Start your engines, Disney popcorn bucket collectors! Disney has officially unveiled a brand-new Lightning McQueen popcorn bucket to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pixar’s beloved film, Cars, and it’s speeding into Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort beginning June 9, 2026.

The eye-catching collectible is designed to look just like Lightning McQueen himself, complete with special lighting effects that bring the Piston Cup champion to life. The top portion of the vehicle opens to hold popcorn, making it both a fun display piece and a practical park snack container.

The release comes as Disney celebrates two decades of Cars, the Pixar classic that first introduced fans to Radiator Springs, Mater, Sally, and the ever-confident race car voiced by Owen Wilson. Since its debut in 2006, the franchise has grown into one of Pixar’s most successful properties, inspiring sequels, merchandise, attractions, and dedicated fan followings around the world.
