Disney Lorcana and “Zootopia 2” Unite for a Global Theater Promotion

As anticipation builds for Zootopia 2, Disney fans worldwide are about to discover a new way to step into the story. Ravensburger’s Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game will make a special appearance in theaters during the opening weekend of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming sequel, inviting moviegoers to collect a limited-edition promotional card that celebrates Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde’s return to the big screen.

For a limited time, all Cinemark theaters globally will offer the exclusive Disney Lorcana card titled “Putting It All Together.” The collectible features glimmers—alternate versions of familiar Disney characters—of Zootopia 2’s beloved duo and marks one of the first cross-promotions between the popular trading card game and a major Disney film release.

The card will be distributed in more than 20 territories and printed in seven languages, ensuring fans around the world can take part. In the United States, moviegoers can receive the card at Cinemark and Cineplex theaters from November 26 through November 30, while supplies last. Fans in Japan will receive the promo beginning December 5, coinciding with the film’s local premiere. Additional releases are planned across Asia, Europe, and Australia at participating theaters.

Before the feature presentation, audiences at select locations will also be treated to a short animated introduction to Disney Lorcana’s Collection Starter Set, offering a glimpse into the world of trading, collecting, and gameplay. The special “Putting It All Together” card will include a QR code directing fans to begin their own Lorcana journey—an invitation to collect, trade, and play in a realm where Disney storytelling meets strategy. Santa is Coming to Town! Disney Springs Confirms Virtual Queue for 2025 Meet-and-Greet

Jolly news for holiday shoppers and Disney fans! Disney has officially confirmed the return of its popular Virtual Queue system for the 2025 Santa Claus meet-and-greet at Disney Springs, offering a more convenient way to share your Christmas wishes with the Big Man.

The festive fun will kick off on November 13 and run through December 24, 2025. Guests can find Santa Claus near Disney’s Pin Traders in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, ready to pose for photos and hear wish lists.

No Standby, Virtual Queue is Required

In a move designed to maximize shopping and dining time, Disney has confirmed that access to the Santa Claus meet-and-greet will be managed exclusively through the My Disney Experience app. There will be no traditional standby queue available.

This means if meeting Santa is on your holiday agenda, you must secure a spot in the virtual queue once you arrive at Disney Springs.

How to Join the Virtual Queue

The process leverages the My Disney Experience app, but a few important rules apply:

Location, Location, Location: You must be physically present at Disney Springs to join the virtual queue. The app uses your device’s location services to confirm your eligibility.
Multiple Drop Times: To give guests plenty of opportunities throughout the day, the virtual queue will open at multiple times:
- 9:00 AM
- 11:00 AM
- 1:00 PM
- 3:00 PM
- 6:00 PM
One Reservation for the Group: Only one person in your party needs to request to join the queue for your entire group, up to a maximum of 10 people.

Your Return to the North Pole

Once your group is called, the My Disney Experience app will send a push notification alerting you that it is your turn to return. This notification will direct you to the meet-and-greet location and provide a digital entry code.

If you happen to miss the push notification, your digital entry code can always be found within the My Disney Experience app under the “Virtual Queues” section, accessed by tapping the three-line menu icon.

This streamlined system allows families to enjoy all the other holiday offerings at Disney Springs—like the Christmas Tree Stroll and nightly snowfall—while they wait for their special moment with Santa. Mark your calendars and prepare your My Disney Experience app for November 13th!

Mad Dash to Restroom at Magic Kingdom Leads to Guest's Arrest Another's Hospitalization

Guest Arrested Following Reported Altercation at Space Mountain Exit in Magic Kingdom

A guest was arrested at Magic Kingdom on Saturday night, September 27, 2025, following a reported altercation near the exit of the Space Mountain attraction. According to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit, deputies responded around 10 p.m. after a man claimed he was struck by another guest as crowds exited the ride.

Deputies identified the suspect as Faraz Syed, who was taken into custody for simple battery and later transported to the Orange County Jail without incident.

According to the affidavit, the victim and his fiancée were leaving Space Mountain when an unidentified man—later identified as Syed—attempted to move past them in the crowded walkway, reportedly stating that he needed to use the restroom. The victim told the man to “wait like everyone else,” prompting an argument. Moments later, the suspect allegedly charged at the victim, knocking him into a railing and wall.

The victim, whose identity is protected under Marsy’s Law, told deputies he had a prior back surgery and began experiencing pain after the impact. He was transported by The District Fire Department Paramedics to Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital for evaluation.

A witness, identified as the victim’s fiancée, stated that a woman accompanying the suspect was seen trying to pull him back, telling him to stop, before he “intentionally threw his body” into the victim.

