Another delicious brunch option is coming to Disney Springs! Starting March 30th, 2019 Wine Bar George will begin serving a “Wine Country Brunch”. Brunch will be served on Saturdays & Sundays only, from 11am – 3pm.

Featured menu items include a specialty French Toast which includes brioche bread stuffed with mascarpone and topped with a caramel sauce. For something more on the savory side, the Burrata is toasted ciabatta topped with bacon & avocado with a creamy serving of burrata cheese on top.

Pair your meal with a brunch cocktail, like the Aperol Rose Spritz or Sangria (by the carafe) or the specialty Dole Whip Mimosa!

Wine Bar George opened in May of last year, at The Landing at Disney Springs to rave reviews. The estate-style wine bar offers more than 130 wine selections from acclaimed wineries, handpicked by Master Sommelier George Miliotes.

The New Incredible Secret Identity Slush: Identity Revealed!

The Incredible section in Hollywood Studios is amazing! As you may recall, back in January we highlighted a few new treats, including the Incredible Secret Identity slush, which arrived at Pixar Place! Among the new treats are Jack Jack’s Num Num cookies, Mrs. Incredible Pretzel Mask, the Frozone Slush and the Incredible Secret Identity Slush.

We are excited to take a closer look at the Incredible Secret Identity Slush! Why is it called the secret identity slush? Don’t you want everyone to know you are a superhero? When asked about her secret identity Mrs. Incredible responded, “Of Course I have a secret identity! Can you see me in my suit at the supermarket? Come On! Who’d want to go shopping as Elastigirl, know what I mean?”

Thank you, Mrs. Incredible, that is valuable input, however, we are still going to reveal the secret identity of the slush. Fans, it is your mission to keep the identity top secret!

Guests can purchase this frozen coke slush which is topped with cherry cotton candy and whipped cream. Not sure what the Incredible fans think, but that sounds like the perfect pairing to us! To top off this amazing slush there are pop rocks on top to add a little POW, BOOM, BAM!

New 30th Anniversary Signage at Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing for its 30th anniversary with new signage around the park!

Hollywood Studios originally opened on May 1st, 1989. The anniversary celebration will include the debut of the Wonderful World of Imagination. This show will take you on a journey through 90 years of Disney animation.

Hollywood Studios has been making large and small scale upgrades for the upcoming openings of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.

The bus loops have been changed and the Skyliner is almost up and running. Now, guests in the park and strolling down Hollywood Boulevard can peek at the new 30th anniversary signs too.

Guests will notice art-deco style anniversary signs on the street lights down Hollywood Boulevard. In addition, signs decorated with beloved characters from “Monsters, Inc.”, “Toy Story”, and “The Incredibles” can also be seen with the 30th-anniversary logo.

New Map To Debut At Disney’s Hollywood Studios On March 31

It is no secret that the 30^th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is coming up. While this milestone will be achieved technically on May 1, 2019, the theme park has already been celebrating.

Starting on March 31, 2019, a newly updated park map will make its debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new design will feature the 30th-anniversary logo. It will also feature a photo from the all-new Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy show. While the area of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is labeled in the My Disney Experience app, it is not in this new map. Check out the design below. I must say that I find this updated park map super adorable and am loving the new design!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been celebrating its 30^th anniversary! All the details can be found HERE. The Incredibles made their debut at the park on January 18 complete with a meet and greet with Edna Mode as well as a dance party. A meet and greet with Mike and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.” also made its debut. Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy opens March 31 which perfectly aligns with the new park map! The Wonderful World of Animation will debut on May 1 to take Guests on a magical journey through more than 90 years of Disney animation. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will make its debut later this year. Lastly, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open to Guests starting on August 29, 2019.

Disney Dreamers Academy 2019 Four Day Adventure

Disney Dreamers Academy 2019 kicked off last Thursday at the Magic Kingdom for a four day adventure. Now in it’s twelfth year, this event hosts one hundred students from around the country. Dreamers participate in career focused activities that encourage team efforts. Each day brings new adventures and experiences.

