Citrus Swirl Floats Have Returned To Sunshine Tree Terrace

Great news! Apparently Disney heard our complaints and the Citrus Swirl has returned to Sunshine Tree Terrace! Big thanks to Twitter user @expeditionruiz for sharing her picture of the newly updated menu. It was just last weekend that we reported the Citrus Swirl being removed from the menu. But thankfully it looks like we can now enjoy both the Citrus Swirl and the Orange Cream at the same time.

Both the Citrus Swirl Float and the Orange Cream Float are available for $5.29 while their cup counterparts are priced at $4.29. The Citrus Swirl has a more tart flavor and the new Orange Swirl is sweeter and can be compared to a Creamsicle. It should be noted that the Citrus Swirl a vegan-friendly option.

Last week I brought you the awesome news that a new playful and immersive Pixar character experience is going to debut as a pilot program at Disney’s Contemporary Resort beginning on April 13. Starting today, the reservation lines are officially open for Pixar Play Zone! This new experience is located on the 4th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Reservations Now Open For New Pixar-Themed Childcare At Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Disney describes the evening starting off with Space Ranger Training where kids will learn how to identify and battle enemies of the Star Command including how to identify enemies, like Zurg, and finally, the call of the Space Ranger, “To infinity and beyond!”. Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup. During the Piston Cup Challenge, youngsters will be able to build a race car, then race it on the Radiator Springs Racetrack. And finally, kids will learn some sweet dance moves during the Incredible Dance Party with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible.

Reservations Now Open For New Pixar-Themed Childcare At Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Doors will open each night at 5 p.m for check-in at the welcome desk. Then kiddos can stop at the “Monsters, Inc.” handwashing station before making their way to Boo’s Closet Door. This is where youngsters will be able to store any belongings before taking a couple of steps into an action-packed evening of Pixar fun.

Programming will run from 6-10:30 p.m. for kids ages 4-12 for a fee of $65 per child (plus tax). Children must be fully toilet-trained. Parents will be required to be physically present to check children in and out of the experience.

“Let him go!” cheered onlookers, as a man dressed as Elsa from “Frozen” pushed a police van out of a Boston snowbank. The 37-year-old attorney said he donned the Disney princess costume because he wanted to blend in during the storm, which dropped 16 inches of snow on South Boston.

Get ready because this Summer at Disney World is going to be “Incredible!” With the opening of Toy Story Land, new shows, and much more, there’s magic waiting around every corner at Disney World this Summer!

The Incredible Summer at Disney world kicks off on May 25. During the summer-long event, Guests are invited to immerse themselves in their favorite Disney movie, new attractions, entertainment offerings, and more!

Here’s a rundown of all the events:

An Incredible Tomorrowland Expo Begins at Magic Kingdom Park May 25

Favorite Disney•Pixar Super Heroes will take over Tomorrowland from May 25 through Sept. 3, as part of an Incredible Tomorrowland Expo that celebrates “all things super.” Guests can interact with Mr. Incredible, Frozone and other supers from Disney•Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and upcoming “Incredibles 2.” And, for the first time ever, guests will get to see Edna Mode. Tomorrowland will also be decked out with Incredibles décor and sounds from the film. Guests can also enjoy a “SUPER” dance party on the Rocket Tower Stage.

The Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! Concert Series Begins June 9
at Epcot

Star-Lord and Gamora from “Guardians of the Galaxy” will take guests on a musical journey through the cosmos in The Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! concert series. Shows will feature tunes from Star-Lord’s Awesome Mixtapes, the two movie soundtracks. The group will take the stage five times daily, June 9 through Aug. 19.

UP! A Great Bird Adventure & Donald’s Dino-Bash! Begin at Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Anniversary Celebration April 22

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will kick off their 20th anniversary celebration April 22, and will launch two new animal-themed experiences. Donald’s Dino-Bash! is a “dino-tastic” celebration where Donald Duck takes over Dinoland, U.S.A. to celebrate his recent discovery that ducks are descendants of dinosaurs. Feathered friends Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack and other friends of Donald will be on hand to meet guests. In addition to bringing his own decorating touch to the land, Donald will throw a nightly dance party where everyone is welcome to “shake their tail feathers.”

Also debuting April 22 is the new show, UP! A Great Bird Adventure, which features Russell and Dug from the Disney•Pixar animated film “UP.” In the new show, they’ll team up to discover species of birds from around the world.

