Cars-tastrophe Canyon working with local companies help to create Disneyland Paris’s new Cars attraction

Teamwork is certainly the way forward and what a better example than with local companies help to create Disneyland Paris's new Cars attraction!
local companies help disneyland paris's new attraction

Teamwork is certainly the way forward and what a better example than with local companies help to create Disneyland Paris’s new Cars attraction! As construction continues at Disneyland Paris‘s new Cars-themed attraction, Cars Road Trip, which has been made possible through collaborative teamwork as small local companies help to create this exciting attraction!

Cars Road Trip, promises to transport guests along America’s legendary Route 66 highway, featuring some of your favorite Cars characters! Its quirky décor of automobiles comes to life thanks to local companies help to create Disneyland Paris’s new Cars attraction! It the collaboration between local companies and Disney’s Imagineers who have worked tirelessly over the years! For example, take a look at Catastrophe Canyon from the former attraction Studio Tram Tour. Thanks to the help of the strong collaboration between local companies and Imagineers, Catastrophe Canyon has been rethemed, featuring a blue semi-trailer truck branded Dinoco, the famous race sponsor known to all from the Cars world!

This revamped scene was made possible by Axyon and Carolaux-Paradis, local SMEs – both ‘small and mid-size enterprises’ – based in the surrounding Seine-et-Marne department. A testimony to the collaborative partnership between local companies and Disneyland Paris! Despite the challenges within the last year, Head of Axyon, Phillippe Barbot notes that they have helped “transform a real American truck” into “one of the future icons of the attraction”. They have “designed, built, tested and installed all the required animation mechanics” as well as “used a 250-ton crane to lift the truck into the canyon scene”. This is simply outstanding! Likewise, even though COVID-19, both the companies and Disneyland Paris were able to safely move forward in the reimaging of the attraction whilst abiding by government restrictions.

Another example, is the long standing partnership between Carolaux-Paradis and Disneyland Paris who have worked collaboratively for over 25 years! Together they have completed projects such as the Space Mountain canon and for the Cars attraction, they have been involved in the remodelling and repainting of the new Dinoco truck! It appears as though such partnerships between local companies and Disneyland Paris has been highly appreciative through such unprecedented times!

Guests and Cast Members who receive the COVID-19 vaccine will still need to wear a face mask while at Aulani. As a reminder, the CDC recommends continuing to practice healthy behaviors while experts learn more about the protection that COVID-19 vaccines provide under real-life conditions.

Aulani

As a reminder, Aulani’s mask policy requires all guests and Cast Members ages 2 and up to wear face coverings at all times except when actively eating or drinking while stationary and maintaining appropriate physical distancing. Aulani will also continue existing health and safety measures like temperature checks, reduced capacity, physical distancing and increased frequency in cleaning.

The policy has also been updated to include masks with plastic panels. Face coverings with clear panels are acceptable if they meet certain requirements. Face coverings may have an integrated transparent plastic panel to aid in viewing the wearer’s mouth.

These face coverings must be fabric and feature a solid plastic panel containing no openings that is attached to the fabric on all sides using tight knit stitching. They must also meet all other face covering requirements.

This is not the first time that fans have called for Cara’s termination from The Mandalorian. Her social media posts have generated a lot of controversies and the hashtag #FireGinaCarano has trended frequently over the past few months.

Take Home This Cinderella Castle Cookie Jar Now Available in Disney World

Cinderella Castle and Cookie Jar

Something almost everyone learned in 2020 is that we could all be baking more. The proof? Disney’s latest line of kitchen merchandise is flying off the shelves. This new Cinderella Castle Cookie Jar in particular. Who could blame us for wanting to keep our cookies in this gorgeous castle? It’s almost a shame to eat any and thereby deprive them of living in it!

Take Home This Cinderella Castle Cookie Jar Now Available in Disney World

Available at World of Disney in Disney Springs, they are $54.99 apiece before tax or Annual Passholder discount. If that sounds like a lot of money, remember it’s huge and all your cookies will fit in one beautiful container instead of a bunch of plastic Tupperware. Also, you can save some money by trying a recipe for homemade Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies and keeping them in here! I’m definitely looking out for your wallet here.

The cookie jar is a pretty accurate depiction. It’s the old grey version of the castle rather than the updated pink look. It has all the spires and the appearance of stones all around. It even has the iconic clock that reminds Cinderella to leave the ball before midnight. Maybe it will remind you to stop snacking before midnight so you don’t turn into a pumpkin! At any rate, this cookie jar has been hugely popular, so if you see one you’d better buy it fast because it won’t be there the next time you look!

