, we are excited to say that Disney has announced the first ever Latino-Jewish Princess who will make her debut on Disney Junior’s Elena of Avalor.

The news broke on Twitter yesterday, with guest star Jamie-Lynn Sigler confirming she will voice the mysterious Latina-Jewish Princess, who will be showcased in an Elena of Avalor special about Elena’s royal coronation.

For those who may be unfamiliar with Disney’s first Latina Princesa, here is a synopsis for the series: “Princess Elena is on a journey that began years earlier when evil sorceress Shuriki took her parents and kingdom from her. Now, having defeated Shuriki, the royal teenager is due to take her place on the throne but needs help ruling Avalor — that assistance comes in the form of the Grand Council, made up of Grandfather Tito, Grandmother Cici and royal adviser Duke Esteban. Princess Elena goes on adventures — with wizard-in-training Mateo and magical Skylar at her side — that help her understand the traits that make a good leader.” Elena of Avalor is a spin-off series from Disney Junior’s Sofia the First

We can’t wait to see the first images of this mysterious Jewish Princess, and to see Elena at her royal coronation!

Automated PhotoPass Cameras Take Over Arendelle

Automated PhotoPass Cameras Take Over Arendelle

Automated PhotoPass cameras keep taking over character meet & greets around Walt Disney World.

Anna and Elsa meet & greet at Royal Sommerhus in Epcot is the latest one to get rid of Disney PhotoPass cast members and replacing them with the new technology.

Automated PhotoPass Cameras Take Over Arendelle

Contrary to the Mickey Mouse meet & greet, this popular location only has one camera installed at a very low angle, which might not be ideal for adult guests.

It also appears to be protected by a glass pane unlike the other cameras installed in different locations, while this might be good to keep the equipment safe, it makes it easier to collect dust or fingerprints that will result in lower quality pictures.

The process after taking your pictures is the same as in other locations, you collect your belongings and proceed to scan your MagicBand at the kiosk at the exit to link your photos to your MyDisneyExperience account.

The guests reaction to these changes have not been positive at all, but despite the big amount of complains, Disney doesn’t seem to listen and expect guests to just eventually let it go.

Have you experienced these automated cameras with Anna and Elsa? Let us know about it in the comments below!

Next, we secured our spot for the Frightfully Fun Parade! We got the chance to see all of our spooky favorites in this parade that is exclusive to the Halloween Party. We spotted the Mayor of Halloween Town. Even some ghosts from the Haunted Mansion made a haunting appearance on the parade route!

Jolly Roger Margarita makes Landfall at Typhoon Lagoon

jolly roger margarita typhoon lagoon

At Typhoon Lagoon a new drink has washed ashore.  The Jolly Roger Margarita is a sweet, refreshing beverage that comes in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.  Each version has both classic and blue frozen lemonade topped with blue whipped cream, glitter sugar crystals and a chocolate pirate hat (much improved from Redd’s hat if we dare say).  Be forewarned: the blue whipped cream will turn your mouth blue.  The alcoholic version will also add tequila in between the layers of frozen lemonade.

Both of these were found at the Leaning Palms quick-service restaurant at Typhoon Lagoon.  They were available at the DVC Moonlight Magic event but the signage seems to indicate these might be available during other times as well.  The Jolly Roger Margarita is $12.00 and the Jolly Roger Lemonade is $5.99.

Jon Favreau Wants To Make A New ‘Star Wars Holiday Special’

Star Wars Holiday Special

Jon Favreau Wants To Make A New ‘Star Wars Holiday Special‘. While on the red carpet for the Saturn Awards over the weekend, Executive Producer, Jon Favreau talked with ET about his new show on Disney+, The Mandalorian, and other opportunities with Disney+, including the possibility for another infamous Star Wars Holiday Special.

Jon Favreau Wants To Make A New 'Star Wars Holiday Special'

“That’s my generation. I love the ‘Holiday Special.’ I mean, certain sequences more than others. But I love the introduction of Boba Fett and that rifle that he had. That animated piece still holds up. It’s pretty cool. And I still draw inspiration from that. I would love to, maybe someday on Disney+, we’ll do a Holiday Special too,” said Favreau to ET.

“I would love to do a Holiday Special,” Favreau said turning his attention to the camera to address fans directly: “If you want to see a Holiday Special, let Disney+ know.”

Jon Favreau Wants To Make A New 'Star Wars Holiday Special'

For those who never got to witness the marvelous disaster that is the Star Wars Holiday Special and have no idea what we are talking about, here is a brief synopsis of the special:

“Chewbacca and Han Solo attempt to visit the Wookiee home world to celebrate “Life Day”. They are pursued by agents of the Galactic Empire, who are searching for members of the Rebel Alliance on the planet. The special introduces three members of Chewbacca’s family: his father Itchy, his wife Malla, and his son Lumpy. The program also features the rest of the main Star Wars characters, including Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader and Princess Leia, all portrayed by the original cast. The program includes footage from the 1977 film, and a cartoon produced by Toronto-based Nelvana featuring the bounty hunter Boba Fett. A few scenes take place in space and in spacecraft including the Millennium Falcon and a Star Destroyer. The variety show segments and cartoon also take place in a few other locales, such as the Mos Eisley cantina seen in the original film, and a newly introduced red ocean planet known as Panna.”

The special was not received well by audiences and was never again released by Lucasfilm after it premiered. The only record of the Star Wars Holiday Special has come from home recordings of the special that have since been distributed online.

Jon Favreau Wants To Make A New 'Star Wars Holiday Special'

Though Lucasfilm would love nothing more that audiences to forget the Star Wars Holiday Special, it appears there is an certain low-key following that wishes to see the original re-released, or possibly an all new Star Wars Holiday Special, possibly with the newer characters and the veteran actors.

What are your thoughts on the Star Wars Holiday Special? Should it stay out of the spotlight? Do you think Disney and Lucasfilm should develop an all new Holiday Special for Disney+ or television? Should Jon Favreau head the project? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for all things Star Wars!
