Sam Eagle Soars Into Walt Disney World as New America 250 Popcorn Bucket
It’s time to salute the red, white, and blue because one of Disney’s most patriotic characters is getting the popcorn bucket treatment! Sam Eagle from The Muppets will soon be arriving at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort as part of the America 250 celebration, giving guests a star-spangled souvenir worthy of a standing ovation.
The new popcorn bucket features Sam Eagle standing proudly behind a patriotic podium decorated with festive bunting. He’s sporting a red, white, and blue Uncle Sam-inspired top hat, while the attached Disney Parks lanyard strap continues the patriotic theme with stars-and-stripes styling. The collectible has already generated plenty of excitement among Disney and Muppets fans eager to add the feathered patriot to their popcorn bucket collection.
Disneyland Resort has confirmed the bucket will debut on June 30, while Walt Disney World has only announced that it will arrive later this summer. Disney has not yet revealed which locations will carry the bucket, but guests should expect purchase limits of two per person, per transaction, while supplies last.
The Sam Eagle bucket is part of Disney’s larger America 250 celebration, which includes a variety of red, white, and blue-themed food and beverage offerings arriving across Walt Disney World beginning June 15. If this patriotic Muppet is already calling your name, you’ll want to keep your eagle eyes peeled for an official release date.

Ka-Chow! Pixar’s ‘Cars’ Returning to Theaters for 20th Anniversary Celebration
Start your engines, because Lightning McQueen is heading back to the big screen! Pixar has announced that its beloved animated classic Cars will return to theaters this September as part of the film’s 20th anniversary celebration.
The announcement came on June 9, exactly 20 years after Cars first raced into theaters in 2006. Pixar shared the news on social media alongside a nostalgic video celebrating the characters, memorable moments, and iconic locations that helped turn Radiator Springs into one of animation’s most beloved destinations. From Lightning McQueen and Mater to Sally and Doc Hudson, the film introduced a cast of characters that continues to fuel a passionate fanbase two decades later.
While Pixar has confirmed the September theatrical return, additional details such as ticket sales, participating theaters, and the exact release date have not yet been announced. Fans will want to keep an eye on Disney and Pixar channels in the coming weeks for more information.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting for Disney Parks fans. The Cars franchise continues to play a major role in Disney experiences around the world, and construction is currently underway on the new Piston Peak National Park-themed expansion coming to Magic Kingdom. Whether you’re revisiting Radiator Springs for the hundredth time or introducing a new generation to Lightning McQueen’s journey, this anniversary re-release is shaping up to be one pit stop worth making.

Families eager to experience Universal’s newest theme park won’t have to wait until July. Universal Kids Resort has announced a special preview period from June 24 through June 29, giving guests an early chance to explore the brand-new destination before its official grand opening on July 1, 2026.

Disney Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with Patriotic Treats Across Walt Disney World
Disney is getting ready to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a lineup of patriotic treats arriving across Walt Disney World beginning June 15. While the festivities won’t officially kick off until next year, guests can start sampling red, white, and blue snacks this summer at the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.
Among the most eye-catching additions is the new Sam Eagle Star-Spangled Shortcake at EPCOT’s Regal Eagle Smokehouse. The dessert combines vanilla cake, fresh berries, whipped cream, festive sprinkles, and a chocolate Sam Eagle medallion, making it one of the most on-theme treats of the celebration. Guests can also pair it with “The 1776,” a blue raspberry Sprite beverage loaded with strawberry popping pearls.
Over at Magic Kingdom, Sleepy Hollow is leaning into the patriotic spirit with a trio of limited-time offerings, including a Red, White, and Blue Funnel Cake, a matching waffle, and a layered frozen slushy featuring blue raspberry and cherry flavors topped with whipped cream and popping candy. The popular Berry Shortcake will also make its way to Columbia Harbour House.
Resort guests won’t be left out of the celebration. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is introducing Fourth of July Beignets filled with apple pie flavors, while Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will serve a towering Star Spangled Shake complete with a confetti cake ice pop. Disney Springs is also joining the party with a special 4th of July Mickey Milk Chocolate Ganache Square at The Ganachery.