Florida welcomes Disney to move more of its operations from California

There are rumors circulating that Disney might be moving some of their California operations to Florida due to state restrictions. Chief Financial Officer of Florida Jimmy Patronis says that Florida would welcome this move.

“Disney already has a proven track record here,” Chief Financial Officer of Florida Jimmy Patronis said. “We just like to allow them to grow and expand their business.”

Florida welcomes Disney to move more of its operations from California

If Disney does move some operations out of California, they would join the growing number of companies considering leaving the state. California has some of the strictest COVID-19 measures which have kept the Disneyland Resort theme parks closed for almost a year now.

Patronis connects companies leaving California to Governor Newsom’s leadership. “Gavin Newsom is nonresponsive. Businesses are fleeing his state,” Patronis said.

Moving operations to Florida is an attractive option for Disney. Taxes are lower and Florida has a strong financial record. It is also a safe state with declining violent crime rates.

White House considering domestic travel restrictions for Florida as mutated COVID-19 cases surging

President Biden is considering imposing domestic travel restrictions including in the state of Florida as the number of cases from the new UK variant of COVID-19 is surging all over the US and exploding in Florida.

Many news outlets are starting to post the news:

Outbreaks of the new variants — including a highly contagious one, was first identified in the UK, as well as others from South Africa and Brazil that now have scientists worried that they can evade existing vaccines. This has lent urgency to a review of potential travel restrictions within the United States, one federal official said.

“There are active conversations about what could help mitigate spread here, but we have to follow the data and what’s going to work.

“But we’re having conversations about anything that would help mitigate spread,” the official said, referring to discussions about new travel restrictions that could target the spread of the U.K. mutation in Florida.

Sony Offers ‘Kraven the Hunter’ Role to Keanu Reeves for ‘Spider-Man’ Spinoff

Sony Offers 'Kraven the Hunter' Role to Keanu Reeves for 'Spider-Man' Spinoff

Sony Offers ‘Kraven the Hunter’ Role to Keanu Reeves for ‘Spider-Man’ Spinoff. Keanu Reeves has been on Marvel Studios’ radar for quite some time and has reportedly been offered several roles within the MCU, but it seems Sony is throwing their hat into the ring and has made an offer for Matrix and John Wick actor to make his Marvel premiere as Kraven the Hunter.

It’s been widely known for months that Sony is developing a Kraven the Hunter film that will act as a spinoff from the live-action Spider-Man films, and now we know that the studio hopes to secure Reeves in the leading role, but if Kevin Feige has anything to say about it, there is a good chance Keanu and his representatives will pass on Sony’s offer.

Feige himself has shared he has been in contact with Reeves for years as they approached various MCU projects and that both camps want to work together, but in the right role for Keanu.

Would you like to see Keanu Reeves as Kraven The Hunter? What other roles could you see Reeves in for Marvel? We would love to hear your thoughts and theories in the comments. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!

Tom Holland Claims Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are NOT in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming 3’

Tom Holland Claims Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are NOT in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming 3'

Tom Holland Claims Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are NOT in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming 3’. Despite sightings and rumors that heavily suggest otherwise, actor Tom Holland has shared that rumors he will be joined by the other Spider-Men from the live action films are false and he has no knowledge of their reported involvement.

His claim comes in an interview with Esquire about his career so far and while promoting his new film, Cherry, from Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame Directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

“No, no, they will not be appearing in this film,” Holland told Esquire, “Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”

Now, it is widely believed that this is an intentional “red herring” by Marvel Studios, who are hoping to quell the rumors of an MCU based Spider-Verse. To support our theory, it should be known that this would not be the first time Marvel Studios has purposefully not shared crucial information with Holland or have had him lie to the press as a means to cover their trail and throw off the scent for the MCU films. The studio has gone so far as to give Holland fake scripts in multiple and varying copies to prevent spoiler leaks.

“They do it all the time,” Holland explained, “In [Endgame], Robert Downey Jr.’s funeral scene, for the longest time I was under the impression that it was a wedding. I’m 100 percent sure that they’re still tricking me.”

With Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, and reportedly Willem Dafoe reprising their roles as the iconic villains Electro, Doc Oct, and Green Goblin, it is VERY hard to believe Holland would have to face off with these villains alone. So, take Tom’s comment with a grain of salt and stay excited for the new Spider-Man film!
