Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus right for my belly with these delicious Santa Waffles! There are so many snacks and treats recently spotted at Walt Disney World it is really hard to choose which I want to eat first! Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day I think we have found what we obviously need to start with!

Now it’s true that everything tastes better when someone else makes it. It is even truer when someone else makes something while at Disney! Guests can enjoy the delicious Santa waffle made for them at Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs.

The delicious Santa waffles feature a festive holiday waffle topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, banana, and strawberries! Yum!

Jaleo At Disney Springs To Host Its First Wine Dinner

This winter season Jaleo at Disney Springs will host it’s first dinner event on December 10. The one night only experience will feature 5 wines and 5 courses with Ontañón a family operated winery in Spain.

The private event will have a special menu created by Jaleo’s head chef Rodolfo L. Guzman and his team that will go perfectly with the delicious wines from Rioja, Rueda and Ribera del Duero. Take a look at the special dishes:

Hinojo: Salad of fennel, tomato, asparagus, and orange dressed with passionfruit vinaigrette
Gambas al Ajillo: Traditional Spanish dish made of shrimp sautéed with garlic
Arroz Meloso con Bacalao: Creamy rice with seafood
Costillas de Cordero con Miel y Romero: Josper-grilled lamb chops with rosemary sauce and honey aioli
Flan Mama Marisa: For dessert a classic Spanish custard with espuma of Catalan cream and oranges

Raquél Perez Cuevas from Ontañón winery is working on carry on the tradition of grape growing in Spain and will delight Jaleo’s special guests with 5 of her family’s award winning wines!

Enjoy the New Crayola Experience Colorful Christmas in Florida

Even Crayola is getting into the holiday spirit this year! Located at the Florida Mall, the Crayola Experience Colorful Christmas will also be providing families with activities for all to enjoy!

The new Crayola Experience Colorful Christmas will delight guests with nine new winter-themed activities at the Florida Mall this year from November 23, 2019, to January 5, 2019.

“For many, the holidays are about spending time with family and creating lasting memories,” said Chris Ozimek, general manager for Crayola Experience Orlando. “That’s what makes our Colorful Christmas event the perfect holiday outing. Like our other activities, it’s designed so that families can play and create together, and leave here with treasured experiences and keepsakes.”

Guests visiting the Crayola Experience Colorful Christmas event can help Santa save Christmas as you go on a themed adventure, step inside a larger-than-life snow globe, and be transported to Hueville decorated in full holiday regalia. In addition, guests can listen to “insider stories” told by Randy the Reindeer who is Rudolph’s cousin’s brother-in-law’s neighbor who’s afraid of heights, Edwin the Snowman who is an avid painter who loves to use all the colors of the rainbow, and Forrest Green the Christmas Tree who’s actually a Crayola Crayon that through Santa’s magic transforms into a Scottish Pine during the holidays.

Before you leave, be sure to craft unique gifts from the heart that will make this season of giving even more magical and memorable. The Colorful Christmas event will also offer a special musical light show at Café Crayola where you can sing classic carols with Scarlett and her reindeer friends.

Magical holiday experiences and beloved traditions await Walt Disney World Resort guests during the most wonderful time of the year. Starting on Nov. 8, theme parks, resort hotels and Disney Springs come to life with holiday charm and excitement as dazzling décor and a flurry of fun immerse guests in a festive fantasy.

Check out these holiday fun facts and discover how Walt Disney World Resort becomes a winter wonderland!

Walt Disney World Resort

The Walt Disney World Holiday Services team provides décor for 780 locations within 41 different properties, including Disney theme parks, resorts, Disney Springs and recreation and shopping areas. The team also decorates Disney Cruise Line ships and Disney Vacation Club resorts in Florida and South Carolina.
41 cast members work year-round to make the holiday transformation a reality, with an additional 119 cast members added during the installation period.
Décor installation begins Halloween night and is finished by Thanksgiving.

Magic Kingdom Park

During the holidays, Magic Kingdom is home to 40 trees, 147 wreaths and 590 garlands that measure a total of 5,188 feet.
Guests can celebrate the season at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on 23 select nights from Nov. 8 to Dec. 22. This year’s celebration welcomes the dazzling new nighttime spectacular, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.”
Tomorrowland Speedway joins in the merriment of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time this year with a new holiday overlay that glimmers with 30,000 controllable lights and stylized décor. Guests racing around the track will spot 12 geometric trees ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall. It’s one of 4 Magic Kingdom attractions to feature holiday overlays.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate the holidays in full for the first time in its history, with enchanting entertainment and décor in 3 new locations.
148 animal-inspired luminaries will cast a warm and festive glow throughout Discovery Island as a merry menagerie of 10 artisan-sculpted puppets resembling winter animals roam and interact with guests throughout the land.
2,600 light bulbs will adorn the DinoLand U.S.A. water tower, giving the land a festive new look for the holidays.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Christmas tree on Echo Lake is 65 feet tall, with a 25-foot-wide base.
Sunset Seasons Greetings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios includes 12 high-definition projectors used to visually transform the façade of the Hollywood Tower Hotel with holiday scenes.
21 palm trees along Sunset Boulevard illuminate with programmable, color-changing LED fixtures.
Dinosaur Gertie is dressed in her finest holiday attire. Her hat is so big, four people could stand inside it!

