Yee-haw! The long wait is finally over as we now know that Jessie’s Critter Carousel will officially be opening at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park in April 2019!

Disney California Adventure Park underwent a major transformation in 2018 with the newly reimagined Pixar Pier. Celebrating the stories and beloved characters from your favorite Pixar movies, Pixar Pier opened with exciting attractions, themed neighborhoods, whimsical eateries, and memorable character interactions. Jessie’s Critter Carousel is a highly anticipated attraction that will provide a rootin’ tootin’ good time for patrons of Pixar Pier.

Guests will mosey on over to the giant toy carousel starring Jessie, everyone’s favorite yodeling cowgirl along with friendly desert critters such as an armadillo, snake, turtle, bunny and more from the world of Woody’s Roundup. Sakura Festival at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs Is Back By Popular Demand

Back by popular demand for the second year, Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs will be hosting their annual month-long Sakura Festival. The Sakura Festival is a Japanese tradition that is also known as the cherry blossom festival.

Morimoto Asia’s Sakura Festival will be held from March 8^th to March 31^st. The restaurant will be decorated with vibrant décor which will showcase the pink blooms of the cherry blossom. Make sure you get plenty of pictures during your visit as the décor will be perfect for showing off on Instagram!

Menu specials inspired by the cherry blossom will be offered during the festival. Like any festival, including the ones that are held in Japan, there will be a series of ticketed events that guests may attend. Here is some information on two of those events!

Crooked Can Happy Hour

When: Friday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m

Details: Kick off the festival with Crooked Can Brewing Company’s brewmasters to taste the Sakura Kolsch, available only at Morimoto Asia paired with a gourmet selection of Pan-Asian light bites upstairs in the Forbidden Lounge. Crooked Can offerings will be available for $5. No tickets are necessary.

When: Sunday, March 10 from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Get excited because starting this weekend, a sneak peek of the all-new, live-action film “Dumbo” will be available!

A preview of Disney’s new adventure can be seen on the Disney Cruise Line ships, at the Walt Disney Presents attraction in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios, and in the Main Street Opera House in the Disneyland park for a limited time only.

With the classic Indian tempo of Kathak, the proud folk-style music of Bhangra, and the contemporary Bollywood dance choreography, Bollywood Beats has something to everyone to tap their toes to. The performers in the show are vibrant and animated as they swing through this interactive performance.

Walt Disney World Celebrates International Women’s Day March 8th

In honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Walt Disney World will be offering special theme park experiences to celebrate!

Over at Disney Springs, special dark chocolate ganache squares can be found at the Ganachery. Also there, is the “Power Pinata”, in homage to Captain Marvel. Crack open the pinata for a sweet surprise! Over at Amorette’s Patisserie, they’ll have a Pink Macaron Lollipop to show their support of the day.

Over at the Star Wars Launch Bay in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will be able to meet Rey alongside her pal Chewbacca. The citizens of Municiberg will be honoring the Super-women of their city as part of the ongoing “An Incredible Celebration“. The ladies of the Green Army Patrol will also be proudly marching through parts of Toy Story Land.

Special snacks on hand in the park will be Mrs. Incredible Pretzle Masks at the Neighborhood Bakery, Key Lime Pie Verrine at Backlot Express and Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake at Catalina Eddie’s. You’ll also find the Tres Leche cake at Fairfax Faire for the day.

Everybody’s favorite very clever bunny is going to be on hand to celebrate at the Magic Kingdom! Officer Judy Hopps, along with Joy, from Inside Out, will host a “Sisters Soiree Dance Party” in Tomorrowland, along with some other favorite female characters.

Special snacks on hand for the day will be Strawberry Shortcake Shooters at the Cheshire Cafe and Westward Ho, in Frontierland.

EPCOT is the place to be for celebratory snacks! Fountain View will offer a Purple Dome Minnie Cake – perfect for the occasion. The Kringla Bakery in the Norway Pavilion has special Purple Cupcakes that you can also find at Sunshine Seasons. Akershus will be serving up a Marscapone Apple Cake for dessert at its meals for the day. Also in Norway at the Beer Cart, they’ve got Purple Troll Kreme Slush! Last, but not least, the Biergarten in Germany will offer International Women’s Day cookies at their buffet.

The Voices of Liberty will also be giving special performances inside the American Adventure pavilion, celebrating women with acapella versions of empowering songs!

Guest who would like to take a bite of the special International Women’s Day Cupcake can head to Creature Comforts or Restaurantosaursus over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. International Women’s Day Cookies can also be found at various outdoor vending locations throughout the park.

We have been waiting so long but the new Live-Action Dumbo is coming to the big screen in just a few weeks. On March 29th fans can sore into theaters to fall in love with this remake of the classic animated film.

Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Check Out The Jonas Brothers New Single and Music Video for “Sucker”. Fans of the Jonas Brothers were ecstatic to hear the news on February 28, 2019 that the Jonas Brothers were reuniting and releasing a new sure-to-be-a-hit single, “Sucker” that very night at midnight.

Sucker is the first song released by the band since their very public break up in 2013. Since then the brothers have worked on solo projects, passion projects, television shows, a new band, and production work, but never working all together on the same project. That all changed in the summer of 2018 when the brothers secretly decided to reunite and worked together to record a new single and even a new music video and managed to successfully keep it out of the public eye for months.

Reports circulated that the brothers and their significant others had travelled to meet up in London but no one knew why, until now. While on that trip they recorded Sucker and filmed the music video along with their wives and fiancee, Danielle Jonas (Kevin), Priyanka Chopra-Jonas (Nick), and Sophie Turner (Joe), aka Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones.

Sucker currently holds the number one spot on iTunes top 100 and will be sure to take its rightful place on Billboard Top 40 within the week. The Jonas Brothers have been celebrating with fans by releasing short promos on their social media accounts, for the first time in years, including a video with James Corden announcing the band reuniting. You can view that video here as well! Check it out.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick will be hosting The Late Late Show with James Corden all next week starting Monday, March 4th. What could this mean? Could another big announcement be headed out way? Maybe a new album? Or even a tour in the works? Regardless, most 20-something’s you know are probably freaking out about this exciting news!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival returns March 6th! In addition to all of the incredible merchandise collections debuting, Annual Passholders have a beautiful new line of exclusives just for them. The Flower and Garden Passholder Merchandise will star pop culture favorite, Figment!

There will be two waves of passholder exclusive merchandise released throughout the festival, The first wave will launch at the start of the festival on March 6, with the second wave of exclusives debuting on April 11.

Starting March 6, Passholders will find a Figment t-shirt that has front and back designs, a colorful Tervis tumbler mug, a stunning limited-edition MagicBand, trading pins, a Pandora charm, a Donald and Spike mug and a Dooney & Bourke Tassel Tote. Beginning March 6th passholders will also be able to pick up their exclusive Pluto magnet.

Both pins will be a limited release, and feature two different Figment designs that are featured throughout the Flower and Garden Festival merchandise.

Celebrating St David’s Day and St Patrick’s Day at Disneyland Paris!

Since March 2006, Disneyland Paris has paid homage to Wales and Ireland by celebrating St David’s and St Patrick’s day every year, both in the Park and in the Disney village. In Disneyland Park, special entertainment and animations happen around Videopolis.

St David’s on the 9th of March.

On the Videopolis stage- the only men aloud choir will perform a selection of traditional and popular welsh songs accompanied by the saint daid dance troupe. Disney performers will also display their own show paying homage to Wales. Mickey and Minnie will be dressed in traditional welsh costumes when greeting guests.

Guests will also be able to enjoy free makeup at the entrance of Videopolis.

Central Plaza: At nightfall, before Disney Illuminations!, Guests will be able to admire the night show “Dreams of Wales” which will pay homage to the Welsh culture and its emblems through sound and lights.

Disney Village: from the 8-10th March at 4 pm, the Disney Village will celebrate St David’s day through live concerts and welsh markets! Entry is free!

Saint Patrick’s Day

On the Videopolis stage: An Irish dance group will ignite the Videopolis stage alongside other featured Irish bands on this Ireland-themed day. Mickey and Minnie dressed in their traditional Irish costumes will also greet guests!

Around Videopolis: Guests will also enjoy free makeup at the entrance to Videopolis.

Central Plaza: At nightfall and just before Disney Illuminations!, guests will be able to admire the night show “Dreams of Ireland” which will celebrate the Emerald Isle and its culture.

Disney Village: on the 17th March, from 3 pm, guests can experience live entertainment and music in the Disney Village for free!

Mickey Donut Cookies Now at Magic Kingdom

New Mickey Donut Cookies are available inside Big Top Souvenirs at Magic Kingdom. These delicious and adorable Mickey shaped, shortbread cookies resemble that of a donut. There is one larger “donut” on the bottom and then two smaller “donuts” to shape Mickey’s ears. The frosting helps complete the look of a donut.

There are two Mickey Donut Cookie flavors offered. The first one has pink vanilla frosting and then the second offers chocolate frosting–both with multi-colored crunchy sprinkles, on the shortbread cookie! YUM!

One cookie costs $5.49 or can be redeemed for a snack credit if you are utilizing the Disney Dining Plan. The value is incredible here if you are using a snack credit. It’s big enough to share and/or pair with your morning cup of joe.

Which flavor shortbread cookie is more appealing to you? I can’t decide which flavor is better. I would love to see a little more icing put on there, but let’s be honest, I love icing, so no surprise there! Disney is playing their food game strong, and I hope they don’t stop because these Mickey shaped donut cookies are truly amazing. Good job, Disney!
