PB & J Mummy Donut From Disneyland

Check out the PB & J Mummy Donut now at Disneyland for a limited time!  Lately the donut selections from the Disney parks have been incredible! This new Halloween donut is no different.  This cute little sweet is the perfect treat while you are Trick or Treating throughout Disneyland. You can find this donut wrapped up for just $5.49 at Schmoozies located in Hollywood Land in Disney’s California Adventure.

Schmoozies is also known for the Bat Shaped Whoopie Pie and the Caramel Apple Smoothie!  If you are feeling the need to cool off you can grab on e of their signature lavender lemonades as well!

Infinity Falls at SeaWorld Orlando Grand Opening on October 4th

Today, SeaWorld Orlando just announced the Grand Opening of the world-class attraction, Infinity Falls, will take place on October 4 at 12:00 pm. As an added bonus guests may be able to preview Infinity Falls September 28 through October 3 during the soft opening period.

Infinity Falls features roaring rapids, soaking fountains and a record-setting 40-foot waterfall drop, all against the backdrop of a rainforest utopia. Guests will have the opportunity to take on the role of a conservationist on a journey through the rainforest and learn about the importance of freshwater conservation through interactive games and stories throughout the ride experience.

Toy Story 4 is Making Tim Allen a Weeper

Why is Tim Allen crying a little more these days? He’s busy working on what should be a very emotional Toy Story 4. Everyone’s favorite space ranger is back with his friends, and Allen was on The Talk on Wednesday to discuss it.  Without going into plot details, he shared how touching this installment is for him.

When asked about recording the upcoming movie, Allen said, “This is an incredibly great story.  If you’re at all a superhero fan, Infinity Wars, that didn’t seem like it was going to work.  It was a lot of vignettes that all made sense.  This, Toy Story 4, we’ve only been through it once.  There will be several more incantations, but it is so emotional.  It’s so funny.  It’s so big, the idea they’ve come up with.  I’m startled.  Three was, I thought, amazing.  This, I couldn’t even get through the last scene.”

He says he can’t give away any more secrets, though he’d like to.

The Toy Story franchise began in 1995 with the introduction of Andy and his toys, odd couple Woody the cowboy and Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger, along with their friends.   Many fans have grown up with Andy and feel a unique connection to the series.  With the main cast returning for a fourth installment, there is something special about this world that Pixar has created.

Josh Cooley is taking his first shot at directing a full length feature for Disney and Pixar, though he did direct the shorts George and A.J. and Riley’s First Date.

Toy Story 4 hits theaters in June 2019.

Wicked Weekend Run returned to Disneyland Paris celebrating Disney Villains! For the third year in a row Disneyland Paris returned with a Magic Run Weekend. This year they celebrated Disney Villains with three race events and three challenges. They weekend was filled with lots of fun characters, entertainment, and creative costumes!

“Casting his shadow into the start of the race weekend celebration, Thanos from the Marvel Universe gazed over runners for the Disneyland Paris 5K, an evening race through the streets of Walt Disney Studios Park. Wicked Weekend Run at Disneyland Paris

Finishing off the weekend, runners in the Disneyland Paris-Val d’Europe Half Marathon made their way through the theme parks and the picturesque French countryside to complete their 13.1-mile adventure.  A big felicitations to participants who took on one or more of the three exciting race challenges, including the 31K Challenge and the debut of the 36K Challenge where runners completed all three events for a total of 22.4 miles. Those runners who participated in both the Half Marathon and a runDisney Marathon or Half Marathon from this year were able to earn their Castle to Château Challenge medal.

Disney Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey

The deadline for the 2019 Disney Dreamers Academy  is fast approaching. The last day to submit an application is  October 31,  2018. The upcoming Disney Dreamers Academy is scheduled for March 21-24, 2019.

Each year Disney, Steve Harvey, and Essence Magazine team up to provide 100 high school students with the chance of a lifetime. Selected students will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. One parent or guardian will be able to attend with their Dreamer.