Epcot

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays takes place Nov. 29 through Dec. 30 and celebrates holiday traditions from around the world through storytelling and music presented throughout World Showcase.
Holiday treats are also part of the festival, which includes 13 Holiday Kitchens serving more than 50 bites from around the world and 60-plus specialty beverages.
The Candlelight Processional will be performed 96 times at Epcot this holiday season with a 50-piece orchestra, mass choir and 12 different celebrity narrators.
The Candlelight Processional stage at America Gardens Theatre features 2 Christmas trees that are each 18 feet tall.

Resorts

Guests will find a life-size holiday gingerbread house in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This elaborate 10-foot-wide,15-foot-long and 14-foot-tall structure is covered with more than 10,000 pieces of gingerbread and is the perfect place to pick up holiday sweets and treats.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is celebrating the 10^thanniversary of its iconic gingerbread Cinderella Castle. This 18-foot-tall display is crafted from more than 5,000 gingerbread shingles, 47 pounds of rolled fondant, 38 pounds of modeling chocolate and much more!
This year also marks the 20^thanniversary of the Holiday Carousel gingerbread display at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This life-size spinning carousel features 20 “Hidden Mickeys,” 5 Peter Pan-themed horses and handcrafted gingerbread shingles.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to the tallest Christmas tree at Walt Disney World. This 70-foot-tall tree is adorned with 16,000 lights and more than 200 custom ornaments.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to a 45-foot-tall tree featuring authentic African décor and reproductions of traditional African masks.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is the epicenter of holiday shopping at Walt Disney World. It’s also the largest of all of the decorated Disney locations, with more than 2,000 pieces of individual décor, including a 45-foot-tall tree.
Each piece of décor was custom designed to fit the classic Florida town theme that carries throughout the entirety of Disney Springs.
Disney Springs is also home to the Christmas Tree Trail, a walk through wonderland featuring 23 unique Disney-themed trees.

Celebrate The Debut Of Frozen 2 A The El Capitan Theatre

We are just days away from the highly anticipated feature film, “Frozen 2”. The El Capitan Theatre will be showing the film along with some fun and exciting opportunities for all to enjoy!

Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre will be hosting a special double feature for the film’s premier on Thursday, the 21st. During this special fan event, guests will be able see a screening of the original film, Frozen. After, fans will continue with a screening of “Frozen 2“. Before the event begins, guests can participate in a special photo opportunity in front of a mural wall. There will also be giveaways and a special appearance from Anna and Elsa!

The next morning, join fans at the El Capitan Theatre for a special Frozen 2 Breakfast and Pajama Party! Guests can arrive in their favorite, family-friendly pajamas and ready for this exclusive screening. A breakfast cereal bar where guests can choose their favorite cereal will be provided. The newest Disney Wisdom Collection launches November 16! The Lion King Wisdom Collection will feature the roaring, soon-to-be king of the pride, Simba! With the Disney Wisdom collection fans can discover a new character, color and quote every month through December!

This month’s collection has a powerful message to it, that teaches us to always move forward. Rafiki’s wise words “The past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it”. As always there is a plush to collect, and this Simba features an enduring quote from Disney’s animated classic The Lion King embroidered on his mane.

Lion King Wisdom Collection Debuts For November From Disney Store

Rafiki advises Simba with his wise words from The Lion King on this limited edition mug. The mug also features an appearance by our favorite warthog, Pumba!

The thought provoking quote from Rafiki is captured as a framed pin in the pin trio for this collection. Simba and Pumba are also featured as pins.

Fans Can’t Get Enough of Darkwing Duck on Disney+. Disney fans of all ages are falling in love with Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+. Disney+ allows unprecedented access to hundred of movies and thousands of episodes from some of our favorite tv shows that haven’t been broadcast in decades.

One such title that has been trending is the noir-styled 90’s cartoon, Darkwing Duck, starring the vocal talent of Disney Legend, Jim Cummings.

Fans on Twitter can’t seem to get enough of the series, some even rooting for a Darkwing Duck reboot. Especially after DW’s appearance in the DuckTales reboot series. Now, let’s get dangerous…

The Magic Kingdom Selects Skippers Of The Year

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park is recognizing two outstanding cast members with some pretty high honors. These skippers have earned the top spot of Skippers of the Year!

Attraction Host if the Jungle Cruise, Jay Friesner, and Food & Beverage Coordinator for the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, Richard Reyes, were selected for this esteemed honor. Both gentleman were nominated by their peers. They were selected for best representation of skipper attributes.

To celebrate this annual occasion, both Skippers now have their picture part of the theming for the attraction and eatery. Thanks to some Walt Disney Imagineering magic, the photos have been aged to match with the 1930s theme so that Jay and Richard fit right in. You can see these photos mounted on plaques in the queue for the Jungle Cruise attraction or on the wall of the Skipper Canteen restaurant.

