Spotted in a new aerial video from WESH Chopper 2, this life-size animatronic dragon was seen backstage practicing her moves before making her official debut in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk when the park opens on May 22, 2025.

Who Is Dart?

Dart is one of Toothless’ children, introduced at the end of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. As a Night Light, she’s a hybrid of Toothless’ Night Fury lineage and her mother’s Light Fury traits, giving her a sleek black-and-white appearance.

Disney Vacation Club Prices Increase for 2025—Here’s What You Need to Know

If you’ve been considering purchasing into Disney Vacation Club (DVC), now might be the time to lock in your points—because prices just went up across multiple resorts. As of February 11, the base price per point at several DVC resorts increased between $5 and $35 when purchased directly from Disney Vacation Club.

Breaking Down the Price Increases

The newer DVC resorts saw a $10 per point increase, bringing them from $225 per point to $235 per point:

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel also increased, but by a smaller amount, going from $239 per point to $245 per point.

Animal Kingdom opens at 8 AM, but Maharajah Jungle Trek doesn’t open until 9 AM—so guests start lining up early in Asia, wrapping around Gibbon Island while waiting for the trail to open.
At opening, the usual Jungle Trek queue is reversed—meaning guests enter through the exit and take a long, winding route before reaching the tiger viewing area.
Around 12:30 PM, the queue returns to normal, allowing guests to enter the trail through the standard entrance and head straight to the tiger habitat.

🐅 Best Time to Visit:
The crowds are flocking to see baby Bakso early in the day, so plan on a visit right around lunch time to snag a spot in the queue with the shortest wait.

Construction Walls Up at the Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom—But Don’t Fret, It’s Still Open!

If you’re strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom and notice something… different near The Plaza Restaurant, you’re not imagining things! Construction walls have popped up around the beloved dining spot, adding a bit of an unexpected green touch to the area.

These temporary walls, standing about eight feet tall, are primarily located on the left side of the restaurant near the entrance to Tomorrowland Terrace. Behind them, scaffolding and brown scrim extend above the Plaza’s roofline, wrapping all the way around to where the building facade joins neighboring structures. If this feels like déjà vu, you’re not wrong! The Plaza Restaurant recently underwent a refurbishment in 2024, with fresh paint, cleaned lighting fixtures, and even a spruced-up menu box. Now, it looks like a bit more TLC is underway—though Disney has yet to officially comment on the scope of this current work.

But here’s the good news: The Plaza Restaurant is still open! A pathway remains accessible between the construction walls, though it’s noticeably darker than usual thanks to the brown scrim overhead. So, while you might feel like you’re stepping through a secret tunnel to get to your meal, rest assured that all the delicious sandwiches, burgers, and sundaes are waiting for you on the other side.

Speaking of food, The Plaza is known for serving up casual yet delightful dishes in a charming, turn-of-the-century atmosphere. Whether you’re digging into a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, a Triple Decker Turkey Club, or the indulgent Pot Roast Stack, there’s something for everyone. And let’s not forget dessert—because a visit to The Plaza wouldn’t be complete without a classic brownie sundae or banana split straight from the soda fountain!

Disney has a history of using EarthCam technology to document its ambitious projects. From past multi-year expansions to the construction of major attractions and lands, similar cameras have provided behind-the-scenes views of progress. While Dino-Rama is undergoing a significant transformation, the Dinosaur Treasures building will be preserved and rethemed to complement the Tropical Americas aesthetic. Disney+ Updates DEI Warnings

Disney is updating content warnings on films, such as “Peter Pan” and “Dumbo,” as part of a broader review of its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices.

Disney has updated the disclaimer preceding some of its older films, as reported by Axios and confirmed by Variety.

Previously, the warning stated the film “includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of peoples or cultures.” The revised version reads: “This program is presented as originally created and may contain stereotypes or negative depictions.” Disney initially added content warnings to films like “Dumbo” in November 2019, acknowledging “outdated cultural depictions.”

Disney’s content warning for some older films underwent a change in October 2020, with the addition of language addressing harmful stereotypes and expressing a commitment to a more inclusive future. This expanded warning, which stated, “This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures…These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now…,” has now been reverted to a version resembling the 2019 disclaimer.

Sonia Coleman, Disney’s chief human resources officer, detailed changes to the company’s DEI initiatives in a memo to leadership Tuesday.

“Creating a welcoming and respectful environment for our employees and guests is core to our company culture and our business,” Coleman wrote. “Our values — integrity, creativity, collaboration, community, inclusion — guide our actions and how we treat each other. Today I want to provide an update on how our values are embedded in our leader compensation programs, specifically our Other Performance Factors (OPFs), as well as share some of the work that has been underway to evolve our talent strategy consistent with these values.”
