The re-imagined Pixar Pier opens to the pubic this Saturday, June 23 at California Adventure in Disneyland. When you enter Pixar Pier, be prepared to find yourself fully immersed in the popular stories of Pixar!

You will find Pixar Pier located along the shores of Paradise Bay. Once open, it will feature exciting attractions such as re-themed Incredicoaster, imaginative neighborhoods, and of course, food locations inspired by your favorite Pixar movies.

Pixar Pier was brought to life b from an incredible collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios. To see how this Pixar magic is coming from the screen to Disneyland Resort, check out this video below:

Opening this summer in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park is Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, a new merchandise location inspired by characters from the Pixar film, “Inside Out”. Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff features Bing Bong’s sweet candy tears, with delightful confectioneries, saltwater taffy, and rainbow cotton candy.

Also available at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff will be an array of “Inside Out” themed popcorn. Adorable flavors offered include Confetti for Joy, Fruit Punch for Fear, Blue Raspberry for Sadness, and of course Red Hot Candy for Anger.

Calling all Space Rangers! It’s time to show off your impressive wingspan at Disney California Adventure where a new Buzz Lightyear wall has appeared. You can find this great photo op on the blue wall in the Hollywoodland Backlot.

The Buzz Lightyear wall is a new addition during PixarFest happening throughout Disneyland Resort until Sept 3. Hurry as Buzz’s wings will only be around for a limited time before he flies back to protect the Galaxy from the Evil Emperor Zurg, sworn enemy of the Galactic Alliance!

Pixar Fest, the biggest Pixar celebration ever to come to Disney Parks, brings guests together to celebrate friendship and beyond for a limited time, today through Sept. 3, 2018.

This first-ever Pixar Fest presents some of the beloved characters and stories from Pixar Animation Studios in new and exciting ways at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and throughout the resort. Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Disney California Adventure Park is already gearing up to be a guest favorite! Scheduled to open later this summer as a part of Pixar Pier, everyone’s fluffy pink, imaginary friend has a few amazing treats in store. I personally, can’t wait for this Rainbow Unicorn Apple.

This magical Granny Smith apple is dipped in caramel and chocolate. It’s decorated with colorful sugar, fondant and marshmallows. Don’t you just love his adorable, grumpy face?

Along with the Rainbow Unicorn Apple, there will also be an apple featuring Bing Bong himself. There will even be Buddy Cake Pops, frozen beverages and Disney Parks merchandise. All sorts of sweet treats and take home souvenirs to choose from!

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff will be located along Pixar Pier along with the new Incredicoaster and four amazing Pixar inspired neighborhoods. The neighborhoods will feature everyone’s favorite Pixar movies such as Toy Story, Up, Inside Out, The Incredibles and more.

Marshmello and DuckTales Fly Music Video

Marshmello and Disney’s “DuckTales” are taking on “Fly.” This special “Fly” music video will premiere on Saturday, June 23rd during the Disney Channel airing of “The Incredibles” at 6:00pm EDT/PDT and as a lead in for the “2018 Radio Disney Music Awards” (RDMA) at 8:00pm EDT/PDT. You will also be able to view the music video in the DisneyNow app.

A mix of animation and live-action, the music video launches Scrooge, his nephew Donald, great-nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie and their friend Webby into a musical outer space adventure. When their spaceship unexpectedly crashes, they encounter an alien DJ on a remote Marshmello planet.

Marshmello will also perform at the 2018 RDMA and is a top nominee with four nominations. His music video “Fly” was released in March and has nearly 48.5 million views on his official YouTube channel. Since his arrival on the music scene in 2015, Marshmello’s YouTube channel has amassed over 2.6 billion views with more than 15 million monthly subscribers.  On June 22, the world-renowned DJ/producer will release his highly anticipated sophomore album “Joytime II,” a follow-up to 2016’s “Joytime,” which landed him in the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums, with the track “Alone” off the album garnering over 154+ million Spotify plays and over 1 billion video views on YouTube, making it certified platinum in only one year.

Pixar Pier at Disney’s California Adventure Park is opening in a few short days! Along with the new Incredicoaster and Pixar inspired neighborhoods, a brand new sweet’s shop is opening. Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff will be packed with everything to satisfy any sweet tooth. Buddy Cake Pops are already a hit in Disneyland but Bing Bong’s will be featuring these new Toy Story inspired ones as well!

In addition to Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear cake pops, WALL-E and Eve will make an appearance in cake pop form. Other buddy characters are sure to be included also. The cake pops will change out every so often to feature new characters.

Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Pixar Pier is sure to be a hit with guests of all ages. The shop will also have everything from candied apples and frozen drinks to Disney parks merchandise. It has definitely been added to my list of must visits!!

With less than two weeks to go, we are in the final countdown until Toy Story Land officially opens at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. If you’re as excited as me, you will love this video Walt Disney Imagineering just shared which shows them putting the finishing touches on the new land.

In the video below, you will see Imagineers Ryan Wineinger, Shannon Mashchak and Alexis Cummins showing us the various departments within Walt Disney Imagineering came together to make this popular Disney-Pixar movie a thrilling new land. You will also get a look at one of the smaller but important details they’ve added to the land – graphics, such as those that appear on toy boxes and game boards that add authenticity to the land’s selection of toys.

“The graphics tell a story because they really help ground where you are,” said Graphic Designer Alexis Cummins. “Any visual is really going to do that for guests, especially at Toy Story Land. We’re using all of the things Andy would actually have at his disposal to make our signs and graphics.”

Want to know the favorite graphic of the Imagineers? It’s the box for Wheezy that guests will pass when they are waiting in line for Slinky Dog Dash. 

“My favorite thing about it is it really does give you more information about where Wheezy came from, how long Andy’s had him and it’s just a great graphic,” Alexis said.

Coming to Walt Disney World in 2019

  • Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – this highly anticipated new land will feature a full-sized fleet of X-wing starfighters, a life-size Millennium Falcon starship, and 2 jaw-dropping attractions. One attraction puts you in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance- and the other attraction gives you a chance to operate the Millennium Falcon.
  • Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – the first ever ride-through attraction themed to Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse is sure to delight. Phantom Manor Reopening Is Delayed to Early 2019

Phantom Manor fans, beware! With all of the work being done on this classic attraction, the Phantom Manor reopening has been delayed to early 2019.

While the original plan was for the refurbishment to last only until this Fall, things have been taking a little longer than expected. The reopening will bring with the return of Vincent Price as his narration is reworked into this spooky, fan-favorite attraction.

In addition, Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald, hinted to Fan Daze attendees that we will all finally learn who the titular phantom really is.

What else is there for guests to look forward to this summer? How about an entire summer long event featuring your favorite Marvel Superheros?

And right around the time of the Phantom Manor reopening, we will also see the beginning of a major expansion as the Disneyland Paris Resort will begin to develop Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen lands. All of which we do not want to miss!
