Disneyland’s Disney Vacation Club Lounge Closing for Scheduled Upgrades
Heads up, Disney Vacation Club Members! If you have an upcoming trip planned to the West Coast this summer, you are going to want to make a quick note of some temporary changes coming to Tomorrowland.
Disney has announced that Star View Station – A Member Lounge at Disneyland Park will be temporarily closing its doors at the end of the month for scheduled, routine maintenance. The popular relaxation spot will pause operations beginning July 27, 2026, and is currently slated to reopen sometime in Fall 2026.
While the sleek, mid-century modern lounge—which first opened on the upper level of the Star Wars Launch Bay building back in 2023—is getting a little bit of TLC, you won’t be left completely out in the heat.

Don’t worry about losing your spot to recharge your devices (and your feet!). Disney is making sure its members are well taken care of by setting up an interim DVC lounge space inside the Starcade, located just near the exit of Space Mountain in Tomorrowland.
Even though it’s a temporary setup, eligible members will still get access to many of the same great perks that make the standard lounge a must-visit:

- 🥨 Complimentary snacks to fuel the rest of your park day
The temporary Starcade lounge space will be welcoming guests daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Keep in mind that standard Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge entry requirements and rules will apply to the temporary location, so make sure to have your digital DVC membership card and ID ready at the door.
Because Star View Station is still relatively new, it’s safe to assume this multi-month closure is simply for routine deep cleaning, mechanical checkups, and necessary cosmetic touch-ups to keep the space looking pristine.
While no exact reopening date has been shared beyond the general “Fall 2026” window, we’ll keep our ears to the ground and share updates as soon as Disney wraps up the work. Until then, look for the DVC signs over by the Starcade on your next trip!
