Boba Fett Movie Is In the Works with James Mangold as Director

Star Wars fans, another stand-alone film is in the works and the story will be centered around the fan favorite bounty hunter, Boba Fett. A Boba Fett Movie is just what the franchise needs! This will be the franchises 3rd stand-alone film. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was the first, then Solo, and there is talks of Obi-Wan Kenobi being the 4th.

Boba Fett was a human male bounty hunter and the genetic clone of the infamous bounty hunter Jango Fett. Boba was created by the cloners on Kamino and was physically identical to the clone troopers created for the Grand Army of the Republic, though Boba was unaltered and did not grow at the same accelerated rate as the other clones. Raised as Jango’s son, Boba learned the combat skills necessary to one day become a bounty hunter in his own right.

During the rise of the Galactic Empire, Boba gained a reputation as one of the galaxy’s deadliest bounty hunters. Boba worked for Jabba the Hutt. Shortly after the Battle of Hoth, Boba and other bounty hunters were gathered by Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith, to locate Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, hoping to use them to lure Luke Skywalker into a trap. The plot was successful, and Boba took Solo, who was frozen in carbonite, to Tatooine to collect the bounty that Jabba had placed on him.

After Solo’s friends in the Alliance to Restore the Republic mounted a rescue on Tatooine, a battle broke out over the Great Pit of Carkoon. Boba fought against the Rebel rescuers and was inadvertently knocked into the sarlacc.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters May 25th.

"Ant Man and The Wasp" sneak peak

The next big Superhero action-adventure, “Ant Man and The Wasp” hits theaters this summer! At Disneyland an “Ant Man and The Wasp” sneak peak is coming!  For a limited time from June 8 – July 15, Disneyland park guests can get an advance look at scenes from “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” presented at the Tomorrowland Theater.

In the newest Marvel chapter, featuring superheroes with the ability to shrink, “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is sure to add another layer to our favorite Marvel world! In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. Struggling with rebalancing his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he is confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Once again Scott must put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

This latest Marvel film starts Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña, Academy Award® winner Michael Douglas, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris, and David Dastmalchian – all of whom are returning to their original roles on the big screen. Joining the cast will be Academy Award® nominees Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, along with Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins, and Randall Park. “Ant-Man” director Peyton Reed will be returning as well.

“Ant Man and The Wasp” hits US theaters July 6th.

A new Disney patent reveals that a user interface may be presented to a creator to facilitate the creation of narrative content. The user interface may be part of a system configured to generate recommendations pertaining to narrative content. The narrative content is meant to be experienced by users, e.g., in a virtual space. Feedback and/or other responses from the creator may be used to train and/or modify the generation of new recommendations. Feedback and/or other responses from the users may be used to train and/or modify the generation of new recommendations. We could possibly see this system somewhere in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

This rip-roaring good time is 200 million years in the making and deserves to be celebrated with cupcakes! And what a tasty cupcake this is! This is a yellow cake with lemon flavored white chocolate mousse filling and topped with buttercream frosting, yellow white chocolate crispy pearls and a red fondant bow! SeaWorld Orlando is saying THANK YOU to US Veterans and families. Now through July 4, 2018, U.S. veterans and up to three guests may enjoy free admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. This offer is also good at other SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment properties across the U.S. This is just another offer to join the ongoing SeaWorld Waves of Honor program that offers complimentary admission to any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman once per year, for the military personnel and as many as three direct dependents.

“The men and women who serve this country in the U.S. Armed Services are incredibly important, and we’re proud to extend our gratitude to these brave men and women and their families,” said John Reilly, interim CEO of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. “We hope this invitation to all veterans allows them to make incredible memories with their families at our parks.”

The Waves of Honor program was started by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in 2005.  Since it’s inception, more than 9 million active military, veterans and their families have visited the parks for free, which represents an estimated value of $300 million.

Moana: A Homecoming Celebration

Moana has arrived in Hong Kong! Moana: A Homecoming Celebration has officially opened for guests at Hong Kong Disneyland. You’ll find Moana and friends delighting guests in Adventureland during this atmosphere stage show.

This new show, which features dancing, music,  inspirational visual storytelling, and puppetry, recounts the adventures of Moana after she returns to her home village of Motunui. The show is set in an entirely new outdoor venue in Adventureland, Jungle Junction, that echoes the Pacific Islands architecture, décor and designs as seen in the smash-hit animated film.

This is an interactive show where guests are invited to take part and interact with performers.  They will do this by playing drums to joining forces in dramatizing the attack of the Kakamora pirates, to moving like ocean waves to help guide Moana on her journey, to cheering Maui as they encourage him to help Moana.

Moana: A Homecoming Celebration marks the first time any Disney park has produced a show featuring this brave and beloved heroine.

With over 30 tailor-made props, specially-created costumes and handcrafted decorations, all based on the animated film, “Moana,” and traditional Polynesian culture, the creative team behind the show spent over a year making it all come together.

And that’s not all – Hong Kong Disneyland guests can also meet Moana in person in Adventureland! There is also a series of offerings launching this summer, including hotel recreation activities, food and beverage and merchandise, themed around this Disney Princess.

