Hot off the heels of the “Christoper Robin” premiere over the weekend, Disney has just released a brand new trailer and poster for “Nutcracker and the Four Realms.”

Here is the new poster. Doesn’t it look gorgeous?!

And, here is the new “Nutcracker and the Four Realms” trailer:

In this upcoming film, set to be released this year, 17-year old Mackenzie Foy plays Clara, who is brainy and bold in this vibrant adaptation directed by Lasse Hallström. “She’s very smart and independent,” says Foy. “She loves to think and find the fastest way to solve a problem.”

To retrieve a lost, magical key that will open a priceless gift from her mother, Clara must travel across the Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets. It is in the Land of Sweets that she meets the fascinating Sugar Plum Fairy, played by Keira Knightley.

But there is an unease and trepidation in the Fourth Realm, ruled by Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren). “She’s a fierce character,” Mirren says, “with a modern edge.”

But don’t worry classic Nutcracker fans, you’ll recognize the nod to Tchaikovsky’s score and will enjoy a ballet sequence featuring Misty Copeland.

“Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is scheduled to arrive in theaters just in time for the holiday season on November 2,018.

‘Black Panther’ Becomes Third Film Ever to Reach $700 Million Domestic Milestone

On Sunday, August 5, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther crossed the $700 million mark at the domestic box office, becoming just the third film in history to reach this incredible threshold.

The film, which opened on February 16 and is now in its 25th week of release, shattered February box office records in its debut with $242.1 million over President’s Day weekend, including a Friday–Sunday gross of $202 million, followed by one of the biggest second weekends in history with $111.7 million. Black Panther is the biggest superhero release of all time in North America, and with an A+ CinemaScore and an exceptional 97% Certified Fresh on RottenTomatoes, the film has been celebrated by critics and audiences alike.

Earning an additional $646.7 million internationally, Black Panther’s global total has risen to $1.346 billion to date, ranking as the second biggest film of the year behind only Avengers: Infinity War.

Hey, hey dino-loving people!  There is a new lounge area open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park! Restaurantosaurus Lounge is now open and serving thirsty Animal Kingdom park guests!

This new lounge area in Dinoland U.S.A. will open daily at 5pm.  You’ll find beer, cocktails and light fare on the menu. It’s a nice spot to relax for a bit during your adventures at Animal Kingdom.

There are three non-alcoholic specialty drinks on the menu: Teal Rex, Paleontology Punch and Raptor Refresher.  Each one is $4.99.  I’m excited to try the Raptor Refresher with Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice and Strawberry Puree.

Four cocktails are on the menu as well. The Tequilasaurus is a Tart Margarita and available for $11.50.  Also for $11.50 you can get the Ferminted Fossil, which is a minty mojito.  Primordial Booze is a flavored lemonade with blueberry vodka for $10.50 and Carnotaurus Meteoritis is a bourbon sour for $10.25. There are also other mixed drinks available upon request.

As far as something to nosh on you’ll find two options on the menu.  The first Buffalo Chicken Dip with housemade chips for $8.99. Or you can try the Sweet-and-Spicy Mixed Nuts for $5.99.

Anyone else anxiously awaiting the opening of the Disney Skyliner?!  I know I am!  We’ve got updated Epcot Disney Skyliner construction photos for you today!

The Disney Skyliner is set to connect Epcot – via the International Gateway, Disney Riviera Resort – the 15th DVC property which is set to open in 2019,  Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.  This transportation in the sky will allow guests to ride in gondolas between these stops.

As you probably know, Mickey Mouse is celebrating 90 years of magic this year! To celebrate, ABC announced today a two-hour prime-time special celebrating 90 years of Mickey Mouse. From the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, the elegant affair will feature star-studded musical performances, moving tributes and never-before-seen short films. Superstars from music, film and television will join the festivities to celebrate the birthday of the internationally beloved character on “Mickey’s 90th Spectacular,” airing  Sunday, November 4 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.

One of the most acclaimed producers and directors of television and live events, Don Mischer has signed on to produce and direct the special prime-time event. “I’m delighted to be working on this magical event. Walt Disney was a major influence in my early life and actually inspired me to pursue
my life’s work in television,” said Mischer.