Disney H20 Glow Party Nights Begin at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park June 21

As we shared earlier this week, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will join in on the Incredible Summer fun starting June 21, with new Disney H20 Glow party nights. The water park will transform on select evenings June 21-Aug. 11, when a glow party takes over the park from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. Tickets go sale March 19 and are $55 per person plus tax for adults and $50 per person plus tax for children ages 3-9. Toy Story Land Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios June 30

One major highlight of “Incredible Summer” will be the grand opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This new 11-acre land will shrink guests to the size of a toy and allow them to explore the fun and adventure of Andy’s backyard. There, guests can experience two new attractions: the family coaster Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Land also will feature an existing guest-favorite attraction, Toy Story Mania!, which will expand to add a third track into the rotation. The land’s Woody’s Lunch Box will be a new quick-service restaurant that will offer up tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats to Toy Story Land guests.

See “The Incredibles 2” at AMC Disney Springs June 15

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack, whose superpowers are emerging. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible. “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) has launched its first-ever “Carnivale of Stars” today, bringing on a rich line-up of excitement throughout spring and summer! The extended seasonal treat starts with Springtime celebrations today and will last till June 20, with a host of beloved Disney friends filling every day and night with Disney Magic. Brand-new spectacular offerings, including the “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show, the African-style Karibuni Marketplace and the atmosphere stage show “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration,” ensure guests enjoy an extraordinary Disney carnival starting from the new season of the year!

All-new “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show with dazzling visual effects and lighting

A series of surprises began to emerge during Springtime! More than 100 Disney friends are appearing in different ways with exciting activities around the resort from day to night. Starting from today, Minnie Mouse and her pals are inviting guests to a surprise party for Mickey Mouse at Disney’s all-new “We Love Mickey!” Projection Show along Main Street, U.S.A. every evening. This new surprise celebration will transform the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A. into a canvas for vibrant, colorful visuals that pay tribute to Mickey’s major milestones. The artistic experience features Mickey’s memorable classics, his full-color heyday and a crazy kaleidoscope of Mickey in modern styles. In the finale of the dazzling light show, Mickey will appear in his finest attire to thank everyone for the fantastic surprise. Itis a spectacle of color, music and visual effects that guests will want to experience again and again.

Disney friends inviting all guests to join the carnival across the park

There are new faces and long-time Disney friends appearing at different corners of the park during the “Carnivale of Stars.” Mickey, Minnie and the gang welcome the warm weather in their coolest spring outfits. Baymax and Hiro from Big Hero 6 await to greet guests in The Annex at Main Street, U.S.A., while Marvel Super Hero Black Panther and the brave heroine Moana make their debut appearances in Adventureland. Beginning in April, two more Marvel Super Heroes, Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man, will appear in Tomorrowland.

Come join the colorful “Disney Friends Springtime Processional” every afternoon when joyful music rings out along Main Street, U.S.A.! More than 30 Disney friends will be joined by nearly 50 performers and a colorful flower train to share cheerful songs and dance with guests. StellaLou will join Duffy, ShellieMay and Gelatoni in the processional for the first time in their brand-new spring outfits. Guests can also say hello to Disney friends including Judy and Nick from Zootopia, Alice and the White Rabbit from Alice in the Wonderland, Marie from The Aristocats, the Seven Dwarfs, Tigger and Piglet, and dance along in the vibrant and immersive processional.

The popular “Disney Character Egg Hunt” returns this year. Close to 100 character-themed eggs are scattered around the park and the resort hotels. Guests will have a cracking good time searching for the enlarged eggs decorated after Disney friends, Marvel Super Heroes and more! The biggest Easter Magicarnival at the resort’s three themed hotels

Adorable Spring-themed towel art will greet guests in the room to bring even more delight.

The resort’s three hotels will bring guests a series of Easter celebrations of the largest scale ever. The theme park will create a big splash of fun with the first-ever Disney∙Pixar-themed “Water Play Street Party” joined by various Disney∙Pixar stars, including Mr. and Mrs. Incredible from The Incredibles and beloved characters from Toy Story. Together with performers, they will ensure guests soak up a cool, water-filled summer celebrations along Main Street, U.S.A..

The transformation of Hong Kong Disneyland’s castle is fully underway. The transformed castle will pay tribute to 13 Disney Princess stories and take the park to new heights with all-new day and nighttime entertainment. The themed hoarding around the castle narrates the scenes of 13 Disney princess stories, with lyrics from the stories’ classic songs. Guests can scan the QR code on the hoarding with their mobile phones to find out more about the Disney princess stories and the offerings in the park that relate to the Disney princesses. HKDL invites every guest to join the magic and help create a Disney castle mosaic! Rapunzel’s Royal Table

The Disney Magic cruise ship returned from dry-dock a few days ago and with its return it also debuted a new Rapunzel themed dining room. At Rapunzel’s Royal Table, families delight in an all-new dining experience inspired by the beloved story of Disney’s “Tangled.”

The first table service restaurant themed to “Tangled” that features characters and live entertainment transports Disney Magic guests to the kingdom of Corona for an evening of music and interactive fun featuring Rapunzel, Flynn Rider and the mischievous Snuggly Duckling Thugs.
