Sneak peek of the foods at Disney's Festival of Holidays 2019 in California Adventure

Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure park on Nov. 8th with music, dance and diverse cultural festivities. Disney has shared with us a sneak peek of some of the foods you can expect to find when it opens tomorrow. No need to worry if you can’t remember all of them as they will have Disney Festival of Holidays Tasting Passport at any of the marketplaces to guide you on your yummy holiday journey.

Also available for all guests is the Sip and Savor Pass, which gives you the opportunity to taste your way through your choice of eight different dishes or non-alcoholic beverages from participating Festival Foods Marketplace locations. This pass can be purchased at various locations throughout the park, including Festival Merchandise Carts, Seaside SouvenirsKingswell Camera Shop, and Rushin’ River Outfitters.

Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ Added to Disney+ Launch Day Line-Up. Avengers, Assemble! Previously, it had been announced that Disney planned to add Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame to the Disney+ roster sometime in December 2019, but less than a week away from debuting, the House of Mouse shared the news that Endgame will be available to stream on Launch Day instead!

“Oh snap! [Avengers: Endgame] is coming to [Disney+]. Start streaming the epic finale to Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga on November 12 in the US, Canada and Netherlands and on November 19 in Australia and New Zealand.”

The video, shared on Disney+ and Marvel’s many social media accounts, has garnished a ton of attention online and has Marvel fans buzzing. Originally, Endgame was supposed to debut on Disney’s new streaming service in mid-December, but earlier this morning, Disney and Marvel shared the news with the world that Avengers: Endgame would be available November 12th, nearly a month earlier than expected.

Needless to say fans were happily surprised after the news broke out. For months, fans have been asking online when Endgame would become available on Disney+ and questioning the choice to leave it off the launch day roster. Luckily, Marvel and Disney took the hint from fans and decided to add the highest grossing film of all time to the new streaming service early .

New Scent Overlays for "it's a small world" Holiday!

New holiday scent overlays are coming to “it’s a small world” Holiday in Disneyland

Guests will experience three scents as they travel on the most cheerful boat ride in the world. While passing through the Asia section, guests will smell floral cherry blossoms. South America will feature a classic cinnamon scent. Finally, the South Seas will bring a tropical feel with the smell of coconut and thousands of bubbles floating throughout the air. These new scents are joined by the traditional scents of fresh pine and peppermint candy that have appeared in the European areas of the ride in years past. 

“It’s a small world” Holiday is a must-do for those traveling to Disneyland for the holiday season. The overlay is appearing for its 23rd season in 2019. The classic attraction is transformed to feature the children of the world dressing in seasonal costumes, showing holiday traditions and cultures, and singing your favorite holiday tunes. 

Disney has also decided to add FastPass for this attraction due to its popularity. Guests can make a FastPass for “its a small world” Holiday from November 8th, 2019 to January 6th, 2020. 

Over a dozen Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort spend 35 days installing the glittering facade of it’s a small world” Holiday each year. It also takes nearly 25 Cast Members to decorate in attraction’s interior for the holidays. 50,000 lights are used on the outside of the attraction while an additional 350,000 mini-lights are used to brighten up the rest of Fantasyland.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts this Friday and Disney has shared with us a sneak peek of the foods from my favorite Holiday Party!

So when you aren’t busy enjoying the character greetings, entertainment, hot cocoa and cookies you might want to check out some of these special food items!

It’s the best way to maximize your time in the park!
