Zach Braff and Friends Visit Pixar Fest

Yesterday, Zach Braff and some of the cast from ABC’s “Alex, Inc.” visited Disneyland Resort yesterday for Pixar Fest. He was accompanied by fellow actors Hillary Anne Matthews, Tiya Sircar and newcomer Audyssie James.

The actors first stop was Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park. Hillary, Tiya, Zach, and Audyssie had to stop and pose for a picture with the Buzz and Woody cars.

The next stop was Radiator Springs Racers, which happened to be Audyssie’s favorite attraction!

Enjoy Pixar Fest at the Disneyland Resort now through September 3. Be sure to watch for Tiya, Hillary, Zach and Audyssie on “Alex, Inc.,” on ABC. Zach stars as Alex Schuman, who quits his job in a brave effort to start his own podcast company, bringing his radio producer Deirdre (Hillary Anne Matthews), his cousin Eddie (Michael Imperioli), wife Rooni (Tiya Sircar), daughter (newcomer Audyssie James), and son (Elisha Henig). Be sure to tune in Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30 p.m. CDT.

Ellen’s Animatronic From Universe of Energy is Going to the Auction Block

Here’s your chance to own a piece of Epcot history! When the Universe of Energy ride shut down last year at Epcot, Ellen was on a mission to get her animatronic that was featured on the ride back. Ellen did eventually get her wish granted but was quite surprised to see what the animatronic looked like in real life. CLICK HERE to see the hysterical reveal!

Well, now that same animatronic is hitting the auction block. On May 5, the animatronic will be auctioned off in the Animation and Disneyana Auction. For display purposes, the head and clothes are the original pieces from the now-closed Epcot attraction and are now displayed on a mannequin.

Per the auction’s website, the Ellen animatronic in in “fine park used condition.”

Magic Run Weekend Returns to Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has announced it’s third annual villian filled Magic Run Weekend. From September 20th – 23rd, runners will meet villians from Disney, Star Wars and Marvel.

The Disneyland Paris 5k will feature Thanos, enemy of the Avengers, while the Disneyland Paris 10k will have runners sprinting away from the Disney Evil Sidekicks. Major Disney villians will also make an appearance during the course at the Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon.

Magic Run Weekend Returns to Disneyland Paris

A brand new 36k challenge featuring endless surprises will take runners on a magical run over three days with The Disneyland Paris 5k, Disneyland Paris 10k and Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon. The 31k challenge includes the 10k and half marathon races. Once complete, participants earn Disney-themed medals to commemorate their accomplishments. A special medal, the Castle to Chateau Challenge medal will also be awarded to any runner that completes the Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon along with any other runDisney half marathon or marathon within the same calendar year.

Magic Run Weekend Returns to Disneyland Paris

The Disneyland Paris Magic Run Weekend will also include the runDisney Health & Wellness Expo. Official runDisney merchandise will be on hand for runners to purchase. Participants are also invited to a high carb pasta dinner at Disney’s Hotel New York that Saturday evening before the half marathon on Sunday.

The first job fair will be held at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on May 3 from 9 am to 12 pm. This job fair is for all hotels and resorts in the Anaheim area. For more information, please CLICK HERE.

Disney’s Maleficent Sequel Cast Ed Skrein To Play A Villain

Production for the second installment of Disney’s Maleficent will start later this year with Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning returning to portray their original roles. Today it was announced that Ed Skrein, the English actor and rapper, will play a villain in the sequel. Playing the bad guy comes naturally to Ed, as his previous roles include the villain in the 2016 blockbuster, Deadpool.

In the first Maleficent, Sharlto Copley played the villain who stole Maleficent’s (Angelina Jolie) heart and then her fairy wings, turning her into the sorceress we are familiar with in the animated classic.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is expanding it’s “Party for the Planet” this year in honor of it’s 20th anniversary. The celebration will now last 2 weeks, from April 22nd to May 5th. Animal Kingdom opened April 22nd, 1998 and has been a park favorite for many guests. The recent addition of the new land, Pandora – the World of Avatar, brought new experiences that were out of this world.

Party For The Planet Expanding to a 2 Week Long Celebration

To celebrate this special anniversary, Animal Kingdom Park has many activities to delight guests of all ages. Tiffins Talks will feature conservation leaders speaking about their travels abroad to help reverse the decline of animals nearing extinction. This dining experience is a hard ticket event and will be available on select nights during “Party for the Planet”.
