Sinners Haunted House Coming to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood

After a massive 370 million dollar global box office performance and earning rave reviews from both fans and critics, Warner Bros. Pictures’ Sinners is bringing its cinematic terror to life as an all-new haunted house at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. The terrifying, fully immersive experiences are set to kick off on Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Since its theatrical debut in 2025, Sinners solidified its spot as the highest-grossing original horror movie in history, securing a record-breaking 16 Academy Award nominations and taking home four Oscars. Written, directed, and produced by Ryan Coogler, along with Proximity Media producers Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, the period piece is set in the 1930s Mississippi Delta. The plot follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack as they head back to their hometown to open a community juke joint. However, the opening night celebration quickly descends into pure panic when a swarm of ruthless vampires crashes the party, threatening to violently curse the locals in a brutal fight for survival.

“It’s been incredible to see audiences connect with Sinners in such a powerful way,” producers Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian of Proximity Media shared in a collaborative statement. “Now, partnering with Halloween Horror Nights gives fans the chance to step even deeper into the world of the film — to feel the music, the atmosphere and the tension all around them. Watching it come to life on this scale has been really special for all of us.”

The horrifying new maze will transport guests straight into the lively Club Juke, where they will instantly discover that danger is lurking in the shadows as the sinister, red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert, and Joan emerge to feed. While trying to escape the bloodsuckers at every turn, visitors will come face-to-face with iconic characters straight from the screen, including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread. Caught right in the middle of a gruesome battle between the twins Smoke and Stack and the undead horde, guests will have to fight to survive the evening — because the nightmare won’t stop until the sun comes up.

Families staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can now take advantage of new kid-friendly room enhancements designed to keep little ones safe and snug. Guests can request soft bed bumpers that fit seamlessly onto the mattress, helping to prevent young children from accidentally rolling out of bed during the night.

Unlike the older, removable metal bedrails previously offered by Disney, these new bumpers slide directly underneath the fitted sheet. Captain Cacao Meet and Greet Coming to Universal Epic Universe

Universal Epic Universe is about to get a whole lot sweeter. Captain Cacao, the chocolate-loving celestial explorer from Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, is officially debuting as a new character meet and greet in Celestial Park beginning May 22, just in time for the park’s one-year anniversary celebration.

The adorable original Epic Universe character will greet guests near The Oak & Star Tavern, bringing his signature oversized blue captain’s hat, shoulder sash, and white chocolate star along for the adventure. Honestly, he looks like the kind of bear who would absolutely hand out intergalactic snacks while telling stories about surviving meteor showers made entirely of cocoa powder.

Captain Cacao has quietly become one of Epic Universe’s most charming original characters since the park opened in 2025. As the fictional founder and explorer behind Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, his backstory ties directly into the whimsical lore woven throughout Celestial Park. Universal has leaned heavily into original worldbuilding at Epic Universe, and Captain Cacao feels like the perfect mascot for the park’s dreamy, cosmic atmosphere.

This marks another example of Epic Universe expanding its entertainment lineup beyond the major intellectual properties like Harry Potter, Nintendo, and How to Train Your Dragon. While dragons and plumbers may grab the headlines, it’s little touches like Captain Cacao that give Celestial Park its own unique personality.

First Look at New Grogu and Mandalorian Features Coming to Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run

New Details Revealed for The Mandalorian & Grogu Mission on Smugglers Run

The galaxy’s most chaotic Uber job is about to get even wilder. Disney has officially revealed a massive batch of new details for the upcoming Mandalorian & Grogu update coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland on May 22, and this new mission sounds like absolute hyperspace-level mayhem.

The updated experience transforms Smugglers Run into an interactive bounty hunting chase starring Din Djarin and everyone’s favorite snack-stealing Force user, Grogu. After being recruited by Hondo Ohnaka in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, crews will track dangerous fugitives across the galaxy while attempting to recover valuable cargo for Hondo. Because apparently intergalactic crime now comes with performance metrics.