The 15-time Emmy Award winner and his Don Mischer Productions partners, Charlie Haykel and Juliane Hare, combine their extraordinary talents to help bring this once-in-a-lifetime celebration to life. “It’s remarkable how strongly Mickey Mouse connects with people around the world, and it’s an
honor for us to help celebrate such a beloved global icon,” said Haykel and Hare.

To celebrate 90 years of Mickey, Disneyland Paris is organizing a huge birthday bash with a very special programme. The kick-off whistle for this “Mickey 90 Mouse Party” will be blown on 1st October, with a new Halloween season at Disneyland Paris that will put the spotlight on the most famous mouse in the history of animation.

This year, Halloween promises to be a wickedly wonderful party and will also celebrate Mickey himself. He will steal the show with a brand-new float designed especially for him in the mini Halloween parade, a new attraction called “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra” will make its appearance at Discoveryland, and of course, Halloween wouldn’t be the same without the “Disney Villains”. Get ready to shiver with some unparalleled encounters and a spectacular show this Halloween at Disneyland Paris…

Mickey’s Halloween Cavalcade
Mickey’s Halloween Cavalcade, the most eagerly awaited parade of the season, is finally back with a bespoke addition: a brand-new float called “Mickey’s Illusion Manor”. The float will celebrate 90 years of imagination in the most mischievous of ways, with apparitions and disappearances… Yes, Mickey can’t wait to play some tricks on you. What’s more, he’ll also have help from some strange zombies and the three pranksters Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Scrooge’s nephews. No reason to panic though, as Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale, the Three Little Pigs, and many others will parade in their own floats, which will all exude cheerfulness and autumn colors.

The “Mickey 90 Mouse Party” will mark the arrival, on 1st October 2018, of a brand-new attraction: “Mickey and his PhilharMagic Orchestra”. Get ready to enjoy a new 4D experience at the Discoveryland Theatre. Once seated, you will find Mickey and Donald on the big screen. They will cast you into the very heart of some of the greatest Disney classics such as Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King, with new misadventures caused by the out-of-control Donald Duck. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have fun with Disney’s most popular songs and to celebrate 90 years of Mickey in style.

Disneyland Paris Celebrates Halloween and 90 years of Mickey Mouse

Face to face with the Disney Villains
Halloween is the season of all possibilities, especially for those who are dying to mingle with the most famous of Disney Villains. The terrifying Maleficent will cast a spell to transform the courtyard of Sleeping Beauty Castle into a huge briar bush taking the shape of her ominous dragon, and she will also be on-hand to meet with and take photos with the more daring of guests.

Disney Villains invite you to their show “It’s Good to be Bad with the Disney Villains!” at the Castle Theatre. Join the Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Cruella (101 Dalmatians), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), the Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland), Jafar (Aladdin), Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame), Dr Facilier (The Princess and the Frog), and also Cinderella’s stepsisters and stepmother, Drizella, Anastasia, and Lady Tremaine, for this not-to-be-missed show. Look out for intruder Donald, who dresses up as Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty) so that he can party with the Disney Villains. After the show, the Disney Villains will take malicious delight in posing for photos with you.

Even more encounters with Halloween stars
The Disney Villains aren’t the one ones preparing to invade Disneyland Park to celebrate their favorite season. Minnie, Stitch, Goofy, José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles (Donald’s partners in crime in the film The Three Caballeros) and even the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland promise new unforgettable encounters. A word of advice: don’t forget to grab the programme and map at the entrance to the Disney Parks to make sure you don’t miss anything.

Disneyland Paris Celebrates Halloween and 90 years of Mickey Mouse

In celebration of the Halloween season, a monstrously crazy and colorful atmosphere will take over Disneyland Park. Ghosts and pumpkins will invade Main Street, U.S.A., as well as Frontierland. Colorful, tall sculptures will also have their place at the heart of the festivities, and throughout the season you will be able to encounter the puppet of Miguel, the star of the Disney/Pixar film Coco, at the Fuente del Oro restaurant.
