Walt Disney Imagineering Debuts New Logo!

Disney+ just launched yesterday and it was everything you have been waiting for and more!!

Millions of people logged in for the first time yesterday to take a trip down memory lane with old Disney Channel shows like Lizzie McGuire or Even Stevens.

But Disney+ is not all about nostalgic content, they also have a lot of new and exciting things coming up like movies, shows and documentaries and speaking of documentaries “The Imagineering Story” was the one most people were waiting for.

The first episode covered the story of Walt Disney Imagineering until the end of Walt’s life and their journey to the creation of Disneyland, new attractions and the Florida Project. If you haven’t watch it yet then what are you waiting for? It’s so good!

The documentary wasn’t the only thing WDI premiered yesterday, they also surprised us with a completely new logo!! They said goodbye to sorcerer Mickey and change it to a more simple and retro style.

The new logo features Walt Disney’s signature with a less slick design and a few blue stars on top of Walt’s name. Their website also got a complete new design, you can check it out here.

Walt Disney Imagineering was founded in 1952 by Walt himself, back then it was called WED Enterprises in honor of his full name Walt Elias Disney. WDI is the creative force behind all the memorable Disney experiences that connect and inspire across generations and borders.  It embodies a world class design firm, premiere development company, extraordinary storytelling studio and cutting edge innovation lab all in one. Sounds pretty cool right? They truly make the impossible possible!
