MuppetVision 3D Offers Extended Hours for Final Performance Day at Hollywood Studios
As the final curtain call approaches for MuppetVision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World is offering fans extended opportunities to experience the beloved attraction one last time. The long-running 3D show is set to permanently close after Saturday, June 7, 2025, to make way for the redevelopment of the Grand Avenue area into a new Monsters, Inc. Land.
In a departure from its traditional operating schedule, which often saw the attraction closing earlier than the rest of the park, MuppetVision 3D will operate for the entire park day on its final day. This will give more guests the chance to say their farewells to Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the entire gang.
The final operating schedule for MuppetVision 3D is as follows:
Wednesday, June 4: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Thursday, June 5: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday, June 6: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

MuppetVision 3D, which first welcomed guests in 1991, holds a special place in Disney history as one of the final projects personally overseen by the legendary Jim Henson. It has remained a sentimental favorite for many Disney park-goers and stands as one of the few remaining attractions based on The Muppets at Walt Disney World.
The closure is part of a significant transformation of the Grand Avenue section of Hollywood Studios into Monstropolis. This new land, inspired by the “Monsters, Inc.” franchise, is slated to feature the new Monstro Theater, a restaurant themed to Harryhausen’s, and a thrilling Monsters, Inc. flying door coaster. Magic Kingdom to Resume Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort Guests This August
Walt Disney World’s popular Extended Evening Hours benefit for deluxe resort guests is set to make its return to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The after-hours perk will shift back to the flagship park following a six-week summer run at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney’s official calendar confirms the schedule change. Before Magic Kingdom resumes hosting, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will offer the exclusive late-night access on the following Wednesday evenings:

For each of these dates, Extended Evening Hours at Animal Kingdom are scheduled to run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, after the park has closed to regular day guests. While Disney has not yet released the official list of available attractions for these specific Animal Kingdom evenings, previous similar events have typically featured popular experiences such as Flight of Passage, Na’vi River Journey, and Dinosaur.
There are so many ways to experience the feeling of a Disney Thrill across the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether it’s trying a new attraction, meeting a favorite Disney Character face to face, eating a classic Disney snack or ending the night with a nighttime spectacular, there is something to thrill the whole family. The highly sought-after Key to Disneyland, a special collectible released for the park’s 70th-anniversary celebration, has completely sold out across the entire Disneyland Resort. Guests hoping to get their hands on this popular item will have to wait, as it’s not expected to be restocked until the end of the month.
The Key to Disneyland is a special interactive souvenir, available for purchase at $59.99, that lets guests participate in a unique game spanning across Disneyland Park. As part of the experience, guests use the large toy key to unlock secrets and solve puzzles. Once the game is completed, the key itself transforms, revealing an exclusive trading pin as a reward for their efforts.
This novel souvenir and engaging experience were introduced as a highlight of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration. The Key to Disneyland game is set to continue throughout the anniversary festivities, which are scheduled to run until the summer of 2026, offering plenty of time for guests to participate.
According to Disneyland Resort Cast Members, the popular Key to Disneyland is currently unavailable, having sold out at all retail locations throughout the resort. Guests eager to acquire this interactive souvenir will need to wait until the end of June for new stock to arrive.
