When Walt Disney World reopened last summer, the parks implemented new health and safety measures. One of those measures was physical distancing at dining locations. Some tables were marked as unavailable in order to allow guests to dine safely. Now, those markers have been removed from outdoor dining areas.
Now, all tables at outdoor dining locations are open for guests to use. Tables were also previously spaced out. They are now not any more distanced than they were pre-pandemic.
Physical distancing is still in place inside dining locations. Signs and stickers are still present at select tables inside the restaurants indicating which ones are not open for guests.
This is not the first step Disney World has taken to move towards more normal operations. The parks have reduced physical distancing in other areas, done away with temperature screening, and allowed for guests to remove masks while outdoors.
What do you think about the reduced physical distancing at outdoor dining areas?

Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are all free from closures and refurbishments as of now. Will you be visiting Walt Disney World this summer? There’s still time to plan your trip! Contact me today for a free, no-obligation vacation quote.
An all-new Documentary Series is coming to Disney+ next month, “Behind The Attraction” takes us behind the scenes of some of our favorite Disney Park Attractions.
Since 1955, when Disneyland first opened its doors, the rides and attractions have been impacting generations in such a fun and magical way around the world. This first-of-its-kind series will bring you behind the scenes to experience and celebrate how these beloved attractions creatively came to be.
The series will be 10 episodes with each episode about an hour long. Viewers will be given an exclusive glimpse “behind the curtain” of some of Disney’s most popular attractions by speaking directly with Walt Disney’s Imagineers and other creative minds involved.
Pride Month is here! To celebrate you can now find lots of Disney Pride Gear at the Disney Parks, shopDisney, and other retailers! PLUS! This year for the Halloween season Magic Kingdom will be hosting an after hours event. Disney After Hours Boo Bash will take place on select nights from August 10 through October 31. We now know more about the decor, characters, and attractions that will be available during the event!
Special décor, lighting and music set the tone for a not-too-spooky good time. In addition to deliciously devilish decorations, you’ll find many Disney Characters in full Halloween dress and themed lighting that casts Cinderella Castle in a spectral glow. All this plus Halloween-themed music throughout the park ensures a frightfully fun night!
Since reopening, Walt Disney World has replaced parades with character cavalcades. Disney After Hours Boo Bash will feature three Halloween-themed cavalcades.
Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade: Delight as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and pals—dressed in hauntingly boo-tiful Halloween costumes—parade through the park in this musical procession.
Disney Villain Halloween Cavalcade: Behold a legion of villains— unleashed to revel in this sinister season. Gaston leads the way, followed by fellow fiends like Dr. Facilier, the Queen of Hearts and Jafar, celebrating just how wonderful it is to be wicked.
Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade: Prepare for a procession worthy of the Pumpkin King! Jack Skellington—along with Sally and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas—take to the streets to share thrilling, chilling tricks and treats!
And last (but definitely not least!), Maleficent will also make an appearance in the form of a fire-breathing dragon!
Enjoy character sightings and catch a performance by the Cadaver Dans. Character sightings will occur across the park, so be on the lookout! You could see:
Goofy
Chip ‘n’ Dale
Miss Carlotta, Miss Renatta and Broome the Butler at the Haunted Mansion
Foulfellow and Gideon
And be sure to catch the Cadaver Dans as they make a special comeback (from the dead) appearance. These spooky songsters emerge from their tombs for a cappella performances. You won’t want to miss this—it’s to die for!
Guests will enjoy shorter waits at over 20 Magic Kingdom attractions. Disney After Hours Boo Bash lets a limited number of guests experience the park for an additional 3 hours after it closes. That means less waiting in line at popular experiences like Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain!
Some of the Many Attractions Open During the Event:
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Jungle Cruise
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Haunted Mansion
Peter Pan’s Flight
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Avengers Campus opens in Disney California Adventure in just a few days and last night fireworks were spotted over the new land. Fireworks have not been seen at Disneyland since before the pandemic closure last March.
Avengers Campus opens to guests on Friday, June 4. The opening ceremony for the Marvel-themed land is happening tonight, June 2. The fireworks seen last night could’ve been a test for tonight’s event.
Another Instagram account, thecalibae, posted a full video on their firework viewing experience on YouTube. You can watch the video below:
The fireworks were quick but it’s so exciting to see them at a Disney park again! We hope this means Disney will bring back fireworks as regular entertainment soon.
‘WandaVision’ and ‘Avengers’ Star Paul Bettany Does Not Have an Active Contract with Marvel Studios. Though it seems impossible for Marvel Studios to not have a plan for Paul Bettany now that White Vision has been introduced at the end of the WandaVision series, it seems that Marvel Studios is keeping him in the dark about the future of the MCU.
It comes as no surprise that Marvel would be keeping a tight lip about any future plans for Vision in the MCU. Marvel Studios is known to keep the “master plan” for future projects out of the eyes and ears of their cast members until absolutely necessary.
When asked about any future appearances, Bettany shared with ThePlaylist., “I’m honest with you. I still don’t know (if there are more opportunities in the MCU). Oh no, no. I don’t have a contract. I don’t know that. I don’t know that at all. And all that I do know is, as far as this sort of traunch of press goes, it’s for an Emmy push, which is for a limited series. So it doesn’t look like that happening again. I mean, I guess it would be difficult to introduce White Vision and not deal with him in some way, but we have not discussed that.”
When previously asked about his role as Vision, Bettany shared, “I love to play the vision. I would absolutely love to go on in any shape or form in the universe. I love this character and I think, as you will see when you see this, anything is possible. We can do all kinds of Breaking the rules. It’s very rich storytelling and there are lots of ways to tell all kinds of stories. I love being in it and it’s been a ride of a lifetime.“
Want to see more from Paul Bettany in the MCU? Iron-Man 1-3, The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and WandaVision are currently available to stream exclusively on Disney+. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