Perhaps the most anticipated souvenir revealed is the new Sam Eagle Bucket, which Disney says will arrive at Walt Disney World later this summer. With patriotic treats popping up from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT and beyond, it looks like Disney is ready to give guests plenty of delicious ways to celebrate America’s milestone birthday.

The front panel is perforated, making it super easy to securely stick and display your favorite Disney pins without ruining the material. It also features a gorgeous, large goldtone Mickey icon ring right on the front for clipping on all your favorite bag charms. And the absolute best part for a long park day? Color Coded Magic: A First Look at Disney Parks Massive New Logo Mania Collection
If you’ve ever wished you could literally wear your favorite Disney vibe on your sleeve, get ready to clear some space in your closet. Disney is dropping a massive new merch line called the Logo Mania Collection, and it is all about channeling specific parks nostalgia through a burst of monochrome color. Packing over 120 items, including sweatshirts, Minnie ears, home goods, keychains, and yes, even the return of niuMOs plushies, the collection officially hits shelves on June 12 at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.
The collection is broken down into six unique colorways, each anchored by a specific feeling, land, or ride, and featuring a signature park element. Four of the lines are dropping coast-to-coast, while Walt Disney World walks away with two exclusive vibes.
Coast-to-Coast Colors (Disneyland & Walt Disney World)
Last Day of Trip Blues (Cobalt Blue)
We all know that bittersweet ache. You’re standing on Main Street, checking your flight info, and already planning your next vacation before you’ve even scanned out of the turnstiles. This beautiful cobalt blue collection captures that exact blend of last-day magic and heavy nostalgia. Its signature icon is the classic Disney balloon, reminding you to hold onto that happy energy no matter how far away from the castle you wander.
The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room (Emerald Green)
For the crowd whose perfect day starts and ends with a cup of DOLE Whip and a chorus of singing flowers, this one’s for you. Bathed in a lush emerald green, this lineup brings major nature and adventure vibes, instantly calling to mind deep jungle canopies and treehouses. Naturally, the star element here is a Tiki bird, making it the ultimate tropical escape gear for anyone who knows every single Jungle Cruise joke by heart.
Fantasyland Feels (Bright Pink)
If you never really outgrew storybooks, love a good spin on the Mad Tea Party, and firmly believe the way to fly is just thinking happy thoughts, welcome to your new favorite colorway. Drenched in a bright, unapologetic pink, this collection oozes happily-ever-after energy. It features a teacup as its signature element, designed to spark that flutter of childlike wonder and it’s vibrant enough to catch the eye of the Queen of Hearts herself.
Park Hopper (Orange)
This one is for the speed-walkers, the lightning-lane experts, and the people who physically cannot stay in one place for too long. Repellent to standard single-park days, this energetic orange collection celebrates the art of the pivot. It honors arguably the best mode of Disney transportation with an orange monorail icon. It’s a bright reminder of that exact moment you hear the chime, see the doors glide open, and listen to the iconic prompt to “please stand clear of the doors.”
Walt Disney World Exclusives
Popcorn on Main Street (Bright Yellow)
Let’s be honest: some people visit for the rides, and some visit exclusively for the snacks. If your vacation doesn’t officially begin until you are hit with the scent of movie theater butter under the glow of the Main Street Cinema lights, this bright yellow collection has your name on it. Featuring a classic box of popcorn as its signature element, this limited-time release brings the cheerful, comforting magic of the park’s entrance right to your wardrobe.
Parks After Dark (Black)
There is a highly specific, peaceful hum that settles over the parks right before closing time. The air cools down, the crowds thin out, and the neon and castle lights glow just a bit brighter. The “Parks After Dark” collection captures that late-night explorer vibe perfectly in a sleek black colorway. Its signature icon is a burst of fireworks, acting as the ultimate finale to a perfect Disney day.
Whether you’re shopping by your favorite ride, your preferred color palette, or just the exact emotional vibe you want to carry with you, this massive drop has a little bit of everything. Keep your eyes peeled at the major resort stores starting June 12 to grab your favorites before they disappear!

The Dreamiest New Pink and Yellow Disney World Sweatshirts Just Dropped!
