The fun repeating print pattern on the the Streamline Crossbody and Streamline Backpack feature beloved Disney friends on favorite attractions from the parks! The beautiful blue background with pixie dust really makes the character designs pop too.

Mickey and Minnie frolic through the parks on the Medium Streamline Tote. Icons like Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, and more also rise in the horizon on the background of the bag.

My favorite bag is probably the convertible circle bags! There’s one for each Resort, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It also has a fun little spinner to help you decide which park to visit too!

Americans may be able to visit Disneyland Paris this summer

Americans may be able to visit Disneyland Paris this summer

Disneyland Paris is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Americans may be able to visit the parks in France this summer.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Americans who are vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test may be able to visit France as early as this summer. “We will progressively lift the restrictions of the beginning of May, which means that we will organize in the summertime with our professionals in France for French European citizens, but as well for American citizens,” said Macron. “So we are working hard to propose a very concrete solution, especially for U.S. citizens who are vaccinated, so with a special pass, I would say.”

Americans may be able to visit Disneyland Paris this summer

While there is no “special pass” for U.S. citizens currently in the works, there is a European one. The European Union plans to have a digital green certificate that will contain proof that an individual has either been fully vaccinated against COVID or received a recent negative test result or have recovered recently from Covid-19.

“And the idea indeed is altogether to offer that to the American citizen when they decided to vaccinate or with a PCR test being negative. So the idea is indeed to always control the virus, to maximize the vaccination and to progressively lift the restrictions,” said Macron.

So, guests who have been vaccinated, get a negative test result, or have recently recovered from COVID could visit Disneyland Paris as early as this summer! Provided the parks have reopened again.

Should Spirit of Aloha Reopen with a new Moana Theme– We recently had a first look at the newly refurbished Moana-inspired rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The rooms look amazing! The Moana theming really fits in with the style and aesthetic of the Polynesian. This leaves us wondering if we are going to see characters from the hit movie in other places. Petition Calls for Disney to Create a Movie with a Positive Role for Stepmothers

Lady Tremaine from Cinderella and the Wicked Stepmother from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Petition Calls for Disney to Create a Movie with a Positive Role for Stepmothers. Kelsea Laegreid is looking to bring a more accurate and positive twist to the stereotypical depictions of stepmothers, and it’s about time! Recently, Kelsea sat down with her young son to watch a movie until she realized the film, like many others, painted the stepmother to be “cruel and evil”. Wanting to make a positive change in media for families who come in all shapes and sizes.

Related: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Cinderella’ Coming to Disney+ This Month

Kelsea’s petition reads:

Even though it’s 2020 and families of all shapes and sizes are accepted by most, stepmothers are still portrayed as cruel, evil villains in popular culture. Stepmothers are characterized in movies and books as willfully ignoring their stepchildren in the best case or denigrating and abusing them in the worst case.

Recently, I sat down with my cuddly 5yo stepson to watch a classic Disney movie that was one of my favorites from childhood. Five minutes in, it occurred to me that I would be introducing my son to an evil stepmother character and quickly changed movies. In response to my answer as to why I changed the movie, my son replied something to the effect that “stepmothers can be mean in movies.” It broke my heart that there was no similar movie I could turn to to reinforce the message that stepmothers can also be nice and loving in movies.

Walt Disney Pictures (“Disney”) has perpetuated this stereotype in countless movies over the past 80 years – including several since 2010. If Google results are any indication trends and general popular beliefs, these are the titles of the top 3 results from a search of “Disney+stepmother”:

– Top 5 Evil Stepmothers in Animated Movies (https://www.liveabout.com/top-evil-stepmothers-in-animated-movies-2421061

While Disney is not the only film studio to regularly portray the “evil stepmother”, they should be the first to promote stepmothers in a positive light. Disney movies and stories have set the tone throughout recent history by creating iconic characters that live for decades and beyond. Children are typically introduced to Disney movies at a young, impressionable age and these movies inform fundamental beliefs that can last a lifetime. Disney could help stem negative stereotypes and help support children’s understanding of blended families.

Please join me in asking Disney to produce a major animated film that we can enjoy with our (step) kids that includes a supportive stepmother role. Thank you!