When questioned, Syed initially told deputies there was “no physical or verbal contact” between him and the victim. He later changed his account, saying his left shoulder “may have brushed against” the man as he passed. Deputies noted inconsistencies in Syed’s statements.

Disney management reportedly told deputies that no security footage of the incident could be located. No photos were taken at the scene, but deputies’ body-worn cameras were active during the investigation.

Based on witness statements and the totality of circumstances, Syed was charged under Florida Statute §784.03 for simple battery—defined as “actually and intentionally touching or striking another person against the will of the other.” Syed entered a plea of not guilty and was released on a $2,000 cash bond.

“Catastrophic” Category 5 Hurricane Melissa Forces Disney Cruise Line to Reroute ‘Treasure’ and ‘Wish’

Hurricane Melissa has rapidly intensified into a “catastrophic” Category 5 storm, prompting Disney Cruise Line to make significant itinerary changes for the Disney Treasure and Disney Wish sailings to ensure guest safety.

The National Hurricane Center’s latest report shows Melissa with maximum sustained winds of 160 mph, exceeding the 157 mph threshold for a Category 5 hurricane.

According to the Weather Channel, the storm is beginning a “catastrophic, historic, multiday strike on Jamaica,” with life-threatening flash flooding, landslides, and destructive storm surges of 9 to 13 feet expected. Forecasters anticipate landfall in Jamaica around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with some areas potentially seeing up to 40 inches of rain.

In response to the storm’s path, Disney Cruise Line has altered its Eastern Caribbean and Bahamian sailings.

Disney Treasure Itinerary Rerouted

Guests currently sailing on the Disney Treasure, which departed Port Canaveral on Saturday, October 25, have been alerted to a major reroute. The ship’s original Eastern Caribbean itinerary, which included stops in Tortola and St. Thomas, has been completely changed. The ship will now sail to the Western Caribbean and The Bahamas.

The new itinerary is as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 25: Departed Port Canaveral, Florida
Sunday, Oct. 26: Day at Sea
Monday, Oct. 27: Day at Sea
Tuesday, Oct. 28: Cozumel, Mexico (previously Tortola, British Virgin Islands)
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Day at Sea (previously St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands)
Thursday, Oct. 30: Disney Castaway Cay (previously Day at Sea)
Friday, Oct. 31: Disney Castaway Cay
Saturday, Nov. 1: Return to Port Canaveral, Florida

Disney Wish Itinerary Altered

The upcoming sailing of the Disney Wish, scheduled to depart today, October 27, has also been preemptively altered. The ship’s original schedule was modified, swapping its “Day at Sea” and “Castaway Cay” days to keep the ship clear of the storm’s potential path.

The new itinerary is as follows:

Monday, Oct. 27: Port Canaveral, Florida
Tuesday, Oct. 28: Disney Castaway Cay (previously Day at Sea)
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Nassau, The Bahamas
Thursday, Oct. 30: Day at Sea (previously Disney Castaway Cay)
Friday, Oct. 31: Return to Port Canaveral, Florida

For guests on both sailings, any Port Adventures previously booked for the now-canceled stops (like Tortola and St. Thomas) will be automatically removed from their accounts and refunded. Guests can book new excursions for their updated ports of call through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or by visiting the Port Adventures Desk onboard.

This marks the third time this hurricane season that sailings have been impacted, following itinerary changes for the Disney Treasure due to Hurricane Erin in August and a Disney Wish sailing in September.

Wellness Center – A state-of-the-art fitness facility with indoor cardio and strength training equipment, a movement studio for dance and yoga, and an outdoor lap pool.

Courts at the Artisan Club – Outdoor courts for tennis and pickleball with a magical twist.
The Studios – A multi-purpose space where members can bring artistic inspiration to life featuring art from Disney legends Mary Blair and Marc Davis as well as commissioned pieces from local Palm Springs artists.

Now open to Artisan Club members, Parr House is a striking, six-bedroom mid-century modern event venue inspired by the Parr family’s home in Incredibles 2. This retreat—designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and built by Davidson Communities—includes a living room, kitchen, bar, boardroom, art studio, and covered patio, available for members to host events, celebrate milestones, or book overnight stays for an additional fee.

This first-of-its-kind project for Imagineering brings screen-to-street storytelling to life. Imagineers partnered with Pixar artists to creatively interpret the Palm Springs area’s mid-century modern aesthetic, infusing the film’s spirit. The design is enhanced with playful film details sprinkled throughout, like Sugar Bombs and Fiber O’s cereal boxes in the kitchen and the family’s schedule scribbled on the calendar.

Parr House at the Artisan Club brings the story full circle — Pixar artists drew inspiration from the Palm Springs region when designing the family’s home for the 2018 film. Now, fittingly, Imagineers have chosen Parr House as the icon of Cotino, placing it in the same location that once sparked the creative vision behind the film.
