Characters from ‘Loki’ Series Reportedly Joining the Cast of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, several actors from the Loki series will be reprising their roles for the upcoming MCU title, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. THR shared that both Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson are currently set to appear in the new Marvel movie as Loki and Mobius.
It is currently unknown how involved the characters will be, and this is the first news indicating the stars would be featured in any capacity with the Doctor Strange sequel, so be sure to take this news with a grain of salt until an official casting announcement is made by Marvel Studios.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will star Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) and Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch) with Benedict Wong (Wong), Rachel McAdams (Dr. Christine Palmer), and Chiwetel Ejiofor (Karl Mordo) set to return in their respective roles for the sequel. The cast is joined by newcomer Xochitl Gomez who will be playing America Chavez in her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. If the rumors are true, Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Owen Wilson (Mobius) will be joining the cast as well.
