Disney Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary with Patriotic Treats Across Walt Disney World
Disney is getting ready to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a lineup of patriotic treats arriving across Walt Disney World beginning June 15. While the festivities won’t officially kick off until next year, guests can start sampling red, white, and blue snacks this summer at the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs.

Among the most eye-catching additions is the new Sam Eagle Star-Spangled Shortcake at EPCOT’s Regal Eagle Smokehouse. The dessert combines vanilla cake, fresh berries, whipped cream, festive sprinkles, and a chocolate Sam Eagle medallion, making it one of the most on-theme treats of the celebration. Guests can also pair it with “The 1776,” a blue raspberry Sprite beverage loaded with strawberry popping pearls.
Over at Magic Kingdom, Sleepy Hollow is leaning into the patriotic spirit with a trio of limited-time offerings, including a Red, White, and Blue Funnel Cake, a matching waffle, and a layered frozen slushy featuring blue raspberry and cherry flavors topped with whipped cream and popping candy. The popular Berry Shortcake will also make its way to Columbia Harbour House.
Resort guests won’t be left out of the celebration. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is introducing Fourth of July Beignets filled with apple pie flavors, while Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will serve a towering Star Spangled Shake complete with a confetti cake ice pop. Disney Springs is also joining the party with a special 4th of July Mickey Milk Chocolate Ganache Square at The Ganachery.

Perhaps the most anticipated souvenir revealed is the new Sam Eagle Bucket, which Disney says will arrive at Walt Disney World later this summer. With patriotic treats popping up from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT and beyond, it looks like Disney is ready to give guests plenty of delicious ways to celebrate America’s milestone birthday.
