Waiting in lines at Walt Disney World and Disneyland is about to become a lot more exciting! Disney has just announced an interactive app, Play Disney Parks, that allows users to explore theme parks at both Resorts in a whole new way. The app will also allow Guests to access exclusive experiences at both Disney World and Disneyland through activities that interact with the surrounding environment.
Next time you are in a line at select locations throughout the Parks, you will simply be able to touch a button and turn the wait times into play times with your family and friends. The more you use the app to explore, the more there is to discover on the app.
The My Disney Experience app has changed the way Guests explore the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Since it debuted in 2013, the app has continued to evolve and add new ways to make your visit even more magical. Within the past few months, the app has added the mobile ordering option and most recently, the Digital Key option. The Disneyland app also continues to help Guests who visit Disneyland with the addition of the MaxPass and will also see the addition of mobile ordering in the near future. The new Play Disney Parks app hopes to bring the same innovation and magic with its’ release.
The Play Disney Parks app will officially launch sometime this Summer on both the iOS and Android platforms. Keep following along with us here at Chip & Co for the official launch date and all the latest for the Play Disney Parks app!