Oh my goodness, grab your wallets because the Disney style gods have officially answered our cozy-core prayers! If you are as utterly obsessed with the cottagecore, patchwork aesthetic as I am, you’re going to lose your mind over the new Walt Disney World sweatshirts. Disney just dropped the ultimate duo of pastel perfection, and they are the exact vibe we need for a breezy evening strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., or just romanticizing our morning coffee routine at home.
Let’s talk about the yellow one first, which is giving pure sunshine in the best way possible. It’s this gorgeous, pale butter-yellow shade that acts as the perfect canvas for the real star of the show: the lettering. “Walt Disney World” is sprawled across the chest in the most stunning patchwork wordmark. Each letter is a mix-and-match dream of blue and pink contrasting patterns, we’re talking florals, polka-dots, and gingham! To make it even better, the letters are bordered by crisp blue embroidery that makes the patterns totally pop. Plus, right underneath, it features a classic blue printed castle silhouette with “Authentic Original Est. 1971.” It is vintage, it is sweet, and it is an absolute need.
But wait, it gets better. If you’re more of a pink girlie or let’s be real, if you just need both to match your mood, they dropped the exact same design on a very light, pastel pink pullover. The mix of the pink and blue floral-and-gingham patchwork against that soft pink fabric is literal magic.
Both of these dream sweatshirts are retailing for $69.99, and honestly, the attention to detail on the embroidery and fabric patterns makes them worth every single penny. They are the perfect blend of nostalgic Disney and modern, girly style. Which color are you adding to your park bag first?
Taylor Swift and Randy Newman Perform Surprise Toy Story 5 Duet at World Premiere
For those of us who grew up rewinding plastic tapes and waiting for that familiar, glowing Pixar lamp to bounce onto the screen, last night felt like a core memory being made in real time. There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the defining pieces of your childhood and your adulthood suddenly cross paths. At the world premiere of Toy Story 5, two entirely separate worlds collided in a way that left everyone in the room and all of us watching from afar, giddy with pure nostalgia. Taylor Swift and Randy Newman? It’s the crossover we didn’t know we needed, but now can’t imagine living without.
The world premiere of Toy Story 5 was already a massive deal, bringing out the absolute legends of the franchise like Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack alongside director Andrew Stanton. But the real magic happened when the lights dimmed and the music started. There they were: Randy Newman, the musical architect of our childhoods, and Taylor Swift, the definitive voice of our generation, performing a surprise duet of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” Hearing Randy’s familiar, comforting drawl blend with Taylor’s sweet vocals was an instant ticket back to simpler times. It was the kind of pure, unadulterated nostalgia that leaves you with a lump in your throat and a massive smile on your face.
As if that wasn’t enough to make every millennial and Gen Z kid melt, Taylor took to the piano to debut “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the brand-new original song she wrote and produced with Jack Antonoff for the film. It’s a track that captures that exact, aching feeling of growing up but desperately wanting to hold onto the things that kept you safe when you were little. It has all the signature emotional weight you’d expect, perfectly setting the stage for a movie where the classic toys we love have to go toe-to-toe with Lilypad, a disruptive new tablet device voiced by Greta Lee. It’s a classic story of tradition meeting tech, and Taylor’s melody grounds it in pure, timeless heart.
But honestly, one of the best part of the whole night? Taylor proved she is exactly one of us. Amidst all the Hollywood glamour and the star-studded crowd, which included everyone from Conan O’Brien to Pixar mastermind Pete Docter, Taylor brought along her own vintage, plastic-case Toy Story VHS tape just to get it signed by the cast. It was such a beautifully relatable 90s-kid move. Underneath the global pop-star status, she’s clearly just as obsessed with Woody, Buzz, and the gang as the rest of us who grew up wishing our toys would come alive the second we walked out of the room.
Playtime officially resumes when the movie hits theaters on June 19, and after last night, I am more than ready to go to infinity and beyond one more time.
In an exciting crossover between luxury automotive design and cinema, Porsche and Pixar have unveiled a trio of bespoke 911s. Modeled after Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear, these one-of-a-kind vehicles were created to celebrate the highly anticipated theatrical release of Toy Story 5.
