Just in time for the Halloween season at Disneyland, is two new pairs of Nightmare Before Christmas Ears! Inspired by Sally, and Jack & Oogie, these hauntingly fabulous ears are ready to add a spooky dash of haunted style to your Disney outfits.
Last year we fell in love with the Sally Minnie Ears, and it looks like there is a gorgeous new updated pair this year! Sally’s patchwork dress adorns the ears and headband of this pair. The ears are then topped off by a sequined pale blue bow, with stitches like her skin.
The second pair of Nightmare Before Christmas ears are very unique, and capture the haunting style of Tim Burton’s iconic film. These ears are a black faux leather, that have white silhouettes of Jack, and Oogie on the front, with Zero on the back. They have a minimalist design that really lets the characters stand out in a bold contrast.
Both of these new Nightmare Before Christmas Ears are available now at the Disneyland Resort! There will also be a pair of Oogie Boogie Minnie Ears debuting for Disneyland’s new Oogie Boogie Bash. The fright-tastic Oogie Boogie ears will be a party exclusive.

There are new options on the MagicBand upgrade menu!
Recently, Disney has added the option for guests and Annual Passholders to upgrade their MagicBands before a trip.
You can now swap out the standard band for something more exciting. The upgraded MagicBands are available for a discounted price and there are a ton of adorable prints, patterns, and designs to choose from.
Although the prices vary, the upgraded bands are about 50% cheaper than what you would pay in the theme parks.
There are two NEW MagicBand options currently on the upgrade menu!
The first is a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge band. Galaxy’s Edge opens on August 29th in Walt Disney World, and this new MagicBand would be the perfect accessory on opening day!
The Galaxy’s Edge band is a two-tone gray and features the “fastest hunk of the junk in the galaxy”. It is available for $29.99.
The second of the new MagicBand options is themed after Halloween. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party begins on August 16th and this band would go perfect with any costume! This band is available for $15.00.
The usual lineup of upgradeable MagicBands includes fun designs themed after Dole Whips, Cinderella’s Castle, Toy Story, and many more. Check them out below:
Act fast because all of the MagicBand upgrade options tend to sell out quickly! If you’d like to wear one of these bands on your next trip, be sure to order at least 6 days prior to your check-in date.

Reports online are stating Disney testing for the new Halloween Not-So-Spooky Spectacular show.
Disney sent out a letter to resort guests stating they were “gearing up for an exciting fall season” and warned that they “may experience noise impacts.”
I don’t know about you but I am excited about the upcoming Fall/Halloween Season at Walt Disney World. I wouldn’t mind being awoken by a little noise.
The Disneyland Resort has made guest experiences more convenient with their Mobile Ordering dining option. There are now over 30 different food, snack, and beverage locations for guests to mobile order from. Also, the resort has added 6 more locations in both parks!
Now, guests will be able to use their mobile device to order from 6 new selections using their Disneyland App. At the Disneyland park, you can now mobile order from the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square and the Troubadour Tavern that is next to the Fantasyland Theater.
At Disney California Adventure park, you can now mobile order from Schmoozies!, Rita’s Baja Blenders, Pacific Wharf Distribution Co., and Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats.
Conveniently pick up delicious from any of these recently added locations. All you have to do is open up your Disneyland App and select order now. Then, select your window of choice and make your order. Then make your way to the order window and let them know you have arrived! It doesn’t get much easier than that!

