Gingerbread House Signing Event At The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is celebrating their 19th anniversary of its famous life-sized gingerbread house. You can find this delicious creation in their main lobby. Today we visited the Grand Floridian’s special Gingerbread House Signing Event to check out the new limited edition trading pin and say hi to Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek.

This event will also be held November 25th and December 2nd from 1 pm to 2 pm in case you missed it today.

Each year Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek leads his pastry team working on the gingerbread house. They spend over 400 hours baking and 160 hours constructing and decorating! You can see a very cool time-lapse video of its construction here.

Chef Erich was available today to sign the new limited edition trading pins and cookbooks now available.

One of the other amazing things we had to check out today was The Bake Shop also located at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa lobby.

Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek and his team have been hard at work creating gingerbread ornaments, cookies, and gingerbread house kits.

All of these yummy treats were made using a classic gingerbread recipe from Austria.

If you haven’t gotten a pair yet, you can now get the Made with Magic Mickey Ear Hat 3.0 on the Shop Disney Parks app and website too!

The colors of the Made with Magic 3.0 hat change with just a few taps of your finger! You can activate the “Color Remote” feature on the Shop Disney Parks app, and use it to select the speed and the hue of not only your ears, but others as well. They are usable with the Made with Magic events in the Disney parks and now at home through the Shop Disney Parks app by turning on your mic and Bluetooth during the special shows. Once you connect the device will sync with the audio from the program so your ears can dance with light. ABC has two upcoming events that you can view at home, that your ears will react with too! You can use these magical ears along with the special television broadcast of “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration” on December 25th!

Disney kitchen items aren’t always easy to come by, but Le Creuset has partnered with Disney once again, to bring us a gorgeous new collection in commemoration of Snow White’s 80th anniversary. The beautiful new Snow White Le Creuset Collection that everyone has been longing for, is now available at lecreuset.com!

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Le Creuset and Disney have collaborated once more, to create the apple cocotte, and petite apple cocotte set. These sets are inspired by the film’s iconic poisoned apple. Don’t be scared though, the cocotte might tempt you with its whimsical apple shape, and gorgeous red ombre color, but it won’t be poisonous. Both sets also include a commemorative charm and tea towel. The tea towel is white as snow, with fantastic silhouettes of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs woven through out vines, in a splendid apple red. If these sets weren’t beautiful enough, Le Creuset cookware is also some of the best out there, and makes for a wonderful piece that can be used for years to come.

The Disney Parks and Resorts are filled with festive cheer this time of year, and of course that means we need Christmas inspired Disney apparel to wear! I love to wear a different pair of Minnie ears each day of my visit, and coordinate them with my outfit as well. Comfort is also key, so I love Mouse Band’s comfy Christmas inspired Minnie ears!

I love these because they come in beautiful prints with cheerful embellishments, plus they are always very comfortable. These bands are lightweight, and always have a bit of shimmer, either on the bow, edging, or band, and I love shimmer! The bows compliment the prints on the ears, and the finishing touch is a festive or wintry embellishment on the bow. This designer is always happy to customize too! It’s here! The new Incredibles 2 trailer is here! And I love that even though we last saw them in 2004, it looks like we are picking up with our favorite Super Family right where we left them.

Directed by Brad Bird and produced by John Walker and Nicole Grindle, “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

With over 50 brand name and Disney themed stores, Disney Springs is a popular shopping spot for guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. There are also plenty of dining options scattered throughout making it easy to make a whole day of shopping in Disney Springs. A day of Disney shopping sounds like a blast, however the thought of hauling shopping bag from Disney Spring’s Marketplace all the way to the West Side doesn’t sound so appealing!

Disney Springs visitors will be pleased to know that, according to WDWinfo.com, the Disney shopping promenade has begun a new hands-free shopping service. The service allows guests to send their purchases to the Disney Springs Welcome Center, allowing them to enjoy their shopping experience without carrying souvenirs around all day. Guests will be able to pick up all of their purchases at the Welcome Center prior to 11:00 p.m.

Happy Birthday Mickey!! Another year, another birthday for our favorite mouse that started it all. To celebrate our pal’s special day, the Disney theme parks have some fun Happy Birthday Mickey merchandise so everyone can party like it’s their Birthday too!

The limited release collection features a contemporary Mickey cartoon design, that’s ringing in the celebration with confetti, and Oh Boys! You’ll find a commemorative Disney trading pin, Mickey Mouse ear hat, and two shirts, one in adults, and one in kids available for this release.

My favorite item from the collection is the Mickey Ear hat! After all, we can’t have a party without a birthday hat, and if it’s for Mickey, it’s gotta have ears. This is a classic ear hat design, in a light blue with confetti sprinkles, and an embroidered Mickey embellishment on the front. The hat is topped off with a whimsical red birthday hat. The finishing touch is the ears that say “Happy Birthday Mickey” and “2017”.