Day 1:

Selfies with Mickey Mouse, a Disney Dreamers 2019 parade and a Welcome Ceremony were some of the highlights of the first day. The one hundred students posed with Mickey in front of Cinderella Castle. They walked, and rode, the afternoon parade route with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald.

Day 2:

Career workshops and Image makeovers were some of the highlights of the Disney Dreamers Academy 2019 second day. Mickey Mouse stopped by to check on student progress during the day. Dreamers were showcased during the evening for a tie and pearl ceremony. Some of the teens showcased their image makeovers center stage.

Day 3:

Ruth Carter, award winning costume designer, presented Dreamers with an inspiring talk. Students showcased their work during Career Open Mouse that evening. The day closed with a Dessert Party designed specifically for Disney Dreamers Academy 2019.

Day 4:

Commencement Day began with musical performances and a welcome address by George Kalogridis. Steve Harvey shared some words of wisdom with the Disney Dreamers. The morning proceeded with an awards ceremony and a presentation of class rings.

The Commencement Ceremony concluded with a performance by the Animal Kingdom Cast of the Lion King show.

Disneyland is Testing Mobile-Only Ordering for Dole Whips

If you are a Dole Whip fan waiting in the line to order can seem like the longest wait of the day. The tropical frozen treats are arguably one of the most popular treats at Disneyland, and the line stretching down the path in Adventureland supports this theory. However, starting March 28, Dole Whip lovers will be able to skip the line with a new mobile-only ordering feature. Rather than stand in the congested and seemingly never-ending line at the Tiki Juice bar, those craving the sweet treat will order and pay on the go then pick up at the familiar location.

Guests who prefer to pay with cash, credit or debit cards will still be able to order at Tropical Hideaway. This new location is not so new per se, but is newly reimagined into a quick service dining location. Tropical Hideaway is tucked conveniently between The Enchanted Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise. Offering a new spin on the traditional Dole Whip, Tropical Hideaway has several flavors of the tasty treats. Options include floats, swirls, and loaded whips. Additionally, diners can choose to adorn their Dole Whip of choice with different toppings.

The mobile-only ordering option is part of what Disneyland is calling the Project Stardust Initiative. The project is designed to identify and alleviate the crowds that inevitably seem to gather at certain spots in the park. These pinch points make passing difficult and impede the pedestrian flow of travel throughout the park. The initiative takes a look at how to best handle the crowds expected when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens May 31.

If you would like to try the new mobile-only ordering option the window to do so is short. The test run is occurring from March 28-3o at Tiki Juice Bar. With any luck, the test will be deemed a success and waiting in a long line for the frosty treat will be a thing of the past.

El Capitan Theater Presents Special Engangement of Disney’s Dumbo

From March 28- April 21, El Capitan Theatre presents Disney’s live-action Dumbo in a whole new way!

The El Capitan Theatre is taking guests into Dumbo’s world under the Big Top- with live circus performers before the film, costumes from the movie set, and photo ops. “We are thrilled to welcome our El Capitan Guests under the Big Top with our special engagement of Disney’s DUMBO,” said Ed Collins, General Manager of The El Capitan Theatre. “We have transformed our theatre into the world of Dumbo’s circus, complete with mesmerizing live performances of Circus Arts, and photo ops to create memories of a lifetime. It’s the kind of experience you just can’t get anywhere else other than The El Capitan Theatre.”

El Capitan Theatre guests can even be among the first to screen Disney’s Dumbo at 7:00 PM on March 28, 2019. (Doors will open at 6:00 PM). Tickets to The Special Opening Night are $30 and include a Reserved Seat, souvenir popcorn container with one refill, 20 oz Bottled Drink, and surprises!

Easter is coming to the Disney Village on the 21st and 22nd April! Filled with egg-cellent activities for the whole family. Children will be the Guests of Honour at the Disney Village labyrinth and invited to join in a traditional egg hunt. Meanwhile, the Disney Village Streets will be bursting with entertainment with circus and ambulatory performers!