ABC to host ‘The Little Mermaid Live!‘ Starring Auli’i Cravalho and Queen Latifah. To honor the 30th anniversary of one of the most beloved Disney films of all time, The Wonderful World of Disney and ABC are proud to present a spectacular, live musical event showcasing “The Little Mermaid.”
The announcement was made today by President, ABC Entertainment, Karey Burke.
This special tribute to the original animated classic and its timeless music will take viewers on a magical adventure under the sea as live musical performances by a star-studded cast will be interwoven into the broadcast of the original feature film.
This never-before-seen hybrid format will feature beautifully intricate sets and costumes, with music from the original animated film and the Tony Award®-winning Broadway stage version, originally composed by eight-time Oscar®-winning composer, Alan Menken. Howard Ashman’s iconic film lyrics will also be showcased, while lyricist for the Broadway adaptation, Glenn Slater, will contribute to the star-studded spectacular.
Following her breakout role as the voice of Moana in the Walt Disney Pictures film “Moana,” Auli’i Cravalho will make a splash as Ariel in the live studio production of “The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!”
Oscar®-nominated, and GRAMMY®, Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award-winning R&B artist, actor and producer Queen Latifah is set to play Ursula.
Renowned reggae musician, singer, DJ, actor and GRAMMY-winning artist Shaggy will voice the beloved crustacean, Sebastian, in this musical reinterpretation. Additional cast announcements will be made at a later date.
“The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!” is produced by Done+Dusted. Executive producers include Done+Dusted’s Hamish Hamilton, who will also direct, Katy Mullan, David Jammy, Raj Kapoor and Ian Stewart. Also executive producing is Richard Kraft, producer and director of the acclaimed Hollywood Bowl productions of “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
“The Wonderful World of Disney presents The Little Mermaid Live!” will air TUESDAY, NOV. 5 (8:00 – 10:00 p.m. EST), live on ABC.

Matt Damon encounters Chewbacca at the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., Aug. 5, 2019.
Damon, who was vacationing with family, met Chewbacca in front of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run before taking the controls of the fastest ship in the galaxy.
Matt was excited to take his family on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers during his visit.
It was also their first time visiting the land.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is an anchor attraction inside the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which opened May 31, 2019, at Disneyland Park in California and will open Aug. 29, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. It combines immersive storytelling with interactive gameplay to make guests the protagonists of their own Star Wars adventures in a way never before undertaken by Disney Parks.

There is a sassy new Mickey and Minnie Floral Dress now available at Disney Springs! This floral frock has vivid colors that are perfect for Summer and early Autumn. It is also a classic silhouette that can be dressed up or down!
This is one of the first Mickey and Minnie prints we’ve seen on the dapper style dresses from the Dress Shop. The dress has a beautiful robin egg blue, and is contrasted with a red hem. A subtle sprinkling of white micro polka dots also covers the dress. Mickey and Minnie peek out behind gorgeous flowers inspired by vintage floral designs that shower the dress. It has a simple a-line silhouette that is high waisted, and smocked in the back. This is one of the most classic silhouettes of the Disney Dress Shop dresses, and it is very flattering on most!
The beautiful Mickey and Minnie Floral Dress can be found at the Marketplace Co-op in Disney Springs, and retails for $128.00. The dress is currently available as a Disney Parks exclusive, and is not yet sold online.

Back in May, we reported that the “Leave a Legacy” Monoliths in Epcot were going to be moved out in phases. Starting August 6th the second phase of removal will begin.
The current location of “Leave a Legacy” is at the entrance of the park. But Disney is giving Epcot’s current entrance a facelift. The plaza will welcome guests with new pathways, more greenery, and a newly reimagined fountain.
You may be asking yourself, how will this affect my upcoming trip? You should not have any issues with the upcoming construction. Those who rent strollers, wheelchairs, or ECVs. There will be a new pathway around the construction to access the rental location.
If you or someone you know has a photo on the monolith, no need to worry. They are being moved to a new location and even the pictures are going to be updated. The new location will also come with a new directory of where your photo will be. Long are the days of trying to squint at the thousands of rows of tiny pictures.
While we currently have no word as to where the “Leave a Legacy” Monoliths will be moved to, we would like to hear your guess down in the comments.

Something sweet has arrived for Halloween at the Disney Parks. We found the new Candy Corn Minnie Ears can be found at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, but they are also available at Disneyland as well! These are a delicious sighting for those of us who are eagerly anticipating Halloween at the Disney parks too.
You may recognize the candy corn style from last year’s Halloween Minnie ears, but these are actually different. The ears are covered in shimmery black micro sequins, which catch the light boo-tifully. Inside of the ears is lined with a contrasting Halloween orange velvet as well. The new candy corn bow is a thick lurex like ribbon. It is coated in lots of iridescent glitter in different sizes to mimic sparkling sugar! The stiff bow has an ombre of yellow, orange and white, which when cinched in the middle it looks like two delicious pieces of candy corn.
We can expect these to start popping up around the Disney Parks more as Halloween approaches. Like most Minnie Mouse ears the new Halloween pair retails for $27.99.
