Today is the first day of Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays event at Walt Disney World.
Here is a first look at this years Passport book which has all those yummy food items you will want to check out.
Disney has moved away from stamps and opted for stickers instead.

Anthony Gonzalez is the voice actor starring as Miguel the main character in Pixar’s Animation Studios’ new film Coco. The incredibly talented young actor has been acting since he was four years old, and not only can he act, Anthony also sings Mariachi with his family. In the video interview below, from Disney Parks Blog, you can learn more about the young star, as well as enjoy his performance of “Remember Me” on stage at the Walt Disney Theatre aboard the Disney Fantasy.

Is your little one ready to write their letter to Santa yet? We always do ours the morning after Thanksgiving (Also known as Elf Arrival Day in our house), and I love to make it a fun family project. While standing in the dreaded post office line the other day, my Disney radar spotted these cute Disney Letters to Santa Kits, and I was thrilled.
This set comes with enough themed items to write 2 letters to Santa. It contains one fill-in-the-blank letter to Santa, a blank sheet of stationary to write a letter, two envelopes, two coloring pages, four Crayola crayons, and a sticker sheet. After your child fills our, or writes their list, you can tuck it into the envelope and seal it with a sticker! If you don’t want to head to the post office, you can also find it online at Hallmark.com. I thought this was not only an adorable kit, but affordable too, it retails for around $6.
I found it hanging from a display that also had holiday shipping boxes, plus more Christmas themed Disney stationary items! I saw a stationary set, memo pads, and pocket notebooks, all with holiday themed Mickey and Minnie artwork.

Remember that time guests at Disneyland were surprised by a special appearance of Luke Skywalker himself while waiting to experience the Star Tours attraction?
Mark Hamill shared the surprise on his Twitter feed and various other clips have made their way to the internet as well.
And now Disney has released the official footage from his visit.
The video also serves as a promotional piece for The Last Jedi, which blasts into theaters on December 15h.
One of the highlights of visiting Walt Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts during the holiday season are the larger-than-life gingerbread displays you’ll find in many of the resort lobbies in the lead-in to Christmas.
One of our favorites each year has to be the amazing gingerbread carousel that is a regular feature of the Yuletide celebrations over at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort. This ingenious gingerbread creation is actually a moving carousel and has been wowing guests since it premiered 18 years ago. We were lucky to be able to stop by the Yacht and Beach Club to check it out earlier this week. Here are a few photos to give you a taste of this amazing display.
Here’s a distance shot to give you a sense of scale and the pride-of-place it takes in the Lobby.
As you can see meticulous details goes into creating this gingerbread treat, from the ornate horses featured to the gingerbread tiles that line the floor.
This year the carousel has been infused with the spirit of Ohana and features Lilo and Stitch as well as a lot of playful tropical details.
The highlights include this life-sized Lilo as well as a Lilo and Stitch-themed carousel horse.
You’ll also see a life-sized Stitch, making mischief as he wraps presents.
Fans of the film will also notice that Lilo’s doll Scrump is serving as the topper on this year’s carousel display.

Beauty and the Beast has arrived to the stage at the Walt Disney Theatre, aboard the Disney Dream. Disney Parks Live recently shared a live stream of the new show, inspired by the classic Disney film and the hit live-action remake, and Disney Parks Blog has released a few bonus scenes from the stage show. SeaWorld Orlando will be debuting its new Infinity Falls river rapids attraction next summer and we have the first look at the first of 15 custom rafts that guests will be riding. The 8-passenger rafts mirror those found on real white-water rafting expeditions with custom theming and décor. The circular raft design puts riders face-to-face and allows friends and family to enjoy this exhilarating attraction together.
Aboard the raft, riders will embark on an adventure through a lush rainforest environment inspired by some of the world’s most incredible freshwater ecosystems. The new attraction will feature the world’s tallest drop on a river raft ride and allow visitors to experience the feel of exhilarating rapids. The ride will also feature an innovative elevator lift designed to transport the rafts to the top of the ride’s 40-foot drop.
Infinity Falls will be the first attraction at SeaWorld to tell a story beyond the ocean and share a message of water conservation through the adventure of a white-water river expedition. This is just one example of the park’s new “Park to Planet” initiative, a mission to help guests understand some of the challenges facing the planet and inspiring them to help.
The new attraction will be the centerpiece of a newly themed area designed to resemble the basecamp of explorers and scientists. After riding Infinity Falls, the entire family can explore the village and take part in interactive experiences that combine play with education to create a positive impact on freshwater ecosystems, reinforcing “Park to Planet” in real time. SeaWorld’s Animal Ambassadors will also provide up-close encounters with animals native to South America.

Award Wieners at Disney’s California Adventure is the new home of an amazing sweet and spicy dessert.
They take funnel cake fries, top them with diced mangoes in a passion fruit-orange-guava sauce and add whipped cream and chile-lime sugar!
A sweet treat with a spicy kick this dessert is sure to please!!
Peppermint Santa Macarons are now available at Jolly Holiday at Disneyland.
This seasonal macaron offering from Jolly Holiday is filled with creamy chocolate peppermint filling. We’d describe it as a “less intense” York Peppermint Patty.
And in the shape of a Santa Hat, this seasonal treat couldn’t be any sweeter!
Today at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort we were able to get a sneak peek inside the all-new Ale & Compass Lounge and also a first-hand look at their all-new menu!
While not open to the public until November 21st we were invited in to a Private Event to sample some of their new food items!!!
The inside of the Ale & Compass Lounge was tastefully decorated with an all-new nautical theme. I love the pattern on the plates!!!
The color scheme inside is very sleek and clean, the carpet has a new but worn look like they have at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resort. Very cool!
The menu has expanded immensely… Sorry, the menu is a little blurry but you can see some of it online here.
We had the Oven-roasted Littlenecks with potatoes and bacon. It was delish! The drink, we just asked for something pretty and the bartender mixed up a Coconut rum fusion. It had blood orange/ passion fruit infused vodka, pineapple juice, and margarita mix. It even came with a glow cube which we will be taking home!
Thank you so much to Disney and the Team of Ale & Compass for allowing us to sample an appetizer and drink before it opens on November 21st!