Guests have the chance to congratulate these awesome skippers at the Magic Kingdom during the holiday attraction overlay, The Jingle Cruise. This famed river boat takes a journey down the familiar Nile River, but there’s no denying the spirit of the holidays. With even more fun jokes and banter, it’s one of the best ways to celebrate the holidays in the park.

Robert Downey Jr. Reprising Role As Iron Man For Disney+ Series

Robert Downey Jr. Reprising Role As Iron Man For Disney+ Series. Though his time as Tony Stark seemed to end in Avengers: Endgame, it appears Robert Downey Jr. is not quite ready to call it quits with Marvel Studios. We already know that RDJ will be appearing as Tony in Black Widow premiering in Spring 2020, but it seems Downey has signed on to another Marvel Project.

Jeff Goldblum recently visited with Buzzfeed to discuss he new show on Disney+, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, and shared that he, and other Marvel actors, have reprised their roles in various capacities for Marvel’s new animated series coming to Disney+, Marvel Studios What If…?.

“I played the part [Grandmaster (Thor: Ragnarok)] again a couple of days ago. I went to the Disney studios and I recorded the Grandmaster’s voice for an episode of a show that’s gonna be on Disney+ that’s called What If…?,” Goldblum said in a video from BuzzFeed. “It’s an animated version of all the characters we know and love from Marvel and this episode included the Grandmaster and Iron Man, so Robert Downey [Jr.] will do a voice for that, and Korg. Taika Waititi had already recorded his voice for that, so yeah, for a couple hours I enjoyed doing that.”

It was previously known that Marvel actors such as Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster) and Taika Waititi (Korg) would be reprising their roles, but news about Robert Downey Jr. returning to Marvel as Tony Stark is a welcome surprise!

Goldblum also shared that he is unaware of the Grandmaster making an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder, but that he is on board if they ask. “We’re talking about it, in fact, I hope so,” Goldblum said. “I love Taika Waititi, he’s a great director and a friend of mine.”

Holiday Snowflakes at Animal Kingdom are Giving All of the Feels

We were beyond excited to hear about all of the new and upcoming holiday decorations that will be gracing the park this year! But, we had no idea the Holiday Snowflakes at the Animal Kingdom would be making such an impact in our hearts!

Guests visiting the Animal Kingdom this year will be able to see many holiday-themed items right away from the giant beautiful tree at the entrance to the park, to the decorations and Arctic puppets that await you inside. However, we have one item that you just might miss if you are whizzing right on by these beautiful Holiday Snowflakes on Discovery Island.

If you look closely you might see the Holiday Snowflakes woven into the garland hanging on the shops and buildings in Discovery Island. However, one thing you might not know is these beautiful specimens were handmade by artisans from the Augusta Training Shop. The Augusta Training shop is a nonprofit organization in Augusta, Georgia that “employs adults with cognitive and physical disabilities, enabling them to discover their abilities and create rich and meaningful lives.”

The Holiday Snowflakes were added after Disney Imagineers recently had the chance to meet the inspiring artisans to hear their stories of the care and attention they put into making each and every snowflake and knew immediately they had to bring the talented artisans to Walt Disney World Resort to personally see their one-of-a-kind snowflakes hanging for all to see at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

How to Request Missing Films and Shows on Disney+

How to Request Missing Films and Shows on Disney+. Though Disney+ is home to hundreds of films, thousands of episodes and shares some of our most beloved and favorite stories, there is still a bit of concern from fans who were upset to learn certain titles have not been added to Disney’s new streaming service. Disney does plan to add more titles at various stages the next few years, but we wanted to share a step-by-step tutorial on how to request your favorite movies and shows on Disney+ so they can be added even sooner!

Check out our step-by-step guide to requesting new films and shows on Disney+:

Step 1: Not ALL shows and films are featured on the home page, or even in the different categories. So be sure to go to the Disney+ search bar and enter the title, the name of an actor or actress, or even which genre you are looking for and be sure it’s not already on Disney+.

Step 2: After double checking that the title is not on Disney+, Go to the Disney+ task bar on your phone or computer and click the “Help” tab. (Note: If you do this with your television it will direct you to use use another device to access the Disney+ website: help.disneyplus.com)

Step 3: You will be redirected too the Disney+ Help Center at help.disneyplus.com.

Step 4: You will be sent to a prompt page with a drop down menu to choose your next action. Simply scroll to “Request a film or show” and click on it.

Step 5: On the next page you will be asked to submit your feedback. If you only want to suggest one title, use the top text box to enter the name of the film or show you are requesting. If you wish to request multiple titles use the second set of text boxes to submit up to three suggestions at once.

Step 6: After you submit your suggestions Disney+ shares a “thank-you” message and you will be returned to the Disney+ home screen.

There you have it! Now you can suggest any missing shows or films you would like to see added to Disney+.
