2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Decor is on center stage today. Guide map of Epcot, Check. Festival Passport, Check! Opening Day of Food & Wine here we come. We got some stunning images of walking around Epcot on the first day to share with you.
Remy is featured around the Park as usual for Food & Wine, gracing the cover of the Passport. Don’t forget to pick up your passports at Festival merchandise locations. Remember to grab your Emile’s Fromage Montage. Also, Remy and Emile are spotted to the left and right respectfully of the entrance sign. You can see the images below.
So far one of our favorite Epcot International Food & Wine décor pieces is Remy placing a cherry on top of a Giant Sundae, which is located closer to the entryway of World Showcase. Further along the walkway you can also spot platforms with various figures and images in the same blue/teal orange/mandarin color scheme.
Stay tuned, as we bring you more information and reviews of Epcot’s Food & Wine 2021. We are excited to be spending the day at the park trying out all the new dishes and exploring the new food booths.
We also got to see some of the cool signage hanging around the World Showcase. Staring the cast of Ratatouille.
We also spotted the new picnic area located on the backside of Imageworks, next to the bathrooms and Traveler’s Café. The area was a kid’s play zone, where Pooh use to chase Butterflies.

This Saturday, July 17, Disneyland Resort workers and Service Employees International Union – United Service Workers West members will be protesting near the Happiest Place on Earth.
Protesters are accusing Disney of reaping billions in tax breaks while giving its cast members the short end of the stick. The theme parks at the resort have reopened but 40% of the cast members laid off or furloughed due to the pandemic have still not been recalled.
Union president David Huerta said, “It’s frustrating that an employer who received $1.6 billion in Trump-era tax breaks, and whose stock is hitting all-time highs, has not gotten the memo that the cost of labor — and of everything else — has gone up.” He also said that Disney hasn’t offered wages better than “poverty wages” in contract negotiations.
The lowest starting wage at the Disneyland Resort is $15.45 per hour compared to California’s $14 minimum wage. Disney also has been paying for health benefits for furloughed workers for more than a year. A coalition of 11 unions wants base wages to be raised to $20 per hour.
The union protest this weekend, “Rally to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder for a Fair Contract and Against Corporate Greed” will begin at 11 a.m. and take place at 1560 S. Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim, across from the main park entrance.

Disney has shared with us a first look at the first 50th Anniversary ‘Disney Fab 50’ Sculpture that will be on display at Walt Disney World. These sculptures will highlight 50 fabulous Disney characters and will be cast in gold and displayed across the Disney theme parks.
Today we have more details on the “Disney Fab 50” series, including a special reveal of the first sculpture – Mickey Mouse!
During the magical celebration, which begins on Oct. 1st, you’ll be able to find these golden character sculptures throughout all four of the Resort’s parks. And leading up to their appearances, friends from around the Disney company will be announcing which characters you can expect to see – starting today with Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse.
The Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse sculptures are also being dedicated to Disney cast members of the past, present and future. After all, Disney Cast Members – along with Mickey and Minnie- are truly considered the heart of the upcoming anniversary celebration.
Mickey is the first, and other character sculptures will be announced in the upcoming weeks by Disney friends, including Walt Disney World, Disney+, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, D23, Disney Channel, NatGeoTV, Disney Vacation Club and more.
You can also virtually “collect” each golden Disney character sculpture on Instagram. To add a sculpture to Instagram Collections, just tap and hold the bookmark icon. Then, on the “Save to” screen, tap the collection where you want to save the image or create a new collection. Happy hunting!