And this is all just the beginning of the transformation at Hong Kong Disneyland.  From now through 2023 we will see new experiences opening almost every year, including an attraction featuring Ant-Man and The Wasp, immersive areas themed to Frozen and Marvel, and a transformation of the iconic castle with new daytime and nighttime shows!

You don’t want to miss all of the amazing new things coming to Hong Kong Disneyland over the next few years!

As we have been reporting, it’s going to be an “Incredible” Summer at the Magic Kindom and Walt Disney World! The much-anticipated event kicks off today, May 25, and runs all Summer long. If you have plans to take part in this limited-time event (or if you are making them now) here is your guide to explore all the fun!

“Incredible” Entertainment Options

Here’s all the entertainment options Guests will be treated to during the “Incredible” Summer at the Magic Kingdom:

  • Super Party Time: Offered daily from 2 to 7 pm, this dance party at Rockettower Stage will feature special appearances from your favorite characters along with unique acts and your favorite jams!

Magic Kingdom

  • Super, Super Fans: With appearances intermittently from 10 am to 6:30 pm, the biggest fans of the Supers will be interacting with Guests throughout Tomorrowland.

Incredible Summer

  • Jack-Jack Diaper Dash: This event occurs daily at noon and invites Guests to sign up their little Jack-Jacks to show off their crawling skills. The Diaper Dash is held at the Rockettower Stage and signups begin at 10:30 am.

  • Moments in Super History: Guests have the opportunity to pose with some “Incredible” photo props at these PhotoPass locations near the Carousel of Progress, Cool Ship, and Space Mountain.
  • Super Mobiles: These “Incredible” rides have yet to make their debut during the “Incredible” Summer at the Magic Kingdom but once they do Guests will be able to spot their favorite characters speed through Tomorrowland on them.

Disney has kicked off its Incredible Summer this weekend with the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo at Magic Kingdom Park. I’m excited to share that it looks like, in addition to the new Photopass locations and decorations, the Disney kitchens have been hard at work coming up with some SUPER Incredible Tomorrowland Expo food for us to try.

First stop is at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café where they have been inspired by Elastigirl with this Super Stretchy Burger! It has flame-grilled angus beef that’s piled high with deep-fried mozzarella sticks, American cheese, bacon, and garlic ranch sauce. And look at the bun! Of course, they still offer some pretty INCREDIBLE  burgers, chicken nuggets, rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, and salads.

Cosmic Ray’s also has an amazing looking Super Foods Salad which is a is a kale and spinach salad with quinoa, avocado, blueberries, and pico de gallo. You could definitely take on your evil nemesis after eating this.

The Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant has a Dash Pizza (Sicilian-style cheese or pepperoni), as well as tasty burgers, chicken tenders, sandwiches, and salads.

What’s a trip to Walt Disney World if you don’t indulge your sweet tooth? Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodie’s is the place to go for a SUPER new treat. Edna Mode’s “No Capes, Just Crêpes” Crêpe Sundae gives you two amazing options to try. The first is a chocolate-hazelnut crêpe topped with ice cream and berries (seen above), and the second is a blackberry-lavender jam crêpe topped with ice cream and fruit-flavored cereal.

Looking for an INCREDIBLE snack? Then look no further than The Lunching Pad. It’s here that you’ll discover the Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask which is a soft pretzel that comes topped with black salt and can be paired with cheese sauce or some yellow mustard. We can’t leave Jack-Jack out of the fun. You can also find freshly baked mini-chocolate chip Jack-Jack Cookies that are perfect for an on-the-go snack.

Of course, our favorite cool Super has to be represented with Frozone’s Sno-Cones which are blue raspberry-flavored. They are the perfect treat for the hot summer days.

New In-Park Ticket Purchasing Options Being Trialed at Animal Kingdom Theme Park

For guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park between now and September 29, 2018, be on the lookout for new in-park ticketing options available at the Ticket Corner.

According to a recent piece in Orlando Theme Park News, Walt Disney World is trialing a new ticketing kiosk just out the Discovery Trading Company.  This will enable guests to make the following transactions without leaving the park.

  • You can add days or options such as Park Hopper to already existing tickets.
  • Guests can purchase tickets for special ticketed events
  • Visitors can convert your tickets to annual passes.

The Ticket Corner will be open during regular park hours each day.

Walt Disney World has kicked off it’s “Incredible Summer” this weekend, which will delight guests with new attractions and experiences for at all four parks! As part of the excitement you’ll find lots of brand new Incredibles 2 Merchandise at all four parks, and Disney Springs!

The most heroic family in the Pixar Universe is back again to save the world this summer! There is a whole assortment of incredible items to commemorate the new movie, as well as your Disney trip. From toys to pajamas, to tumblers, and pins there is something for every hero, of any age. You can check out this heroic assortment below.

It looks like Edna Mode is making a bigger appearance in the Incredibles merchandise, which is fabulous darling fabulous. Not only will you find fun toys, apparel, there is also artwork available too! You’ll find every heroic thing you can think of, except well capes of course, no capes!
