Prince Harry Tells Jon Favreau His Wife is Available for Work

Harry and Meghan work

I bet you guys didn’t know that the Duchess of Sussex is an amazing voiceover artist according to her supportive husband, Harry!

The two were seen talking to the director of The Lion King, Jon Favreau, Beyoncé and Jay-Z when Harry brought up his wife’s acting abilities. The footage catches Harry telling Favreau, “Next time anyone needs any extra voiceover work, we can make ourselves available.”

Markle then interrupts her husband to joke, “That’s really why we’re here, to pitch!”

Harry even bragged on his wife to Disney’s CEO, Bob Iger, before Markle was hired by Disney for a project. Because she was given the opportunity, she donated to the charity, “Elephants Beyond Borders.”

Other companies are interested in working with the couple in the entertainment industry as well. Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos replied to a question about working with the pair, “Who wouldn’t be interested?”

Who knows what will be next for Harry and Meghan with their recent step away from the throne. Maybe we’ll be hearing and seeing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (as they are now formerly known) in some new movies- “just not Scar!”

Disney Puts Out Casting Call For Peter Pan and Wendy for Live-Action ‘Peter Pan’ Film. The rumors are true! Disney is currently searching New Zealand for their live-action Peter Pan for a live-action remake of the Disney Classic film, Peter Pan.

The NZ casting call was showcased on popular casting site, Cast It Talent. The casting call shares:

The personification of boyhood, a magical youth who never has to grow up, Peter is the undisputed ruler of Neverland, a magical land where pirates and mermaids and magic is the regular order of life. A magnificent and fearless swordsman and fighter who does constant battle with his old nemesis, Captain Hook, Peter is the leader of a group of perpetually youthful Lost Boys (and Girls), yet his own origins, and how he himself arrived in Neverland, remains mysterious — until much later. In London to retrieve his mischievous lost shadow, Peter flies Wendy Darling and her siblings away to Neverland for the adventure of their lifetime.”

For now, it seems Disney is searching for a New Zealand based actor for the role. You can check out the casting call by CLICKING HERE.

Recently taking to Twitter to share their interest in varying titles, primarily show that were featured on Disney Channel during their childhood.

Disney+ is also the exclusive streaming home for movies released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2019.

Check out some of the titles other Disney Fans want added to Disney+. (Hint: There are a LOT of Disney Channel Shows!)

Make Use Of Those Disney Park Maps With These Easy To Make Coasters!

Coasters Supplies
Coasters Supplies

Coasters Supplies

So you just got home from Walt Disney World or Disneyland, you’re unpacking, and you realize that multiple Disney Park Maps have made it home with you – now if you’re like me and you can’t bear to part with anything Disney (even if it’s a folded up, stained Magic Kingdom map), then might I suggest you ‘upcycle’ them into something totally awesome you can use every day in your home?

These Disney Park Coasters are easy and cheap to make, and not to mention every time you rest a drink on one you are reminded of just how magical WDW is!

Ok. So let’s get crafting!

You’ll need:

  • Plain ceramic tiles (I bought these white ones at Home Depot for 13 cents apiece)
  • Felt furniture pads (likewise, these came from Home Depot, $4 will get you 150 of them)
  • Mod Podge decoupage glue
  • Small Paintbrush
  • Disney Park Maps! (For this I used one of each for a set of four coasters)
  • Scissors

coaster supplies

How To Do It:

  1. Cut the maps to slightly smaller than the front side of the ceramic tile
  2. Spread a very thin layer of the decoupage glue on the back of the map, and carefully press to the front of the tile (go little by little when putting it on to avoid wrinkles/air bubbles)

  3. Once the map is positioned correctly on the front of the tile, coat the front and sides of the tile/map with another thin layer of the decoupage glue

  4. Repeat the process for all 4 tiles and let dry overnight

  5. Repeat step 3 the next day, and for the next few days to build up a nice thick protective Mod Podge layer on the coasters (personally I did a good 5-7 coats on each one, and I also coated the bottom of each one a few times too)

Coaster Felt Pads

  1. Once you have your desired number of decoupage glue layers, you can adhere the felt pads to each corner of the back of the coasters (the ones I bought were self-adhesive, as were most of the ones at Home Depot)

coaster finished

And then voila! The beautiful finished product! One for each Park

COASTER finished

The perfect place to set my morning coffee! I ended up making two sets of the coasters– one for my dad for his birthday (which he LOVED and they now sit proudly on his bar!), and one for my house too – initially I wasn’t sure how the mod podge would adhere to the shiny surface of the tile, so I spray painted one set with matte black paint. Turns out, the mod podge stuck fine to both, so I kept the black and gave the plain white to my dad

Construction Update: Walls Are Going Up For The TRON Roller Coaster

We keep getting closer and closer to the grand opening of TRON!

