Take a Look Inside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Opening Soon in Epcot

Take a Look Inside Remy's Ratatouille Adventure Opening Soon in Epcot

Disney has revealed the first look into Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in Epcot! The Walt Disney Imagineers have been hard at work developing a new attraction for the park’s France pavilion along with several other new attractions coming to the park!

The new adventure is based on Disney and Pixar’s hit film, “Ratatouille”!   The family-friendly attraction will invite you to shrink down to the scale of a rat for a culinary adventure with Chef Remy as you race across Gusteau’s kitchen floor aboard special trackless ride vehicles.

Look how cute the trackless vehicles are!  The Imagineers captured the personality of Remy perfectly, which you can see!  Imagineers also did a fantastic job with details, as usual!  Look at the details of the kitchen, it really makes you feel as if you have shrunk down with the size of the food all around you.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is one of several new experiences coming to Epcot as part of the park’s historic transformation already underway and is planned to open in summer 2020.

Are you looking forward to this new attraction?

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to Debut in 2021 at Walt Disney World

Star Wars

Star Wars

Breaking news for Star Wars fans! Walt Disney Imagineering just announced that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open to the public in 2021. Galactic Starcruiser will offer a new type of Disney Resort experience unlike anything seen before! It’s a two-night adventure where guests fully submerge themselves into a live Star Wars story of their own!

Journey to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Guests begin their Star Wars adventure the second they enter the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal. From there, you will be brought into an exclusive launch pod that will transport guests to the Halcyon. The Halcyon is the themed starcruiser where guests will enjoy their two-day cruise across the galaxy.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to Debut in 2021 at Walt Disney World

What’s amazing is how immersive this new resort experience is from beginning to end. The pod that transports guests to the starcruiser will have viewports showing space outside. It will look like you’re actually leaving the planet and boarding a massive spaceship.

Part of the cruise itinerary is a “spaceport of call” where guests go directly to Galaxy’s Edge. Because of the emphasis on being an immersive resort experience, Disney will use special guest transports to bring people to the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. The whole excursion keeps you locked in the Star Wars story mode, so entering and leaving Batuu will be a new kind of experience.

The story told between the starcruiser and the planet of Batuu will be an incredible adventure for resort guests. We will post updates on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser resort when more information becomes available!

New Game Show ‘Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge’ Coming Soon to Disney+. Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge is an exciting new game show set in a galaxy far, far away, which tests young contestants’ abilities in the core Jedi principles of strength, knowledge, and bravery as they face thrilling and fun obstacles in an attempt to achieve the rank of Jedi Knight!

Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge brings together the best of Star Wars – competitive spirit, harrowing obstacles and a hero’s triumph over challenges – in a totally new format for the franchise,” said Dan Silver, vice president, Originals – Unscripted Content, Disney+. “A game show set in the Star Wars galaxy is a perfect fit for Disney+.”

The show is hosted by Ahmed Best, who will play a Jedi Master and mentor to the contestants. Known to many fans as Jar Jar Binks from the Star Wars prequels, Best’s unique set of skills as an actor, dancer, martial arts expert, STOMP musician, and Star Wars fan make him the perfect choice as the show’s host and mentor. Best is joined by a hilarious humanoid droid companion, voiced by Mary Holland (VEEP).

Festive Christmas Tree at Disney’s Coronado Springs

Festive Christmas Tree at Disney's Coronado Springs

Check out the new Christmas tree at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort!

The gorgeous tree can be found front and center in the brand-new Gran Destino Tower’s lobby at Coronado Springs. The tree stands very tall and has been perfectly placed as a focal point in front of the picture-windows. Talk about Instagram worthy!

If you look closely, you will see this tree has a gold luxury theme. The ornaments are shiny gold, purple, red, and blue to match the Spanish style of the resort. The tree is also adorned with snowflakes, ornately patterned ribbons, and both silver and gold-dusted poinsettias.

My personal favorite part of the Christmas tree at Coronado Springs is the many lanterns that are scattered throughout the tree. Some of these golden lanterns are more traditionally shaped while others are in the shape of a star. I love how you can see them twinkle even from far away!

Chris Hemsworth’s Wife Claims He Stole 5 ‘Mjolnir’ Hammers From Marvel

Chris Hemsworth's Wife Claims He Stole 5 'Mjolnir' Hammers From Marvel

Chris Hemsworth’s Wife Claims He Stole 5 ‘Mjolnir’ Hammers From Marvel. Recently, Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth‘s wife, appeared on Australian Radio Show, Fitzy & Wippa, to talk about her new book, Strong, and shared details about how Chris has taken a prop Mjolnir home every time it gets a new design/appearance.

Not only does the God of Thunder bring them home, but even leaves them lying around the house. His wife, Elsa Pataky shared, “Yes he always picks the best places in the house, and I’m like, ‘It’s not going there.’ We have five of them from every movie we’ve done, like, seriously, no.”

Chris himself has revealed, not only does he have 5 Mjolnir’s, but he even keeps one in his bathroom. The Avengers star shared the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

“I have five,” Hemsworth revealed to Kimmel. “One’s in the toilet. It’s next to the toilet, if you need some assistance.”

“So, it’s like a toilet paper holder,” Kimmel suggested, shocked at the admission. “Is it really in your bathroom?”

“One of them, yeah,” Hemsworth confirmed. “Often, people stay in there a little longer and I think it’s because of the hammer.”

You can watch Jimmy and Chris discuss where he keeps his hammers below:

Marvel has not shared if the hammers were gifted or if Hemsworth nabbed them from the various Marvel Studios sets, but I don’t think anyone planned to tell Thor “No”, even if he asked.

What do you think of Chris’ home decoration choices? Would you be shocked to find Mjolnir in the bathroom or lying around the house? What prop would you bring home from a Marvel film if you could? AP Magnets

AP Magnets

A pair of new Annual Passholder magnets have arrived at Epcot with the return of the Festival of the Holidays. Annual Passholders will smile upon seeing Chip ‘n’ Dale featured on the face of the new magnets. However, there is something else to look for besides the magnets when you visit Epcot. New Chip ‘n’ Dale Passholder photo op signs!

Certain Epcot Castmembers are carrying Chip ‘n’ Dale Passholder photo op signs. We found a Photopass CM in the France Pavilion with the new Chip ‘n’ Dale signs, which we are showing here. But other locations in Epcot have Castmembers carrying the signs as well for the duration of Festival of the Holidays. The photo op signs are great to hold if you want to display your new AP magnets!

Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays runs until December 30th, 2019. Visitors can experience different holiday traditions and entertainment throughout World Showcase. Guests can also try cuisine offered at Holiday Kitchens or watch celebrity narraters at the Candlelight Processional.
