We recently spotted cast members conducting EPCOT Parking Lot Tram Testing
Great news Disney fans: the long trek from your car to the entrance of EPCOT is soon going to get much easier. EPCOT Parking Lot Tram Testing is underway, with the trams slated to return to the park soon.
We spotted the trams make some test laps in the EPCOT parking lot on Labor Day. Disney recently announced the trams are coming back to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Tram service at the parks has not be available at either park since they closed due to COVID. The walk from the EPCOT parking lot to the park entrance can be quite a long one, especially at the end of a long day walking around the World Showcase, making the return of the trams a welcomed site for guests.

EPCOT Fireworks Testing to take place after hours on September 10
Guests and residents staying near EPCOT will want to keep their eyes toward the sky’s on September 10th, as it looks like Disney will be doing some after-hours testing for the all-new fireworks show that is coming soon.
Disney alerts local residents and hotel guests of the testings, since they take place starting around 11pm and can run through 1 am.
This testing is not expected to include any other audio elements, and we do not know if this is for the new show or if it is testing for visual elements that are part of EPCOT Forever.
EPCOT Forever is the current fireworks show at EPCOT that invites you to witness the wonder as the story of EPCOT and its next incredible chapter come to life in this nighttime spectacular. Behold the single “spark of imagination” that started it all. Watch it grow, evolve and transform into a nighttime extravaganza that stirs the senses and captures all you love about EPCOT and all that’s to come.
EPCOT Forever returned after Harmonious was recently retired following the conclusion of the 50th anniversary celebration. A new fireworks show is coming to EPCOT, although details about the show, and a release date, have not yet been released by Disney.

Disney Releases a Statement on Dispute Between Disney-Owned Channels and Charter/Spectrum
Labor Day weekend traditionally stands as one of the year’s most prominent sports weekends, marked by the eagerly awaited return of college football and the thrilling tennis showdowns of the US Open.
Regrettably, this holiday weekend has been far from typical for the millions of Spectrum cable subscribers. ESPN and other Disney-owned channels, including ABC, have vanished from their screens due to an ongoing disagreement between Spectrum’s parent company, Charter Communications, and Disney Entertainment.
Such disputes between cable providers and content creators have occurred in the past. However, the perplexity and frustration experienced by countless consumers are palpable as this clash disrupts a major television event. To navigate through the complexities, here are key considerations to keep in mind as this dispute unfolds during one of the year’s most significant TV weekends:
Losing ESPN is a major issue for consumers since it’s one of the most popular channels. In fact, ESPN aired more than half (53) of the top cable 100 telecasts in Charter homes during the past year, per Nielsen, the leading audience measurement, data and analytics company. That includes all 5 of the top 5.
In the average month, 71% of Charter subscribers tune into Disney’s networks or stations. In fact, Charter subscribers watched more than 3.3 billion hours of content on Disney networks and stations over the past year, according to Nielsen.
Although Charter claims that they value their customers, they declined Disney’s offer to extend negotiations which would have kept Disney-owned networks up for consumers in the middle of perennial programming events like the US Open and college football.
Even though Charter also claims to value Disney’s direct-to-consumer services, the cable company is demanding these different services for free—as they have stated publicly—which does not make economic sense. Moreover, it does not make sense for consumers who desire the flexibility to have our streaming platforms as standalone services.
Labor Day weekend is supposed to be one of the more relaxing holidays of the year in the U.S. Unfortunately, Charter has made it a stressful one for its customers—many of whom have been experiencing up to three-hour hold times to cancel their cable subscription after Disney’s networks went dark.
Disney deeply values its relationship with its viewers and is hopeful Charter is ready to have more conversations that will restore access to its content to Spectrum customers as quickly as possible.
Consumers should also know that they have many options today and can choose from competing pay TV providers that offer Disney’s entire portfolio of networks and programming, as well as TV streaming services that can be accessed by downloading an app or over a broadband connection.

