Earlier, it was announced Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland will serve alcoholic beverages. The cantina, run by Oga Garra, an enterprising alien will serve a unique menu catering to both children and adults. While the rules may be different in a galaxy far, far away, consuming alcohol while walking around Disneyland Park has always been a no-no. It looks like this policy will continue, at least for the time being. In answer to a question asked on Twitter, Disneyland AP has confirmed what many have wondered. Any alcoholic beverages purchased from Oga’s Cantina will need to be enjoyed prior to leaving the establishment.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is expected to offer a very authentic experience. From construction photos, and with all the details released so far we can see that visitors will really feel like they have been transported to Batuu. Oga’s is known in the Star Wars films as the place to go to avoid the authorities. The people who gather in the establishment may be on the up and up, or perhaps not. Regardless of one’s intentions or business, each visitor is held to the code of conduct Oga has instituted. The cast of characters visiting the Cantina will certainly have some stories to tell.
Visitors taking a pit stop from their exportation of Batuu will be able to enjoy beverages concocted from exotic or perhaps unusual ingredients. Surely while sipping on their drinks guests will want to linger and enjoy the entertainment. Music will be provided by RX-24 the cantina’s DJ.