During their magical 4 day program ,Walt Disney World turns into the ultimate classroom. Students will participate in a series of hands on activities and workshops designed to help them imagine bright futures and hone their leadership abilities. Students are encouraged to relentlessly pursue their dreams while working closely with celebrities, business leaders, Disney Cast Members, and community leaders.

Now entering it’s second decade, the programs “Be the 100” campaign was inspired by its alumni. Students who have completed the program have gone on to be successful in medicine, law, business, journalism and engineering.

Interested students should submit an application online. An essay is required detailing each perspective Dreamers personal journey and dreams. Applicants are selected based on a variety of factors including: strength of character, positive  attitude, and determination to achieve their dreams.

A haunting array of new Disney Parks Halloween Merchandise made it’s debut at the Emporium today for the new V.I.Passholder Pop-up Event. Fanciful new 25th anniversary Nightmare Before Christmas goodies, Haunted Mansion plush, and even new Dooney & Bourke Handbags all materialized just in time for Halloween.

These spooktacular new items went on sale this morning as an early release for Annual Passholders, but they are now available for purchase to everyone.

Lots of fright-tastic new pins are ready to haunt your collection, celebrating The Nightmare Before Christmas 25th Anniversary. There is even a new jumbo sized pin, for the ultimate Disney Pin collecting!

 

I’m loving this hauntingly fierce Jack Skellington purse. It features the 25 Years of Fright logo, with stunning orange and purple accents. Jack is the Pumpkin King, but this bag is definitely Halloween royalty.

A new purple raglan for women, and a unisex black tee featuring the 25 Years of Fright logo are also available, The purple coloring on the raglan is just stunning, and the orange accents really pop! The t-shirt has a very classic The Nightmare Before Christmas feel with the white contrasting artwork as well.

The new Candy Apple Cupcake at Sprinkles Disney Springs is an absolute autumn delight.  Even if it still feels like summer here in Walt Disney World, (Wonder)fall has arrived at Disney Springs.  Sprinkles has debuted another fantastic fall-inspired treat for Wonderfall – Candy Apple Cupcake. Make sure to stop by soon, because they will only be available until October 7th.

 To create the candy apple cupcake, they start with a spiced apple cake.  Then, the cupcake is filled with apple pie filling and generously frosted with caramel cream cheese frosting.  For the final touches, half of the top is dipped in dark chocolate ganache and then drizzled with vanilla glaze.  At only $5.25, it is a perfect afternoon snack or after dinner (or lunch) dessert.

Calling all witches, ghouls, and goblins, the Monster Donut has arrived at the Disneyland donut cart. Halloween at Disneyland is such a magical time of the year. The new monster donut is a hauntingly scrumptious way to start off your day while strolling next to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle or down Main Street. But hungry parkgoers beware, this delectable donut is only available for a limited time.

The Disneyland donut cart has transformed a normal everyday donut into a MONSTER, and we are thrilled about that.  The purple vanilla icing is topped with orange sprinkles, crushed oreo cookie, and monstrous gummies.  You can find the donut cart near Sleeping Beauty’s castle.  For only $6, this monstrous donut is big enough to share (or not LOL).

Attention all “Foolish Mortals’, the Chocolate Cauldron at Vivoli il Gelato Disney Springs is terrifyingly terrific.  The most spooktacular time of the year has arrived at Vivoli il Gelato of Disney Springs.  There is no better way to kick off the Halloween season than the Chocolate Cauldron.

If you are a chocolate lover and chocolate obsessed like me, then this is the milkshake for you.  Chocolate gelato and chocolate chip gelato are spun together with milk and then poured into a waffle cone that has been dipped in white chocolate and chocolate shavings.  Last but not least, a huge mound of whipped cream is added and drizzled with chocolate sauce and chocolate shavings. Did someone say chocolate?! For $11.50, this is shake is definitely big enough to share.

It is no secret at all that I have an obsession with chocolate.
