Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is turning up the flavor and the volume this spring as the Food, Wine & Garden Festival returns for 2026. Running Fridays through Sundays from March 6 through May 10, the fan-favorite event blends global cuisine, vibrant gardens, and live concerts from some seriously big names, all included with park admission.

Guests can sip and savor their way across the park with more than 65 menu items featuring both new dishes and returning favorites. New bites this year include Red Wine-Braised Short Rib and Herb-Crusted Lamb Steak, while popular dishes like the Cajun Lobster Roll and Smoked Chicken & White Cheddar Mac & Cheese are making their delicious return. Sweet treats are also on the menu with options like Mini Bananas Foster Crepes and Mixed Berry Tart rounding out the lineup.

Disney Magic Meets ASL

Disney is proving that the “universal language” of storytelling is about to get a lot more expressive. This spring, Walt Disney Animation Studios is teaming up with the Tony Award-winning Deaf West Theatre to launch a groundbreaking new series: Disney Animation’s Songs in Sign Language.

Debuting on Disney+ on April 27, the release is timed perfectly to honor National Deaf History Month. The series reimagines three iconic musical sequences from recent hits, blending the fluid artistry of Disney animation with the rich, conceptual beauty of American Sign Language (ASL).

Reimagining the Classics

Rather than simply adding a signer in the corner of the screen, Disney has gone a step further. Under the direction of veteran animator Hyrum Osmond, a team of more than 20 animators created entirely new animation for these sequences.

By reworking the character movements to perform in ASL, the studio ensures that the characters themselves are communicating directly with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The featured songs include:

“The Next Right Thing” (Frozen 2)
“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” (Encanto)
“Beyond” (Moana 2)

A Partnership of Concept and Emotion

The collaboration with Los Angeles-based Deaf West Theatre was essential to ensuring cultural and linguistic authenticity. Artistic Director DJ Kurs, alongside choreographer Catalene Sacchetti and a troupe of eight performers, worked to translate lyrics not just word-for-word, but through the deep concepts and emotions inherent in the songs.

“For so long, we have known and loved the artistic medium of Disney Animation. Here, the art form was adapting to us,” says Kurs. “I hope this unlocks possibilities in the minds and hearts of Deaf children, and that this all leads to more down the road.”

A Personal Mission

For Director Hyrum Osmond, the project is more than a professional milestone—it’s a personal bridge. Osmond’s father is Deaf, and he reflects on how a language barrier impacted their relationship growing up. He cites two primary reasons for the project:

First, he believes sign language is one of the most beautiful ways to communicate and that animation is the perfect medium to showcase it. Second, he wants to connect with the Deaf community in a way he wasn’t able to as a child, using these musical numbers to “bring down barriers.”

Go Behind the Scenes

To give audiences a deeper look at this intricate process, Disney+ will also debut a special behind-the-scenes featurette. The documentary will take viewers into the collaboration, showing how the animators worked with ASL reference performers to capture the specific hand shapes, facial expressions, and body language that make ASL so vibrant.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to Build First Harry Potter Land Featuring Hogwarts and Diagon Alley

The wizarding world is about to expand in a big way. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is planning a massive new Harry Potter-themed land that will become the first theme park area in the world to feature full-scale recreations of both Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley within a single land.

According to reports tied to government construction permits, the expansion will significantly increase the indoor park’s footprint by roughly 26 percent. The project will bring iconic locations from the Harry Potter universe together under one roof, something that has not been done in existing Wizarding World attractions. While Universal parks in Orlando, Hollywood, and other locations feature incredibly detailed recreations of Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and Hogwarts Castle, those experiences are typically split across different parks or locations.

For example, Universal Studios Florida is home to Diagon Alley, while Hogwarts Castle sits inside Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. At Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can explore Hogsmeade and visit Hogwarts, but Diagon Alley is not part of the park. The upcoming Abu Dhabi expansion will be the first to combine these major locations into one immersive land.

The project will also include additional attractions, including a Superman-themed roller coaster, as part of the larger expansion at the indoor theme park. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi already features lands themed to DC Comics, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, and other Warner Bros. franchises.

Once complete, the new addition will make Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi the seventh theme park location worldwide to feature Harry Potter attractions and the first one not operated by Universal. Universal’s Wizarding World experiences stem from a licensing agreement signed with Warner Bros. in 2007, which granted the company rights to build Harry Potter attractions at its theme parks around the world.

Construction on the expansion is reportedly already underway, though details about the exact attractions and whether the land will draw more heavily from the books, films, or the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series have not yet been announced.

Construction Walls Go Up Inside Tomorrowland Launch Depot Following Closure of TRON Identity Program

Something new may be downloading soon in Tomorrowland. Construction walls have appeared inside Tomorrowland Launch Depot at Magic Kingdom following the permanent closure of the TRON Identity Program experience earlier this year.

The TRON Identity Program officially ended operations on New Year’s Eve after months of heavy discounts leading up to its closure. The experience allowed guests to create custom action figures designed to resemble themselves as programs inside the digital world of TRON. With the experience now removed, construction walls have been installed inside the retail location, blocking off the former area where the activity once took place.

Despite the new walls, guests can still move through the shop thanks to a temporary corridor that has been created along the side of the store. The pathway allows visitors to continue entering and exiting the Launch Depot while work takes place behind the scenes.

The changes don’t stop there. The D-Tech MaDe kiosks inside Tomorrowland Launch Depot also closed after New Year’s Eve, eliminating the personalized merchandise options that were previously available in the location.

At this time, Disney has not announced what changes or updates may be coming to the space. For now, guests passing through Tomorrowland Launch Depot will see construction walls where the TRON Identity Program once operated as Disney prepares whatever comes next for the futuristic shop.

One of the biggest highlights of the celebration will take place inside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, where Yoshi will appear for a limited-time meet and greet. Guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort will be able to snap photos with the beloved character as part of the movie celebration.