Following an initial teaser back in April, these unique Toy Story 5 vehicles have been officially revealed as highly exclusive Porsche Sonderwunsch creations. Built entirely as one-of-one models, they are slated to be sold through a special charity initiative, with all proceeds directly supporting the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The Woody-inspired 911 showcases incredible craftsmanship, featuring a custom blue finish that the Sonderwunsch team uniquely textured by pressing real denim fabric directly into the wet paint. This distinct base is complemented by Coffee Black and Aurum Gold exterior accents, custom red graphics bearing Woody’s name, and exclusive five-spoke wheels explicitly sculpted to mirror his iconic sheriff’s badge.
Step inside, and the character details become even more immersive. The vintage brown leather cabin features custom seats upholstered in a gold-checkered pattern that perfectly mimics Woody’s signature western shirt. For the ultimate Pixar easter egg, the center gear shifter has been meticulously detailed to look just like the classic Pixar Ball.
Jessie’s 911 captures her spunky cowgirl style with an elegant “Jessie White” metallic paint job, coated in a shimmering pearl overlay and accented by custom, hand-painted pinstriping inspired by her western shirt. The interior mirrors her iconic wardrobe just as perfectly, boasting vibrant red leather seats with clean white edging—reminiscent of her famous cowgirl hat—paired with unique, black-and-white cowhide-patterned floor mats that pay direct tribute to her chaps.
Rounding out the trio is the Buzz Lightyear-inspired 911, which perfectly translates the iconic Space Ranger suit onto Porsche’s sleek bodywork. The exterior sports a crisp white finish accented by vibrant Star Command green and purple, complete with custom body graphics that mimic the chest panel buttons and the classic Space Ranger emblem. In a brilliant design choice, the car’s rear wing has even been custom-styled to mirror Buzz’s deployable wings.
The intergalactic aesthetic continues inside the cabin, where striking purple and green trim accents tie the cockpit directly to the exterior design alongside several hidden, character-inspired details.
To highlight the absolute exclusivity of these builds, each vehicle features custom character silhouettes of Woody, Jessie, or Buzz Lightyear. In an incredible display of automotive artistry, every single detail on the exterior was entirely hand-painted by the design team—meaning you won’t find a single sticker or decal anywhere on these masterpiece vehicles.
Construction on Disneyland Resort’s upcoming parking structure is officially ramping up, with the Manchester Cast Member lot set to close by the end of June to accommodate the development.
According to a Facebook post by Workers United Local 50—the union representing a large portion of Disneyland’s Cast Members—the Manchester lot is scheduled to close on June 28. While Disneyland Resort has not yet publicly announced the official closure date, Local 50 noted that employees can explore alternative commuting resources and assistance programs by visiting disneycommuterassistance.com.
Following the June 28 shutdown, displaced Cast Members will be redirected to alternative parking locations. The union confirmed that the following lots will be available to accommodate staff:
Katella Cast Member Lot (KCML): Newly opened up to accommodate displaced parkers
Harbor Cast Member Lot (HCML)
Ball Cast Member Lot (BMCL)
This major closure follows two construction permits filed in late December 2025 for a massive, 3.2 million-square-foot east parking structure. The expansive project is a key piece of the DisneylandForward expansion initiative, which Disney officially greenlit in 2025 after teasing the concepts to the public back in 2023. The blueprint closely echoes Disney’s original 2016 “Eastern Gateway” plan, a project that was ultimately shelved in favor of building the Pixar Pals parking structure in 2019.
Both new permits target 1585 S. Manchester Ave, the exact footprint of the current Manchester Cast Member lot located just across Harbor Boulevard. Once completed, this area will serve as a brand-new, high-capacity entrance to the Disneyland Resort. The updated layout will feature a pedestrian bridge arching over Harbor Boulevard, creating a seamless and elevated arrival experience that ushers guests directly into a newly designed main esplanade.
Once complete, the massive facility will accommodate 6,000 vehicles and feature dedicated drop-off areas for ride-sharing and shuttles. To keep arrivals smooth and efficient, it will also house its own security screening area and a dedicated entrance directly off Disney Way to help alleviate local traffic.
Are you looking forward to more parking options at Disneyland?