Disney also confirmed that every cockpit role now has expanded responsibilities and more direct impact on the outcome of the mission. Pilots, gunners, and engineers all influence how your adventure unfolds, making this feel much more dynamic than the current version of the attraction.

Pilots will still split responsibilities, with the left pilot steering side-to-side and the right pilot controlling elevation and hyperspace jumps. Disney emphasized that smoother flying directly impacts your score, since collisions damage the Falcon and drain your credits faster than a Jedi at Dok-Ondar’s.

Gunners now get a choice between automatic and manual targeting modes. Automatic mode is geared toward younger guests and casual players, while manual mode allows more skilled riders to aim across high, middle, and low attack zones for potentially higher scores. Missile launches also return during certain moments of the chase, adding another layer of arcade-style chaos to the cockpit.

The engineers may have received the biggest glow-up of all.

In addition to repairing the Falcon, engineers will choose the crew’s next destination after the opening Tatooine chase sequence. Depending on the engineer’s decision, crews can end up pursuing bounties through three different locations: Bespin, Coruscant, or the wreckage of the second Death Star above Endor.

Each location comes with its own storyline, hazards, and visuals.

Bespin sends crews weaving through Cloud City traffic while swarms of TIE fighters attack around massive Tibanna gas freighters. Coruscant throws guests into a neon-filled nighttime pursuit through dense city traffic and tunnel systems. Meanwhile, Endor looks like pure Star Wars nightmare fuel, with the Falcon dodging shattered Death Star debris and massive wreckage fields while attempting to rescue Mando and Grogu from a rogue tractor beam.

Disney also confirmed that engineers can collect cargo crates throughout the mission using the Falcon’s tractor beam system. The contents of those crates change from ride to ride and can include galactic credits, Kyber Crystals, and even baby Rancors. Yes, baby Rancors. Hondo’s shipping department is apparently completely unregulated.

One especially interesting detail is that no two missions will play out exactly the same. Between randomized crate rewards, different destinations, varying bounty targets, and crew performance, Disney seems to be leaning heavily into replayability this time around.

The new mission arrives May 22, the same day The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters, making this one of the biggest Star Wars updates Disney Parks has rolled out for Galaxy’s Edge since the land originally opened.

For longtime Smugglers Run fans, this sounds less like a simple overlay and more like a full systems upgrade for the attraction. For everyone else, it may finally be the update that turns engineer from “button masher in the back row” into the MVP of the entire cockpit.

Bluey’s Wild World Hours Revealed for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Opening Day

Bluey’s Wild World is almost ready to bring some serious “for real life” fun to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and now guests have a better idea of when they can play along. The new limited-time experience at Conservation Station is set to officially open on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, as part of Walt Disney World’s Cool KIDS’ SUMMER celebration, with posted daily operating hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

That earlier closing time is worth keeping in mind, especially since Bluey’s Wild World will not offer a standby line during its initial opening period. Guests hoping to join the fun will need to use the virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app. The first distribution opens at 7 a.m., and guests do not need to be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom to try for a boarding group at that time. Disney has also noted that guests may only join the virtual queue once per day.

The experience will be located at Conservation Station, which means families will need to hop aboard the Wildlife Express Train from the Africa section of the park near Harambe Market. Since this is not a quick walk-up location, guests should factor in the train ride both ways when planning their day, especially with the experience wrapping up before the rest of the park.

Once inside Bluey’s Wild World, families can expect games, activities, dancing, and appearances from Bluey and Bingo. Disney has teased activities inspired by the show, including Keepy Uppy and Magic Asparagus, so little pups and grown-up pups alike may want to stretch before the silliness begins.

Bluey’s Wild World is one of the headlining offerings for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Walt Disney World, which runs from May 26 through September 8, 2026. For families planning a summer visit, this is shaping up to be one of Animal Kingdom’s must-do experiences, just be ready to wake up early, grab that virtual queue, and make your way to Conservation Station before the day goes full “tactical wee.”
