Trail’s End Review: Roasted Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken Strips

A new contender has joined the ranks of quick-service favorites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! We recently took a trip out to Trail’s End Restaurant to sample the buzzworthy Roasted Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken Strips, and we’re happy to report that the classic chicken strip just got a significant upgrade.

Quality and Flavor: A Cheesy Winner

The first thing to note is the overall improvement in the quality of the chicken strips themselves—they are visibly better, providing a solid foundation for the new flavor profile.

Despite the name, those hoping for a fiery kick might be surprised. The “Roasted Jalapeño Cheddar” name is more descriptive of the flavor than the heat level. We found the strips were covered in a generous amount of sauce that was overwhelmingly cheesy and savory, with the spice playing a very minor role.

The heat is highly controlled. There were only a couple of small jalapeño slices placed on top of the strips, and the overall flavor remained comfortably mild. If you are sensitive to spice, this should not bother you at all!

Perfect for Dipping

The amount of sauce slathered on these strips was ample, creating a wonderfully gooey, cheesy coating that maximized the flavor of the cheddar. A pleasant bonus? There was enough of the cheesy sauce left on the plate to happily dip our accompanying French fries, making this a satisfying and fun meal.

The new Roasted Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken Strips are a delicious and comforting addition to the menu at Trail’s End. Disney’s Yacht Club Christmas Village is Back

Step into the lobby of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort this holiday season to witness the return of the charming miniature Christmas village! This highly anticipated, detailed display is presented alongside a magnificent Christmas tree and other festive resort decorations.

Situated behind decorative fencing and foliage in the lobby, the Christmas Village is a feast for the eyes. Outstanding Achievement – Ride Experiences Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry

Epic Universe itself took home Outstanding Achievement for Theme Park, officially cementing its status as the industry’s new gold standard. But that was just the beginning. Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry conjured up an Outstanding Achievement for Ride Experiences, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment scared up its own Outstanding Achievement for Attraction, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk soared away with Outstanding Achievement for Theme Park Land. That’s a sweep that would make even Bowser jealous.

The celebration didn’t stop with the new kids on the block. Former Universal Creative executive Dale Mason received the prestigious Buzz Price Thea Award for a Lifetime of Outstanding Achievement.
