How Exciting, Gelatoni Merchandise is Now on shopDisney

Gelatoni Merchandise

I’m a huge fan of all the absolutely adorable things available at Tokyo Disney Sea, and Tokyo Disneyland. Duffy especially has a special place in my heart, since he was my son’s first toy. Duffy has found new friends since his debut, and one in particular I’ve been obsessed with, and that was Gelatoni. I actually got a bit teary eyed when I saw shopDisney actually has Gelatoni Merchandise now!

Disney has been bringing the Duffy characters over to Aulani, starting with ShellieMay, and most recently with Gelatoni. While I hope we get to see Stella Ru join the gang soon, as an artist, Gelatoni stuff being more easily available thrills me! There are two items available through shopDisney currently. The one I want most is sold out currently, but I’ll keep checking! There are still a few Aulani exclusives that are not currently available on shopDisney.

Plush Gelatoni the Cat will capture and create seascapes in his Aloha wear tourist togs. Duffy’s most artistic friend is a soft and sunny souvenir from Aulani. Gelatoni is a cat, who paints with his tail, a great buddy to keep around the next time you are feeling inspired to create!

My favorite item sold out before I was able to get it, the plush coin purse! Gelatoni can carry your cards, cash, Disney pass, a lip gloss, or other small esseintials with artful ease. He’s even got his signature tail, and artist beret, with a back pocket perfect for cards or your ID.

There is a limit of 5 items per person on these, but no word on how long they will be available online for. Now if only we could get some of those cute Tokyo Disney snacks here!

Which of the new Gelatoni Merchandise items is your favorite?

Disney Ends Special “Cast Member” Holiday Passes to Disneyland

Disney Ends Special "Cast Member" Holiday Passes to Disneyland

Disneyland transforms into nothing short of a winter wonderland every year during the holidays. Sleeping Beauty’s castle shimmers with blue icicle lights. It’s a Small World’s facade turns festive with twinkling Christmas-colored bulbs. The holiday magic draws many to the theme park, but Disneyland workers and their families claim they’re getting the short end of the stick during the holiday season.

Previous years, Cast Members were granted free access, discounted vouchers and complimentary snacks at both theme parks just as a thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year. But now, fliers being hung are indicating that Disney in limiting their special holiday passes to California Adventure only. Everybody knows Disneyland is where the spirit of Christmas brings the most joy.

Disney Ends Special "Cast Member" Holiday Passes to Disneyland

One flyer implies as much by depicting a scene from Mickey’s Christmas Carol where Ebenezer Scrooge (Scrooge McDuck) admonishes his worker Bob Cratchit (Mickey Mouse) with the caption “…and stay OUT of Disneyland.”

“For more than the past decade, management has helped brighten the holiday season by providing employees with free access for them and their families into Disneyland and California Adventure during the holiday,” Matthew Harden, SEIU-USWW senior coordinator, wrote in an Oct. 5 letter to Matthew Altman, Disney’s labor relations senior manager. “Notwithstanding the fact that revenue from Disneyland’s Parks and Resorts have increased in the past year, Disneyland has unilaterally decided to darken the holidays by taking away some of these benefits from the employees and their families.”

What a way to get your employees in the holiday spirit.

Each one has an expandable itty bittys version of Mickey or Minnie tucked within. What a memorable Christmas this gift would make! The itty bittys are vacuum-sealed to 0.5″ thickness, allowing them to fit inside a greeting card and its envelope. They return to original shape when packet is opened!

Disneyland’s Eggnog Macaron Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit

Disneyland's Eggnog Macaron Will Get You In The Holiday Spirit

The Festival of Holidays celebration at Disneyland’s California Adventure is offering this festive treat – an eggnog macaron.

While eggnog is a hit or miss holiday drink, if you’re a fan, you’ll probably love this desert. It tastes like eggnog, but the flavor isn’t overpowering.  However your standard Christmas spices come out so nicely.  And there is hidden caramel on the inside!

It is super sweet though so maybe share the holiday spirt and split it with a friend!

I can never have enough weekender or travel bags, especially as often as I take trips out of town for a weekend. Being totally obsessed with Disney treats and foods, I think I’ve found the perfect get away bag, this deliciously adorable Disney Snacks Weekender Bag.

This Disney Snacks Weekender Bag is Deliciously Cute

This overnight bag comes in two sizes, the regular one which is 18 x 9 x 10 inches, and the large which is 21 x 12 x 10 inches. Hi there Chip and Company friends! It has been two weeks since we had our last check-in with @bioreconstruct. I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to get the latest bird’s eye view to see how construction progress is going at Hollywood Studios. We can now see Rex and Jessie standing high above Toy Story Land and the roof is complete on the tunnel between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge aka “Batuu” and Grand Avenue. Let’s take a look….

TOY STORY LAND (summer 2018)

More toy theming has been added outside the Slinky Dog Dash station.

New trees have been added alongside Andy’s backyard fence.

Upper right of the photo shows Woody’s Lunch Box counter service location. Lower left of the photo shows Alien Swirling Saucers.

There’s Jesse and Rex!

A new Green Army Man stands guard over the Slinky Dog Dash coaster.

STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE (opens 2019)

The tunnel into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge now has its roof in place.

A nice aerial shot of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We just learned this week that the planet guests will be visiting in this land is called “Batuu”. Disney’s describes this planet as being a “remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel. Now home to those who prefer to stay out of the mainstream, it has become a thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders and adventurers traveling between the frontier and uncharted space. It’s also a convenient safe haven for those intent on avoiding the expanding reach of the First Order.”