Just last month TRON Lightcycles were on display at Magic Kingdom as a photo op for guests and now on a recent trip to the park we couldn’t help but notice that new walls are going up on what it seems to be the part of the attraction that will be inside.

Construction Update: Walls Are Going Up For The TRON Roller Coaster

The exterior part of the track looks like is mostly completed with still some work left to be done on what seems to be the launch area of the coaster and the concrete floor.

If you would like to get a better a look of TRON head over to the Storybook Circus area in Fantasyland.

TRON Lightcycle is a rollercoaster ride attraction that will allow guests to board a train of two wheeled lightcycles for a thrilling race through the digital frontier and is expected to open in 2021 just in time for the park 50th anniversary!

Take a look at the construction update of TRON here:

The ears are simply gorgeous, and have a very delicate design of Mickey on one ear, and Minnie on the other. The printed design on the ears actually look like they were hand painted on, exquisite! Gorgeous silk flowers and velvet leaves in shades of purple and pink adorn the front.

Disney Cracking Down on Baby Yoda Merchandise from Other Sources

Disney Cracking Down on Baby Yoda Merchandise from Other Sources

Say it ain’t so! It might become a little harder to get your custom Baby Yoda Merchandise. Disney has been putting a squash on sources like Etsy selling The Child Merchandise. Everyone just wants their hands on some Baby Yoda gear! It took Disney a little while to get all their Baby Yoda merch together and on shelves, it is still slowly rolling out now. Meanwhile, people wanted all things Baby Yoda. Disney will be having a line out this March 2020.  Outlets such as Etsy caught on quickly and started mass producing The Child stuffed animals, shirts, socks, ears, etc. So much so that Disney is now having those sites take down their products.

Disney Cracking Down on Baby Yoda Merchandise from Other Sources

Disney doesn’t always do this but with the sensation that Baby Yoda is and the potential profit from him already proving to be massive, they are sending notices and having Etsy remove products that are trying to copy the likeness of the cutest creation dare I say possibly ever. This has messed up orders for some and cancelled orders for others. Some vendors are trying to find unique ways to get around it, and still able to produce items in his likeness, for now. Build-A-Bear has partnered with Disney and just announced they are coming out with a Baby Yoda, so you will still be able to get your plushy plushy. Target also has pre-orders starting for their Disney official Baby Yoda merchandise. “This is the way.” -Disney

While we are all waiting around for fall 2020 to come so we can have another season of The Mandalorian to gush over Baby Yoda about, stay connected with Chip and Co so we can keep you informed on any new Baby Yoda Merchandise that Disney officially rolls out with.

The New Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Enchants Guests at Epcot

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Epcot is undergoing a massive transformation. Besides the Festival of the Arts, there are three new shows that made their debut at the theme park. One of the new shows is the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along at Epcot’s France Pavilion.

This show is quite different from the Frozen Sing-Along show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For starters, the show is entirely on-screen and has no entertainers hosting it. But the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is still a very fun show for its unique storytelling. The show is 15 minutes long and plays daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Palais du Cinema in France Pavilion.

Beauty and The Beast

The New Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Enchants Guests at Epcot

Angela Lansbury narrates the show as her Mrs. Potts character. She retells the tale as old as time with a twist. What’s surprising is that she says LeFou is the one responsible for bringing Belle and Beast together! It might confuse some people at first, but it quickly makes sense. They added new footage of LeFou with him as the unsung hero of this fairytale sing-along. Without spoiling the details, the show has new humorous scenes of LeFou as a matchmaker working behind the scenes during the events of the animated movie. You’ll laugh at the new bits as they transition to the next musical number. The words of each song are placed on screen for guests to join in on the fun of singing as an audience.

The New Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Enchants Guests at Epcot

Beauty and the Beast fans will enjoy seeing the new content. I was caught by surprise with the new scenes focused on LeFou and found it to be a worthy reason to check out the show. We hope you check out the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along to see it for yourself!