How I Met Your Father with Hilary Duff Canceled After Two Seasons
After two seasons at HULU, How I Met Your Father, has been canceled. The series was narrated by Kim Cattrall who was recounting the journey of finding his dad and reliving the antics she and her friends experienced during her dating years. The show starred Hillary Duff as a younger Sophie, Chris Lowell as Jesse, Francia Raisa as Valentina, Tom Ainsley as Charlie, Tien Tran as Ellen, and Suraj Sharma as Sid.
How I Met Your Father follows the life and romantic adventures of Sophie, a young woman living in New York City in the near future. As she navigates the ups and downs of dating in the modern world, she regales her son with the story of how she met his father.
The story begins with Sophie recently separated from her husband and looking to start over in the dating scene. She leans on her close-knit group of friends for support and advice, including her best friend Jesse, the optimistic and carefree Nick, the cynically charming Valentina, and Charlie, Jesse’s husband. How I Met Your Father featured cameos from the original cast of How I Met Your Mother including Cobie Smulders reprising her role as Robyn and Neil Patrick Harris returning as Barney Stinson. Entertainment Tonight sat down with the show’s star back in February to discuss working with Neil Patrick Harris.
Duff said, “I was really nervous to work with NPH. He’s just such a stud. He’s legendary. Everything he does is, if he’s hosting something or he’s got a TV show on the air or he’s doing Broadway, he’s just fantastic. And so the fact that he said yes made us really excited,” Duff added. “And obviously, our goal is to hopefully collect them all.”
How I Met Your Father will sadly never have a chance to “collect them all” as the show has come to an end.
How I Met Your Father had 10 episodes in the first season and then received a 20 episode order from HULU for season 2. The show was set in the same universe as the original CBS Comedy which ran from 2005-2014. How I Met Your Father has not been picked up by another network as of the date of this article. Fans of the How I Met Your… franchise will now get to mull over which show’s outcome is worse; the disappointment of How I Met your Mother, or the lack of conclusion of How I Met Your Father.

Disney’s Lorcana Second Chapter Will Include Raya, Winnie The Pooh, and More
In the upcoming second chapter of Disney Lorcana, fans can anticipate the introduction of beloved characters from “Raya and the Last Dragon,” “Winnie the Pooh,” and the addition of even more characters from “Mulan.”
While we’ve only recently experienced the first chapter of Disney Lorcana, it’s already time to ignite our excitement for the game’s future. Just yesterday, the French board game shop Ludivers unveiled a range of products from Lorcana’s second chapter, seemingly providing a glimpse into the new characters that will grace the game.
Ravensburger, the game’s creator, has confirmed the accuracy of much of the information found in these listings. This includes the anticipated hobby store release date of November 17th (with mass retail release on December 1st), the introduction of two starter decks, and the incorporation of animated characters from beloved franchises such as “Winnie the Pooh,” “Mulan,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “Raya and the Last Dragon” into the game’s accessories.
While the listings don’t divulge all the details, it’s worth noting that the deck boxes and playmats will prominently feature several new characters. According to Ludivers, the deck boxes will showcase Sisu (from “Raya and the Last Dragon”) and Mulan, while the playmats will prominently display Beast and Winnie the Pooh. It’s worth mentioning that both Sisu and Winnie the Pooh are newcomers to the world of Disney Lorcana, although fans of the first chapter will recall the presence of Tigger, which established the inclusion of Winnie the Pooh characters in the game.
Sisu marks the freshest addition to Disney Lorcana, with her debut in “Raya and the Last Dragon” in 2021. Prior to this, “Moana” held the distinction of being the most recent franchise to make its way into Lorcana, with its release dating back to 2016.

Disneyland Monorail Reopens Following Two-Month Long Refurbishment
The Disneyland Monorail recently reopened after being closed for a two-month long refurbishment. Disneyland Resort’s “highway in the sky” was closed from July 5 to August 31. Guests can once again take a ride around the Disneyland Resort on the famous monorail!
The refurbishment involved track work, power washing the track, and updating the monorail station in Downtown Disney. While on the monorail, we noticed the ride was a lot smoother than before the refurbishment.
The Disneyland Monorail has two stations. One in the Downtown Disney District and another in Tomorrowland. Guests must have a valid theme park ticket (along with a park pass reservation) in order to take a ride on the monorail. Once onboard, guests will get one-of-a-kind views of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, the majestic Matterhorn Bobsleds, and Grizzly Peak, Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll also zoom through Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and the Downtown Disney District.
